I just had an experience that has turned me off to going to AutoZone any longer. I went to this location to purchase a brake master cylinder and some brake fluid. I had recently (within last 3 weeks) gone to this same location and they said they price matched Walmart on fluids and they gave me a price match on some transmission fluid. So this time, I went into this location to purchase the brake fluid and master cylinder but they wouldnt price match. They said they no longer price match Walmart. I cant stand inconsistency with policy. Anyway, I then called corporate customer service to gain some clarity on their price matching policy which I couldnt find after doing a quick search online. The first rep kept talking over me and hung up on me. I then called back and was able to find out, after the rep talked to a supervisor, that they price match competitors but they dont consider Walmart a competitor. Um, what?!? Get a clue Autozone. I was willing to spend close to $50 on a master cylinder that I can purchase from Amazon for $25 but your policy (or store, still not 100% clear) lost a sale because of pettiness over a few dollars on brake fluid. I do not plan on ever stepping foot in an Autozone again unless Im desperate. Congrats on the new price matching policy. It lost you a customer who has spent hundreds at your locations in the past month alone. By the way, the only reason I didnt leave a 1-star review (thats what Autozone corporate deserves since their merchandise is overpriced) is because the individuals working at this location have been kind and helpful in helpful in the past.

Dont buy their junk remanufactured parts... Then need to spend more money to have them take it back. Went in initially to purchase an alternator. Installed the new alternator. Had immediate issues. Diagnosed this new alternator as being faulty. Under load it was only outputting 12volts. Im an industrial mechanic/electrician. Took this new alternator back off and attempted to return/exchange the alternator, the manager Jonathan ran their 30 second test and said "our machine says its good, in order to get a refund/exchange you will need "proof" its bad by a "certified" mechanic." I explained to the manager how the Honda system workings being ELD controlled and told him there was no possible way for his machine to test the alternator and voltage regulator correctly. 1. It reads voltage only, no amperage. 2. You can not verify the internal voltage regulator is functioning on this test bench. Placed this junk unit back onto the vehicle and took it to Honda to verify my claims. Their testing concluded the alternator was bad. I took it back and got a full cash refund... However this doesnt take into account the hours spent swapping faulty units and the 80 dollars I had to pay to acquire "proof" for an easily diagnosed problem or the 70 lost for the core on an OEM replacement.

I thought I had a dead car battery, but Mohammad did some diagnostic tests and re-assured me that the car battery and alternator is still in good condition, thats great customer service!

Store set up is convenient and neat. I find what I need for my car or motorcycle almost every time. Cashiers arent around sometimes which can be bothersome.
