I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5, because I have only had 1 experience with this company so my review is limited to that. We had been experiencing some problems with the drains going down slowly, and water coming up the drain in the tub. The other morning very early, the toilet overflowed onto the bathroom floor while water also came up through the tub again. I called them at around 6:30 in the morning. They returned my call as soon as they opened at 8:00, and had a plumber here by 10:00. The plumber was presentable and wore shoe covers so he wouldnt track dirt through my house. He checked out the bathroom and told me it was either a clogged trap or a main sewer line issue. He went outside to check the trap and it was, indeed, clogged. He came back in to tell me what he found and what it would cost. I gave up the thumbs up and he did the work. It only took a few minutes. Then he came back inside and tested the drains and toilet to make sure all was clear. The whole job took about half an hour and cost me less than $180, which was great because I was fearing something worse. I would definitely call them again if I had another plumbing issue.

The customer service was top notch! David and Christian were very respectful from the moment they arrived at my home. They were very knowledgeable and honest. Neither tried to upsell me on anything I did not need and they were sure to guide me in the right direction on the repairs that I should have done. They kept me informed on how the progress was going through out the whole process and made me feel very glad to have chosen Elek for my plumbing repairs. A++ overall on the whole experience! The only recommendation I have is that Elek should expand to other states (Michigan).

I was very pleased with the service. I would have liked them to come a bit faster (I had water running, though not very fast, down the wall), but they came that afternoon as promised. Kevin was terrific. He was calm and very deliberate in diagnosing and fixing the problem. He did not rush (it his last call) but it was the Friday afternoon/evening before Labor Day weekend. Of course it was pricey - it was an emergency call - but it was definitely less than I feared. I will continue with Elek to use their regular, that is to say scheduled, services for my other plumbing jobs.

If you are looking for an honest plumbing company, this is the place. Easy to schedule, and they use excellent parts. We have tried three other area companies over the years, and all left us feeling ripped off. I had to actually block one of the other companies from calling every month for specials. The work ELEK has done for us is perfect. This is a really nice group of service techs, they dont try to sell you things you dont need. the home inspection is worth the money.

Worse experience ever. After leaving our family backed up with raw sewage for 2 weeks till they could finally dig up our pipes to replace,we find out the pipes were completely fine and never needed to be dug up. And the disgusting part is "we are still not draining and Elek will do nothing about it" . Only bright side is Mr. Rooter came out and discovered it was only a clean out in a floor drain that was blocked... Way to go Elek,Super stars my ass!! Super bozos!!!

The people at Elek plumbing were very professional and courteous. The service was incredibly prompt. They were at a water leak in less than 24 hours. They kept me posted of all the details . Fixed at least key pipe and replaced a water heater all within two days with continuous correspondence with me not being on site. Derek was most professional and helpful.
