My Name Is Harriet Smeltzer Took My Maiden Name Back Two Years Ago, Didnt Know How To Change In Google, However, Jim From Handyside Knew How To Change My Frustrations Regarding My Heat, Rudd Outside Heat Pump. He Was The First Plumbing Contact That Could Explain My Heat Pump Problems To Me. One Other Contractor Actually Said I Need A New Unit And My Unit Is Only 6 Years Old. He Also Was The First That Did Not Come Through My Home And Out The Back Door To Do The Work, He Walked Around The House. Hes Knowledgeable Professional, Explains Whats Going On Well. Am So Happy That I Now Feel Cut Confident My Heating Problem Is Solved. He Found A Problem With An Overflow Tank That Could Have Burst And Put Water Within My Home. I Know Everything He Did Was Accurate And Done Right Because When He Showed Me The Part Of The Heat Pump That Needed Replaced, I Looked St The Part And In My Minds Eye Or Female Intuition Could Have Drawn The Part That I Felt Needed Relaxed. I Lived In This Condo 6 Years And No One Could Pin Point My Problem. Also The Ladies Who Work In The Office Are Nice, Professional And Do Care And.Accommodate Customers Well. Yes, I Found The Right People To Do A Good Job For Me. Professional, Timely, Courteous, Knowledgeable They Have My Recommendation To Anyone.

My wife and I have used Handyside many times in the last several years for all sorts of jobs from toilet repairs to replacing the furnace and installing central air in our very old home. We have always been extremely impressed with their professionalism, quality work, and reasonable pricing. For the last few service calls weve had Corey who is absolutely great to work with; even when Im throwing other small plumbing problems at him while hes still working on the problem he came to fix. I highly recommend Handyside! Had a new American Standard heat pump & air handler installed and we have been so comfortable ever since. My July and August electrics bills were reduced by $100 each month compared to last year despite the average temperatures were 3 to 4 degrees higher this year. Love the variable speed fan and touch screen automatic thermostat. No more fighting with my wife about turning the thermostat up and down all the time. The icing on the cake is the folks at Handyside are just plain nice and made the entire experience a pleasure to do business with them. AAA+++

Ive used several plumbing services in the Harrisburg and have had mixed success with some of them. To a large degree they all get the job done but they were lacking in some area -- courtesy of personnel, neatness, skill, price, prompt arrival, explaining what had to be done. Ive used Handyside twice and will call on them again for my next service need. Jim was friendly, courteous, enthused, fast, did a great job, cleaned up after himself and explained how he was going to fix my problem. Did I mention that the price was right? Great work! Alex arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He told me how much time it would take for the service and then got right to work. After the service was complete he explained what exactly he had done and he also told me that he switched the April Air system to the winter mode. Alex is the person who installed our April Air system last Spring and he explained everything to me in a clear manner to make sure I knew how the system works. He is an excellent employee and should be complimented for the great job he does.

Handyside has taken care of all of our plumbing needs for 10 years. Recently we updated the fixtures on our bathtub. It wasnt an easy job bc of the age of the current fixtures and lack of access behind the wall. After checking out the situation, Corey explained to me how he would do the job and advised me on where to shop for the new fixtures. He arrived on time, was able to complete the job, and cleaned up. So, I had decided to bleed my boiler this afternoon myself. It didnt work out so well and I lost my heat. My wife called Handyside and they sent out a service tech right away. Jim, the service tech, was extremely polite and informative. He took the time to explain what I had done wrong and took the extra time needed to make sure he got out all the air possible. When a pipe in our garage burst 2 winters ago, friends recommended we contact Handyside to help with the repair. We were so impressed by their service and courteous staff that they were our first call when our hot water heater died last year. Now this summer our air conditioner stopped and once again Handyside got us up and running quickly. Not sure what else can break but when/if it does well be calling Handyside again. :)

Handyside Plumbing Heating A/C repaired my Fujitsu outside A/C unit. It was loosing coolant. They had to replace some connections and a/c coolant. It is working nicely now. They also gave me a break on the repair price. The unit is working very well now. I am very satisfied with this company. They are very courteous and professional. This is the 3rd time I have dealt with them. I will be calling them again in the future.
