1.0 star rating 3/11/2016 If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. Maaco in Lancaster, Pa. not only didnt do the work they were paid to do, after keeping my car for a month, but they also created thousands of dollars of additional damages to my car. In fact, the mechanical work they did left the car unsafe to drive, as confirmed by the dealer who repaired their mechanical negligence. The body work they did has confused every professional who has evaluated it and worked on it. Where they were paid to remove and replace, they carved up spare parts and piece worked the car back together with soldering (had to be more expensive to do than the work they were hired to do, unless they paid a manual laborer minimum wage to put the car back together like a cheap puzzle)...no primer. According to the shop thats fixing the car now, that would have been a water damage nightmare in a years time. Where they were paid to remove and paint, they taped and painted, causing $1300 in overspray damages. All of this has been documented and Maaco has received most of the documentation from my credit card company dispute, insurance company and complaint filed with corporate Maaco, and yet they deny accountability for all of it. Ive been trying to get this done in the fastest way to get my car back in the condition it was in before the collision WITHOUT having to go to court, because thats just a soul sucking process. Looks like thats what Maaco wants, though. If you value your safety and your car, dont take it there!

I dinged my mothers car while in town caregiving for her. That was stressful enough, but I had to get it fixed before I left so to not further stress my mother out. After going around to a few body shops to get it repaired I was quoted well beyond my means at the time and on top of that everyone kept telling me it would take 2-3 days for them to do the work. That was not an option since I needed the car to take care of family. Maaco on Manheim Pike was my last attempt at a better option. My conversation with Sandy on the phone was pleasant, warm and genuine. Then when I brought the car in for them to look at it they quoted me the most affordable price than the rest and said they would at least try to get it back to me asap. Still indecisive, as I was leaving, Ryan (owner) ran out in the rain after hearing my situation and worked out a plan where they would get the work done and the car back to me within the same day. Thats all I needed to hear. That not only alleviated a boat load of stress but left me grateful that they went the extra mile for me. When all was said and done, they stuck to the plan we laid out and delivered a brand new fender within one day as promised. This, I learned, can be the difference between working with big corporate body shops and a smaller family owned shop like Maaco on Manhiem Pike. Great fender repair and quite honestly great family business.

Hardworking and honest team amongst an industry of crooks! These guys really went the extra mile to ensure I got the best customer service, quickest and BEST repairs to my 2015 Dodge Ram Laramie edition truck. Twice! Unfortunately Ive had to bring my truck into their shop a couple times over the past six months for body repairs (once wasnt my fault). But both times these guys kept me informed of all repairs needed and a good estimation of the price and length of the repair time. The second repair stint there were some complications with getting parts due to rarity and they were on the phone all over the country to get the correct part as quickly as possible and kept me up to date on what was happening. Hopefully I wont need to use Maacos services anytime soon. But if I need auto body repair work done, there is no other body shop Id trust with my truck. A huge shout to out to the entire team at Maaco on Manheim Pike!! Thanks for all your hard work!!! My truck looks and runs perfectly!!!! Rai A. E. Petersburg, Pa.

my husband and I brought his truck in to have the bed rust fixed.. both sides were pretty much non existent. after having several people tell us they wouldnt touch it we went to maaco. the 2 gentlemen in the office looked over our truck and gave us an estimated repair cost, they took an extra 3 days to repair from what they originally said but when we picked the truck up not only was it the same price they told us but the truck looke d brand new. both my husband and I are very happy with the repairs and would recommend the Lancaster maaco for any job big or small. Thanks again maaco great job

Just picked up our van today. Got smashed into on the right front side. Pretty bad. Took on somewhere else for estimate first, and they said 6000 plus. Took it to Maaco, andthey did it for 3500. Excellent job, all done in less then a week. Looks as if it never even happened. All the people down there were very friendly and personable. You could tell they knew what they were doing! if i ever want a car painted or get into another accident, ill be sure to go back down there.!

I thought these people were great. I went there to get bad damage on the side of my car fixed and when I took it in I didnt get any rude or annoying comments like "How did /that/ happen?!" like everywhere else I went for a quote. The estimate they gave me was literally half of what I had gotten from three other repair shops and they charged me exactly what the estimate was. Great quality, the paint color matched exactly and it was all done in a day. Highly recommend.

This maaco is head and shoulders above the maaco in York... Ive had 3 cars painted at Maaco 2 at York 1 in Lancaster. After having my last car painted in Lancaster I have to say that not all maaco shops are equal. The manager was very nice and he listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for. The other maaco left overs pray on my wheels and exhaust but this time everything was taped right Lancaster has my future business and they should get your as well

AWFUL!!! "Repaired" my car after a drunk hit me, 4 months later my bumper has started to come off my car and they claim that its not their problem! They were the ones who replaced the bumper!!!
