I was so excited to go here. They were highly recommended, and it seemed worth the hour drive from my house. Yes, Rob is a great mechanic- he talks to you like a smart human, explains things well with visuals, and their prices are low due to their location in the middle of nowhere. I dropped my car off, and went to pick it up a few days later (after they called to tell me it was ready and I said I would be in the next day to pick it up). Their hours are posted 8-5, M-F. I got there at 9:00, and there was no one there, nor was anyone answering the phone. I waited a long time, then had to go all the way back to town with no idea wtf. It was a 90 mile round trip, and it wrecked my day completely to not get my car back as expected (almost got fired, thank you so much). But I stayed calm, and was ridiculously nice to them, even after learning that they were late because they were out on the RIVER (they called me at 10:15). I was still really nice when I went in the next day, but Tricia was palpably hostile, wouldnt look at me or respond to me even when I asked a question and was handing her hundreds of dollars. I wasnt rude, I didnt demand anything, but they barely apologized, and acted like they didnt care at all. Id rather pay higher prices than go through this stressed out mess again. No matter how good they are, thats terrible customer service, and whats the point if you cant depend on them or their posted hours? It takes a lot for me to abandon a great mechanic, but wow. It was a super depressing experience, and I was taken aback at how rude she was, when they were the ones who messed up. Oh well, I will find another mechanic who does care about my business. Im still pretty upset at how rude she was, and how badly that missed day wrecked my entire week. Im sure theyll continue to stay busy, because hes great at working on Subarus, but I cant justify ever going here again. We all work hard, and some basic manners and consideration would be appreciated.

I was headed down from timberline and my Subaru started making an awful noise coming from the front tire. My friend and I stopped at the rest station and decided not to go any further. I called triple A while my friend looked for mechanics on her smart phone. We found Robs and had us towed there. They were very friendly and got us in quickly even though we could see that they were already very busy. Trish (his wife) seemed to think since it happened so suddenly it could be something simple. It was nice to have another female presence in the garage as a visit to any garage can be intimidating and stressful. Rob removed the tire and within minutes greeted me in the waiting area with a tiny tiny little rock. I almost didnt believe him that a little rock like that was making all the noise. Back on the ground and no more noise! Whats even more amazing is they didnt even want to charge us anything. I made sure to give him something for his time, as they did save our weekend for us.

SHADIEST MACHANIC EVER!! He has a running pattern of misdiagnosing the heads on several local vehicles, heads seem to be his favorite, as they are the most frequently misdiagnosed problem. Despite the fact that he misdiagnosed the problem he was not willing to back his work or give credit for the money that was paid to him. Sadly Im not the only one hes done this to. When called out for the problem, this short little dude and his giant troll looking wife got aggressive, violent and while screaming profanities backed my car up in to the middle of the road and left it there. Despite the fact that he had already been paid in full for a job that did nothing towards fixing my vehicle. He should be ashamed of himself. Not a good way to stay in business. I highly DO NOT RECCOMMEND this business.

DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE MAN. HE HAD MY CAR FOR DAYS AND WHEN i WENT IN TO PICK IT UP BECAUSE I FIGURED HE COULD,NT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM HIS RESPONSE TO ME WAS " TAKE YOUR CAR AND GET OUT OF HERE IM NOT TELLING YOU WHATS WRONG" " i HAVE PLENTY OF WORK ... I DONT NEED YOUR BUSINESS" HE GOT IN MY FACE AND I LEFT THERE FEELING VIOLATED AND SHAKING. I FIND THIS MAN TO BE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO ONE SHOULD TRUST THEM WITH THERE CAR. I DID NOTHING TO HIM BUT ASK FOR HELP. i WOULD OF HAPPILY LEFT MY CAR THERE FOR HIM TO FIX BUT HE IMMEDIATELY TOOK THE DEFENSIVE AND WAS AGGRESSIVELY MEAN. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN. IM A LITTLE WOMAN WHO NEEDED HELP,. THIS IS NO WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS. I REPEAT MYSELF~DO NOT USE THIS MAN TO FIX YOUR CAR IF YOU HAVE YOUR CAR THERE GO GET IT NOW

Rob and Tricia are so friendly and helpful. Rob is an excellent mechanic and works in more than Subarus. His prices are reasonable and fair and he does his best to mitigate what repairs are really needed. High recommend!
