Where do I start? I started at their sister dealer manchester motors which is now thornton automotive. Okay lets start off by saying that I wanted to trade my truck in on a gas vehicle to be a little more practical. So shopped around at this lot and saw 2 that popped out at me a 08 sierra sle ccsb and a 10 silverado lt ccsb. The sierra was spraybombed underneath the whole side to cover up existing rust and the silverado was unavailable due to other reasons. Keep in mind I wasnt trying to spend a arm and a leg on a new vehicle neither of those were worth the $22.5k they were listed as. So I did see a truck at their mother lot thornton chevy that had interested me. I stopped in and checked it out. This was a 12 f150 xlt ccsb as well with the ecoboost. Checked it out underneath and was not undercoated, which was nice so I could see what was actually going on. I did notice a lot of black sand/ debris buildup on the undersides of the bed, which coming from a dodge I know what happens next. Also noticed quite a bit of corrosion on the aluminum of the engine itself, but no leaks so thats good! Took it out for a spin and loved it, nice get up and go, etc. Salesman of course up talks anything just to get you to buy something when having zero knowledge at the same time, which tended to be annoying. When going on a drive I like zero noise and have the windows down to hear what has been hidden. All appeared to be good with this truck so we talked some numbers which was 25.9k with 40k miles. A good bit more than I had planned to spend. Found out it was from Canada too, which explained the sand (hopefully no premature corrosion). I also purchased a 5year/ 100k power train warranty too. Once again I know how expensive trans get from owning a cummins, 48res aint cheap. This brought my total in the range of 28.5k. Again more than I planned to spend, but these people seemed to sound sincere, when I had asked about the 3 month warranty that applied to this vehicle they said they would take care of me. Heres where the fun starts I purchased this truck toward the end of April temps werent quite in the 90s yet. I go to use my a/c and the temp isnt blowing as cold as what it should be and my number 1 HVAC control for the fan no longer works. I call and ask about getting warranty work done on this. Im told that it has to be a complete failure. To me a setting not working on a fan is a failure to me considering I have to replace the resister module. Im also told my a/c recharge is not covered, since it still blows semi cold. Yeah okay, thanks guys! I get a call from the salesmen JC, claiming my issue with the a/c would be taken care of by them. I take it in and get a evac and recharge and have a bill for $120? Yeah I was sure taken care of with a 5% off coupon. I just spent $28.5K and they cant help me with a recharge? Next issue I run into is a metal on metal sound when turning sharply to the right. I raise my concern for a fix to be made and am told, "yeah we had this issue with another ford, you can bring it into us and pay us for a diagnosis." Once again I spent $28.5k why should I pay a diagnosis when this truck has a 90 day warranty? Just now this week after owning this truck for a little over 3 months now my front fenders behind the front tires are showing bubbling paint, which means rust behind the fender. Also discovered that ford must have a pretty crappy primer if my door seal causes the paint to flake right off the bottom of the door from the pressure of the seal. So lesson is dont also believe in these 90 day warranty from this dealer ship. They will do anything to avoid fixing the issues. Also just like any salesmen they talk up a great game, not sure how they sleep with themselves at night knowing what they have sold some people. I have never written a review before, this goes to show how much I am fed up with this dealer. My first and last buy from any dealer.

This is the worst car dealer I have ever dealt with. Their staff was friendly at first, but then the shady stuff started. Like MOST used car dealers, they are just as bad! We bought a vehicle through them and they turned around and tried to make us bring it back THREE days later because they said they didnt have us finish all of our paperwork and that they couldnt give us the deal on it that they once promised! After arguing back and forth with them and ending up putting bad reviews of our experience with them online, they then promised to honor the deal as long as we took our bad reviews about them down from the internet. It was a complete disaster. May I also ad that in the time we had the vehicle that we bought from them, which was only 1 1/2 years, we put over $2000 in parts into the vehicle and our last straw was when the transmission started to go on it. For a vehicle with only 60K miles on it, thats INSANE! So we traded it in at FREEDOM DODGE and may I say, we got the customer service that we were looking for, along with an amazing deal. And now every time I drive past their dealership with my BRAND NEW vehicle, I shake my head in amazement that they are even open at this point. We also notified the BBB, to which their response to the BBB in writing was that they had already resolved our issue...NO THEY HAD NOT!! Like I said, this place is really shady! Dont let the kind smiles draw you in, only to stick it to you once you walk out of there!

Just out cruising around the other day and stopped by Thornton to look at a used corvette they had on the lot. Not really interested, but as I was leaving, noticed a Camaro Convertable sitting on the lot, so we made one more stop. That is when we met Bob Pace. To make a long story short, I am now the proud owner of a 2017 White Camaro Convertible. But more importantly, Bob is not the normal high pressure slick (wont take NO for an answer) cutthroat salesman you would expect. He was friendly, genuine, and a truly caring individual. So if you are heading to Thornton I would suggest to look up Bob. You wont be sorry. And one more thing, On my inaugural ride,I accidentally damaged two wheels on the right side of my car. Total cost to repair was about $800. But since it was brand new, Bob went to bat for me with management and they agreed to eliminate their profit for the repairs. So for that, I thank you Bob and Thornton as well. So if you are looking for a car (or just out joyriding) and stop by Thornton, ask for Bob Pace and you will not be sorry;
