Ed Hiles and Larry were very prompt. They were professional yet personable whenever we saw them and talked to them. Our questions were always answered (and we had many!) We have always used window a/c units in our home. We contacted Laury about having central air installed and decided on a heat pump with ductwork under the house. Our old "wall heaters" (large and annoying) were replaced with registers. We are still trying to get an even balance in our home but are pretty close to it...maybe a few more adjustments will finish the job. The young men who came to do our "Air escape" test were also very nice... Thanks again Ed and Larry for a job well done, would recommend Laurey Heating/Cooling/Plumbing anytime (especially recommend Ed and Larry-they work well together and were very patient with us!)
Have used Laury Heating and Cooling for over 10 years. Also had exceptional service. We recently moved and needed our current heating and cooling systems evaluated so we could enter into a Service Contract with Laury. Matt evaluated the cooling system and James had done the heating portion several months ago. Both men were knowledgeable and completed their inspections the in the "Laury Tradition". Always pleased with the service from initial telephone call for service to the "hands on" application in the home. I have to mentioned that in addition to heating and cooling we have used their plumbing services. Would highly recommend Laury for all your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.
The ease with which we were able to schedule an appointment to have our Central AC system serviced was amazing. The service person arrived right on time and got down to business immediately. He returned the long hose that he had used from our yard to the proper place, just as he had found it. He offered suggestions for future service issues that may crop us. My wife was able to explain things to me as I was unable to be present during the service call. We call Laury whenever we have an issue with our AC system. As part of converting from propane to natural gas, Laury did a energy audit. We qualified for a $4,000 rebate from the New Jersey if we replaced our 15 year old heaters, air-conditioners, water heater as well as air sealed and insulated our attic. We also qualified for 0% financing so there was no out of pocket costs. Laury handled everything with minimal paperwork on our part. The crew that installed the equipment was very professional and clean. We were so happy with the service that we hired them a few months later to install our sink in our remodeled bathroom. My wife called Laury on 8-18 because we were having a problem with our tankless hot water system. A service man showed up later that day. He knew about tankless hot water systems but not our specific model. He was able to evaluate the situation from a few questions he asked me and reading the heater manual. He was able to do some cleaning of the filters and finally determined it was a micro-switch problem not letting us get the proper amount of hot water. He also gave helpful info to me on how to do regular maintenance as needed. The cost for the service call seemed quite reasonable and we have had no problems since that time
Technician arrived in scheduled window for service call and unit not providing cooling, he was professional and properly diagnosed the issues (valve failed and after that was replaced diagnosed that the return well was not functioning). He provided a work around for the return well not functioning, checked both Water Furnace units and added coolant to one unit. Both units working up to par, I am pleased to having both units working as they should (they are 20 years old and were installed by Laury when the house was built). I am very glad to be cool again. I would recommend them.
Laurys has been our service provider for 30 years. Over the years they have installed our original equipment and a later a new heat pump always doing an excellent job. They continue to service our equipment yearly. When we called with a problem this past week, they were able to respond within the same week and their technician corrected the problem immediately. The technician was both friendly and professional. I would recommend them to family and friends. Thank you, LHC, for your continued good service.
Today, Dana West made an early evening service call, to review and adjust control settings for the new central air/heat pump unit. We had a smart thermostat installed with the new equipment, and I had also requested help with making/maintaining particular settings. Dana called ahead of his arrival; arrived on-time; and, explained some of the control details, as well as operating features of the unit. He is a thoughtful and skilled person, and a fine representative of Laury Heating Cooling & Plumbing.
I had them come out for an emergency call last night. Ive never used them before and other companies I called wouldnt come out because I wasnt an existing customer of theirs. The tech called me and told me when hed be here and showed up on time. He was extremely polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He showed me the problem and explained everything to me in detail. The rate was VERY fair considering it was an emergency call. He even told me about a program available to upgrade my unit. A+++ all around!!
I have to say that Laury Heating has some amazing service. We had a problem with a air conditioning system. We were told that a tech would be here in the morning and unlike some other companies that weve worked with, the tech Steve came early in the morning. He introduced himself and explained everything that was happening and what he was going to do. Even with having to go a pickup a new motor, the job was done quickly, thoroughly and professionally.
Our experience with dealing with Laury Heating Cooling & Plumbing has existed over 30 years! We have had heating and cooling systems put in. Our latest experience with them was to have a sump pump put in. The two gentlemen that installed it were very polite. I took pictures of what they were doing. They told me about the system all along the way. I will have pictures up at their site. I only wish I could post pics here! Thanks Laury and thank to Moses!
Tyler knows HVAC systems. When he came to our service call, he was able to give recommendations and diagnose our problems. He did this very efficiently and explain things in a way that a non-HVAC person such as myself could understand. At the same time, he was able to explain things to my husband in terms that I am still trying to figure out. We are definitely getting a service contract with Laury as long as Tyler is the one who comes to our home!!
We have always received outstanding service from Laury Heating. Recently, we ripped up our kitchen floor and when we moved our refrigerator, the water line to our ice maker came loose (we thought we damaged the water line) and we had water not only on our floor but in our basement as well. We called around 8am the next morning and within an hour, there was a technician at my front door. THAT is outstanding customer service. Thank you.
