Twice now I have gotten ballpark prices for needed work that was outrageous. I needed a bearing in my front tire replaced and they told me it was going to cost $500-700. They swore up and down that in this type of car the bearing would be troublesome to remove, and that a press was needed to install the new one. Upon further research I found that no press was needed and that the bearing was sold already pressed into its housing and only held on with four bolts. The part cost me $120 and it took me one hour to install in my own driveway. A similar thing happened when I went to have my front shocks and struts replaced. Bay Area wanted to do it for like $900. They said the price was due to both pieces having to be installed as individual components. Napa sold the shocks/struts as one unit for $120 each and I also installed these in my driveway in under two hours. My biggest issue is that their staff tried to tell me that the parts I ended up purchasing didnt exist and that the work had to be done a certain way. Lord help anyone who goes there with little to no mechanical knowledge, they for certain will be taken for a ride. ***Also to add insult to injury several times in the past I have paid Bay Area to work on both of my vehicles, so it is not like Im a some new walk-in griping about prices. I will not be returning.

Ive been going to this shop for the past 10 years and didnt expect any problems. Walked in for a quote on tire installation. Salesman declined to quote me a price on mounting/balancing tires I would purchase myself and bring in for them to mount on my vehicle, even though they are the same exact tire brand/size installed by the factory. 2 years ago, they did this without hesitation. Its the same vehicle, same tires they installed last time that need to be replaced (I drive a lot of miles). I was informed its against policy to install customer supplied tires due to liability concerns. I was informed that due to the potential of them having a mounting problem and scratching a rim, they wouldnt do this. I informed them they might scratch a rim if I bought the same exact tires from them, too. I then thanked him for his time and left. I dont understand what happened but this is not the service I am used to from Bay Area. I used to recommend them to friends but will no longer.

I went in on a Friday afternoon and asked them to put a set of tires I bought and set of rims toeghtor they charged my 40 dollars to mount each tire so 160 in total it was all teenagers in the back and said they would have it done and told me to come back in a hour I picked up my tires and they sat in my truck for the weekend when I came back I found that two whole strips off wheel weights fell off. I am livid and I should of known not to get a group of punk kids on a Friday to mount tires if their bickering right in front of me about who is going to have to balanace the tires. Im going back tomorrow to have a nice conversation about them fixing their mistakes

Life time tire rotations are great. However they use an air wrench to torque which can warp rotors. They will not use any parts from a customer on anything which is also disappointing. Even the dealer will allow customer parts to be used. Tire prices are poor as well. They cant even come within $150 of a Tire Rack purchase and install at another tire reseller. Too bad as I would prefer to give a local business money, but only if they try to be competitive.

Wonderful experience. All of the guys were helpful and informative. I was very comfortable with their recommendations and the prices were good. I had an appointment to install some sway bar links and on the way to the shop my back brake light went out. They fixed everything for me and I was on my way in a half hour. I will definitely go back.

I have been coming to this location for many years with my work and personal vehicles and been completely satisfied, so when I needed to get a trailer tire repaired for my sons Scout troop, this was my first call. Brandon and the mechanics had me out the door in less than 15 minutes with a new tire at a fair price.

Trustworthy. Ive been using them for the past 8 years. Always willing to explain any issues the vehicles have. They found and fixed problems the dealer could not. I either do it myself, have a family member do repairs, or go to Bay Area Tire (Eldersburg). They do so much more than tires.

Ignorant clerk on the phone told my niece to get a job so she could buy 4 tires instead of repairing 1. I can’t believe the owners are aware of how much business they just lost as we are a HUGE ANGRY family! I promise there are many other places to buy tires in Westminster.

I got a flat right in front of their garage, and I was changing it out for a spare when the wheel got stuck on the axle. They lent me a giant rubber mallet to knock it loose, and didnt even try to sell me a new tire. Good guys.

They fit me in for a State Inspection with little to no notice. I explained my dilemma and without hesitation they told me to drop my vehicle off first thing the next morning.

Quick, friendly and above all, honest. I had a screw lodged in a tire and they had it out and patched in 2 hours. Will definitely be back!
