As an owner of an older car, I am very cautious of where I go for repairs. After searching for quite some time for a shop close to me I decided to give Clarks a try. I can honestly say this was a great decision! I cannot think of a negative comment to make about their work or overall operation. They fix what needs fixing the first time and dont push un-necessary repairs on you. In fact they recommended I NOT have a repair done because the cost outweighed the benefit. In addition, their Saturday hours work very well for me to not have to take time off from work to have an issue looked at. They even gave me a ride back to my house when I dropped off my car. I very highly recommend Clarks as a repair shop that you can trust both in the work they do and what they tell. you.

These guys are a hidden treasure in Phoenixville. Theyre skilled...good at diagnosing issues others havent been able to...and theyre prices are good too. If you own a Honda or Acura, theres no need to go to your dealer for service ever again. Im told they know these cars better than any dealer in the area. In addition to owning a Japanese car, weve always had late model German and American cars and my experience has always been positive. On several occasions theyve gone above and beyond the call -- and Ive heard much of the same positive feedback from neighbors and friends. Above all, theyre good, hardworking people and tell it like it is. Take your car there and youll be a customer for life.

So I went to Clarks Auto Repair since it had such great ratings and I needed to figure out what was wrong with my car while I was at college away from my usual Auto Repair place. I was hoping with such a high rating they would not take me for a ride but I was wrong. First they charged me $70 for just a diagnostic, where most places do a diagnostic for free. Second they told me I had about $1000 worth in repairs needed on my car. I took it to my home Auto Repair shop and they said only one thing needed fixed and that my total cost was $130. So unless your a regular customer and you know you are being treated fairly do not go here.

To day I went there for the first time, I got in an accident, and brought my car there. They werent able to fix it due to the extent of the damage, but the people were great! This help mitigate the stress from my disaster of a morning. Instead of trying to do something they werent equipped for, they told me upfront. They also let me park my car there for most of the day while I tried to deal with insurance. Additionally, they went above and beyond, by taking me home, since my car was not drivable. They are good honest people, and I would go back any time.

I purchased my Honda Civic from Limerick Honda dealer and went there faithfully for car service for years. After a bad service experience with Honda Limerick, I went to Clarks Auto. They were awesome and helped me out when the Honda dealer could not. I continued to go there for the next six years and they even helped me sell my Civic when I decided to get a new car. They were always straightforward about what work needed to get done verses what was optional. I appreciated their honesty and would high recommended them.

I have been to clarks auto a few times over the past 4 years for my Bmw. They were quick in getting it in every time and diagnosing the problem. I have saved many hours and money each visit. The staff continuously accesses my car better than my dealership, and gets me out without putting me through the ringer. Just a friendly honest local company. I would recommend them in any situation.

Until I found Clarkes I had suffered for years at the hands of an honest well meaning - but poor mechanic. My Honda had 165k miles and needed some TLC... these guys were awesome, knowlegable, and fair. They are my official new mechanics! BTW - there is a great detailer across the street.. by the time I cot my Honda back I felt like I had a brand new car.

Visiting in the area at Christmas, daughters older Honda Civic was overheating and she needed to return to Tennessee that day. Worked her car in to busy schedule morning after Xmas and had results complete before noon. Very reasonable price, excellent work. Got her home safe and on time.

Clarks is outstanding! We live in Phoenixville so we have a ton of auto repair shops we could go to but Ill only go to Clarks. They are super friendly, very knowledgable and always accomodating. I would highly recommend them!
