I am from CT and was travelling on I-78 to PA 100 towards Pottstown when a tire blew and the battery went dead. After AAA got me going again temporarily, I began to look for a place to get a new tire and battery when I spotted this Meineke. It was around 4:30 in the afternoon and I was afraid they would be soon closing for the day and not be able to help me. To my surprise, I was greeted with a smile and handshake by the owner Will Randell who immediately had my car up on a lift. The tire was beyond repair and the battery was totally dead...only the alternator was keeping it running. Jerika found a place that had an inexpensive tire to get me back on the road. Within 60 minutes I had a new battery and tire installed and I was on my way. I found the customer service to be exceptional. I was from out of state and was treated like an "old" friend by Will and Jerika. They did not advantage of an out of state motorist in trouble. If I lived nearby, I would definitely take my car here for repairs. The next day on my way back to CT, I noticed my other tire was extremely low when I stopped for gas in Emmaus....probably a slow leak around the seal from hitting a famous PA pot holel...so I stopped once more at Meineke before getting on I-78 and within 15 minutes they had it resealed and a new valve installed. Thanks to everyone, I made it safely back to CT. You are all great and the next time Im passing through Emmaus I will stop by to say hello! Take care and keep up the great work! Ed

We would love to pass everyone the first time on state inspections, but we have requirements that must be met. The tires on the vehicle were the first concern, we showed the customer the concern, and he stated he was going to bring the vehicle back to where the tires were installed hoping to get a discount being they only have 10,000 miles on them, but we explained that the problem with the tires was do to the vehicle needing a wheel alignment. All the other items were explained and reviewed with the customer. We try to show the customers the concerns so they will have a better understanding of what the vehicles need. Last thing is I can not control the inspection process at other shops, but we go by the book which upsets a small number of customers, but part of our job is to ensure the vehicles we inspect are NOT a safety concern on the roads we all use. The customer was a little upset so we even gave him the option of calling the state to see if the state would authorize passing the vehicle which he declined. In order to ensure we have proper documentation we started taking pictures of concerned areas in case a concern comes up in the future.

My boyfriend, Jim, plows over night when we get hit with snow storms, and he came out to a dead battery yesterday morning when he was getting ready to head home from work. After probably the 20th jump start our car had to endure in the last several months, he found Meineke down the street from our house to get the battery replaced (this has been a reoccurring problem and he was concerned about the car starting in the cold days to come). He walked in to Meineke to look into having the battery replaced (mind you this was after being out in below zero temps all night, so he just wanted to be home at this point). Will was nice enough to get our vehicle right in, no hesitation, and take care of replacing the battery. This, in itself, was extremely appreciated, being that Jim was already exhausted from his over-night of work and was able to get our battery changed quickly and efficiently to be able to get home sooner. Even better, he received a military discount! We certainly are penny pinchers, so this was a great help as well in our times of need. Thank you for the amazing customer service and care. We will be back soon!

Do yourself a favor and never take your car here. The only reason I gave this place a try was how close it is to my house. First of all, the staff (who I believe is the owner) is extremely rude. He stared at a computer screen for 10 minutes as I stood in front of the desk waiting to be helped. But more importantly they rip people off and replace parts that are fine! They came up with a list of parts my car needed for inspection that totaled $923. The list included 2 tires (they were replaced 10000 miles ago and are 30000 mile tires), a tie rod, engine gasket, and brake cylinder. They also said my high beam switch was broken and my plate lights were out. Both of which I walked up to my car and checked and they were working fine. I told the guy and seemed baffled that they were now working. I ended up taking it to the meineke on south 4th street the next day and told them I needed inspection without saying what just happened. They called me an hour later and said my car was done and needed nothing! Bottom line, this place lies to you and fixes whats not broken to rip you off. Dont go there!

I would strongly suggest that you not take your vehicle here.I had my vehicle towed here as one of my tire studs fell back into the brake well when I was changing my tire. Their mechanic stripped my rear axle and then put the wheel nut back on and sent me on my way. Driving on this for 3 days destroyed my bearings and the wheel nut (as the wheel nut would not sit in place because they stripped the axle). Their mechanic also destroyed my tire pressure gauge when he changed the tire. When confronted, the owner and his son Will denied it and even suggested that I was setting them up despite pictures and me providing the actual parts to them after Bennett Toyota thankfully replaced the axle, bearings, and tire pressure sensor. The total repair cost me over $1,200. Emmaus Meineke would not refund a penny, even though the work that they did was substandard and cost me so much. I would never take my car here and I tell everyone I know never to go here. Really sad business practices and substandard technicians.

On multiple occasions they have charged a customer for a service but the service was never provided, such as a tire rotation, balance check, or vehicle alignment. Not only that but they will pass your vehicle for a safety inspection without performing the inspection. So long as the vehicle passes emissions tests on the computer, they will slap stickers on the vehicle without performing the necessary duties of PA State Inspection. A customer witnessed this first hand from the waiting room and when they asked the owner/manager about it, he fed them a lie saying because their car was a 2013 they werent required to perform the duties of a Safety Inspection. Not only do they steal and cheat their customers, the young man whom says he runs the shop is the most unprofessional person to run a shop. He drops the F bomb every other word along with other offensive words against women and mentally handicapped people. He also treats his employees like slaves.
