I took my 04 expedition to Tires Plus ( Malvern ) for state inspection in july 2016. I was also having an idling issue that needed to be looked at.I received a call the next day from Mike, the manager. he stated that I needed windshield wipers and a few other things to pass state inspection. He said it would cost just under $ 1700 dollars just to fix my car to pass inspection. Then he would have to do a diagnotics test that would cost $ 90 an hour just to investigate the idling problem. I went and picked up my car and took it to another repair shop in the area that was AAA approved and was highly regarded. I was told the next day that the only issue with my state inspection was I needed new windshield wiper blades.The idling issue was from a crankcase hose that was replaced. So my final bill with the new auto repair shop was $ 316.... yes $ 316....Tires Plus is ripping people off DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING.

Ive been going to Tires Plus for probably over 20 years. I credit their excellent service with my car lasting as long as it has. The guys there, especially Mike Ricketts, the present manager, are very accommodating. Today, I had to have a battery replaced. When I got there, the place was packed, but Mike managed to have the job done in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this location for ongoing maintenance and service. PS. April 14, 2016: I had a problem starting my car today. I finally got it started and took it to the Malvern/Frazer Tires Plus Store. The guy on the desk took the time to test my battery for no charge. I was drawn in by the allure of cheap oil changes and inspections. Had a few ok experiences with them, but mostly they ding you for everything they can possibly find on the inspection (said I needed to replace my struts even though I think the car rode fine). The main reason I wont be going back is the $100 diagnostic to tell me I had a bad battery. When I complained, the guy at the desk told me that the mechnic took 3 hours to do the diagnosis. I probably should have suspected the battery myself, but I dont really have a high opinion of a mechanic who takes 3 hours to tell me I have a bum battery when the symptom is a slow starting car.

DO NOT GO HERE. I wanted to take my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. When I called, I gave the employee the make and model of my car and asked the simple question of how much the estimated cost would be. The employee answered with a back-handed remark as if my question was ludicrous. He scoffed and told me it would be "about a million dollars." He also told me that I needed the upgraded oil, which I told him I did not want, but he insisted that I needed it. Needless to say, I did not end up making an appointment. I would never take my car here as I had a very unpleasant and rude experience.

I have've been going to this TiresPlus for several years since it's so close to where I work. They drop me off at work if I am early enough in the morning. They provide descent service but the employees seem a little grouchy sometimes. Couple of years ago, I noticed their mechanic stealing change from my car. This incident happened at least three times. Since then I don't leave any valuables in the car when I have them service it. I brought it up with their manager but other than apologizing he didn't take any other actions. Overall a descent place to get your car serviced.

Mike and his staff helped make our weekend. After going to a sketchy oil change location in the morning, the place managed to install the skid plate incomprehensibly wrong, both reversed and upside down. On our way up 202, the skid plate started dragging and we had to stop. We found Tires Plus, explained the situation, and not only did Mike get us back on the road quickly, but he did it for free. Were from Downingtown and not close enough to go regularly for service, but I wish I was as they were excellent.

I only take my car here for oil changes and small work. It is very close to my house so I just drop it off and come back to get it whenever they call me. I have never really had any problems with them besides waiting a long time in the lobby. I have had several people tell me not to take it there for inspections because they nickel and dime you for everything. But you def. cant beat the price of $20 for an oil change.

In the past, we had only used dealer servicing (2 decades worth). Ive now used Tires Plus for two vehicles several years, all maintenance, new tires and repairs. Their prices, friendly style and excellent service will keep me coming back again and again. The hours and accommodating schedule is very convenient. So thankful for Doug and Tires Plus! While visiting from MO my tires starting making a horrible sound at 4:15 on a Sunday. We arrived 15 minutes before they closed but they took their time checking my brakes and made sure everything was safe for us to continue on with our trip and explained what the sound was coming from. Great customer service!!

My car died on me Saturday night. They were open on a Sunday and were able to diagnose the problem as a busted harmonic balancer. They tried to find a replacement part that day. Unfortunately, they could not, but did get the part and fixed my car by noon on Monday. I live in central MD, so the immediate service on a Sunday was a huge help.

Mike Donley gave us amazing customer service. We were stranded on the turnpike around closing time and he stayed open to fix our tire and help us get a car full of a teenage youth group back to philly. I am so grateful to him! If he treats all his customers like this, I highly recommend!

I have always taken my car to Tires Plus for oil changes etc. at different locations. I now go the the Tires Plus in Malvern and they have the most courteous, professional, employees! They also dont try to push services on you. The prices are very competitive and the service is great.

I went for state inspection for my car and they handed me with estimate of $400 .. they said to in order to pass state inspection, i need to replace dash light and light above number plate .....costed me $400 .. will not go there again
