I drive a 2014 Nissan Rogue, I bought it on 10/31/2014 and less then 48 hours after I purchased the car, it was keyed. I called the dealership and they referred me to "someone they use" for $450 cash, I thought I was getting quite the deal. He fixed the scratch and I went on my way. Three weeks later my car was keyed again, the ENTIRE drivers side. I couldnt afford to pay out of pocket, so I filed an insurance claim and they referred me to SDR. As it turns out, the man the dealership referred me to didnt do such a great job, there was overspray and other signs of shoddy work--I wouldnt have known if Shannon hadnt pointed it out. She assured me that it would be taken care of, I left my marred car in the very qualified hands of SDR and Shannon called the rental car place to come pick me up. There were a few hiccups along the way, the repair took a little longer than expected. I dropped my car off on a Thursday and was originally told it would be done by Monday. My rental car bill was getting higher each day, as I did not have non-collision rental car coverage under my insurance policy (I do now). I called SDR in a bit of a panic regarding my rental car bill--they were kind, understanding and helpful, they ended up waiving my deductible to help with the rental car bill. In my experience car repair often takes longer than the original estimate, and most car repair places will offer condolences but not go any farther than that--as it is an estimate and not a guarantee. SDR went above and beyond by offering to waiving my deductible. I got my car back on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was in the lobby telling Shannon about my rental car experience (thats a story for another time) and she was just as upset as I was about my outrageous rental car bill and overall experience. She got right on the phone with one of the higher ups at the rental car agency and was a complete advocate for me--because of her my rental car bill was reduced by $150! Oh! And my car looked like new when I got it back. The team at SDR worked to correct the previous painters mistakes and informed me of ways to keep my new car looking beautiful. They also have a guarantee on their paint work! Overall, it was a wonderful experience! And as I told the staff at SDR, I hope I dont have to see them again any time soon (my car has been through enough in its short life off the lot), but I am comforted knowing that if/when Im in need of car repair, I can put my trust in SDR. Thank you SDR! You were great!

I could not imagine a scenario where I would choose any other collision center over SDR. The situation with my insurance company going back and forth with the other was frustrating to say the least, but I would go through it all again for the care I received at SDR. Robbin at the front desk was PHENOMENAL!!! She worked with both insurance companies to ensure that my vehicle would be ready to pick up without difficulty. As a college student, my upfront deductible was no chump change and paying it upon short notice after my insurance said I wouldnt need to left me in tears. Robbin was able to assist in making sure that I had a worry free experience and that I was able to pick up my gorgeously repaired "baby" without any difficulty to me. As for Edson, he is what made this experience worth while. I brought my car in with damage to the back bumper and a trunk that was damaged so badly I was unable to close it. The repairs were done quickly and without any problems. Edson had also worked with the other insurance to ensure that I would not have to pay my deductible and that I could drive away happy. AND I DID. I had come in with previous scratches and scuffs. I picked up my car fully repaired, clean beyond belief (I think cleaner than when I purchased it), and all those scrapes were GONE. They even bagged up all my change for me and left in the center console. My car was so neat and organized. It really was the cherry on top! My family has been a loyal customer of a collision center in Maryland, but I will no longer be returning as SDR is my new trusted repair center!!! Thank you guys so much!

Absolutely disgraceful service. When you call you get forwarded to a general voicemail which i am assuming is never checked because i havent received 1 call back in the 8 weeks my car has been at there shop. I call the "certified estimator" he never gives and honest answer or call back. They lie about the status of your car the few times you do get someone, last time i called they were pending an approval for a supplemental insurance policy, when i called the insurance they said SDR had received and cashed the check 3 weeks prior. Someone is clearly lying and i doubt its the insurance company because they are paying for my rental each day my cars in the shop and the repairs. it was recommended by the dealership i bought the car from to bring my car to SDR i called them to let them know the situation and advised them to stop recommending SDR that there service wasnt anywhere near the dealerships service and they are giving themselves a bad name by recommending SDR. Alot of people have had good experiences based on previous reviews, but honestly avoid this body shop if your expecting good customer service or an honest answer on your cars progress during its time getting repaired. I really wish i never brought my car there.

Im only giving two stars because I know theres worse places out there. I am extremely put off by the customer service of SDR. I took my car in for some body damage done by hail. I got my car inspected by Geico and took SDR the paperwork. They had me fill out a form and told me to wait 10 days and then my car would be done. The receptionist, Robin, was extremely friendly and helpful, but shed be the only one. After waiting 12 days with not even a peep from them, I call. I get told the person working on my car specifically was on lunch and would give me a call when he got back. It had been an hour or two before I realized he never called me. Long story short, it took 5 days and 3 different employees to tell me that my car had just been started and would be another week at least. This was 17 days after I dropped it off, 7 days after it should have been done and theyre telling me it was just then being started. By the time I get my car back, it will have been almost a month for what was originally quoted to me as 10 days. I will not be returning with my business to SDR auto and I reccomend you find somewhere else as well.

TERRIBLE customer service; ZERO communication; FAULTY bookkeeping I took my car in for a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT to repair minor hail damage on 7/15/15 and was told the repair would take a few days to one week, tops. I finally picked up my car on 8/17/15. This entire one month-plus process has been absolutely awful. SDR provided no communication during the entire process, neglecting to answer the phone and refusing to return voicemails. They never followed up with my insurance company either, allowing my car to sit for weeks as they waited for approval to finish additional repairs needed because of damage done by SDR in the initial repairs. SDR also could not manage to do proper bookkeeping and tried to charge me for a replacement windshield I had done with another company prior to taking my car to SDR. SDRs canned response is no excuse. Taking in more work than they could handle and then blaming the hail storm does not justify terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend SDR to anyone. I will continue to tell everyone I know about this horrible experience in the hopes that no one else has to suffer.
