I was very pleased with the service I received at Prosperity. I took my 12 year old drapes to be cleaned. I was told it would take 2 weeks to complete the work. In just over one week I received a call from the owner. He asked some questions about the sun exposure on the drapes. The had drapes covered a large window that receives bright sun most of the day. He explained that there was dry rot on the curtains which he discovered while cleaning them. As a result, there were two small holes in the drapes on the sun side of the folds of one panel and other sun side areas where the fabric is weak by intact. They had completed cleaning and ironing. He advised that I could pick the drapes up that day and that there would be no charge for the cleaning. Since they completed the job was able to use the drapes until I found replacements. I very much appreciated the way the owner handled this difficult situation.

In my line of business a professional appearance is vital to conveying confidence. When approaching a client or entering boardroom my appearance needs to speak volumes long before I utter a single word. (However thats not to say that I pamper my wardrobe. Huge amounts of stress often leave rings of sweat in my shirts and sport coats. I wear my clothes hard.) With suits that cost as much as some peoples mortgage payment I cannot afford any mistakes with their maintenance. In the thirty plus years I have dealt with Prosperity they have never once disappointed me. My clothes are done perfect, on time, every time. Based upon the steady flow of customers I often see there Im not the only one who shares this opinion.

I have been a customer at Prosperity Cleaners for quite a long time. I was introduced to them by a family member when I needed to have my draperies cleaned. That is when I met Gary Cuda. He made my first experience of many years ago so pleasant. Not only was I more than satisfied with the quality I learned to expect, but the willingness to serve and help the customer was exemplary. This is one customer that is more than satisfied with Prosperity Cleaners. I count myself very fortunate that in the process, I got to know Gary Cuda. He has made it a pleasure having any dealings with him. I have been a very satisfied customer.

We had a house fire, and Prosperity Cleaners were used to clean all of our clothes, shoes, and drapes in the home. They did an excellent job, and made the process as easy as could be expected given the circumstances. They came on a Saturday over a holiday weekend and had a week of our work clothes cleaned the next day. The clothes looked brand new. They also helped us pick new blinds when ours were destroyed by the fire. They were very professional, and even brought a dog treat for our dog at every visit! I would highly recommend them for any job, big or small and will continue to use them for future business.

We just started using Prosperity Cleaners this year for home pick-up and delivery of our dry cleaning. The quality and customer service have been impeccable. My husband travels often for work so having shirts and pants cleaned and pressed on a regular basis has been a big help when it comes to packing every week. Now we dont have to worry about remembering to pick-up or drop-off things (or doing these things at home). When we learned that Prosperity is conscious of environmentally and people-friendly practices, we were sold.

Prosperity Cleaners is hands down among the best cleaners in the country (and I have lived many places, including downtown Chicago). I am extremely confident having them clean my designer clothing. Not only do my clothes always come back in pristine condition, they are awesome at removing stains. I am a stain magnet and have yet to send in a stained item that doesnt come back looking like new. In addition to being a great cleaners, they are really nice people. If you live in Pittsburgh, you are lucky!

I would not go to this place again. First, the lady working the counter was very unpleasant. She made me feel like I was wasting her time, meanwhile I was paying her! Most importantly, and what will keep me from ever going back, was that all of my clothes smelled like BO (body odor) when I got them back. I think thats great that they use organic materials, but not if my clothes are going to smell horrible when I get them back. Yuck!

Great service, good prices, open until 7pm some days, pull-up parking. I think they use environmentally safe cleaning agents too, so thats another bonus. My only complaint is that they dont do same day cleaning, but it doesnt seem like many places in PGH do...
