I dropped off a brand new formal dress to get the wrinkles out. Town and Country Dry Cleaners ruined my formal dress. Stating they did not know what happened to it and refused to take responsibility stating they followed the care instructions therefore they were not liable and pointed to a liability sign on a cork board. I asked to speak to the manager and the counter clerk stated she would let her know I wanted to talk to her. After 2 days and me threating civil action the counter clerk called and provided a phone number for the manager. The manager said the chiffon roses on the dress were applications that were glued on and they were not responsible for them in their dry cleaning machine and refused to pay for the repairs to my dress. When I dropped off the dress I only asked for the wrinkles to be removed from the dress. I told the counter clerk at the time it was a brand new dress and she and I both looked at the care symbols which reflected no dry cleaning. I will never use this cleaners again for many reasons, but primarily how I was treated. Dont use this cleaners they are not reputable or responsible. By the managers own written admission they knew the roses where there and put the dress in a washing machine. "After looking it over for spots, I found the care label. However, there was no way of knowing that all the petals would come off so completely, you would have never known they were there if you had not seen the dress beforehand. "

They are always rude when I am in there, often cant find items that Ive left, and sometimes make clothes dirtier than when I left them. I wont ever go back.
