I received post card claiming my car was due for a manufacturers recommended scheduled maintenance. The minor work they had done on my car two months prior mislead my judgement. My experience for the service their provided was horrible they charged me over five hundred bucks for work they had no clue of what it entailed (expect the oil change and basic visual inspection). When asked for a detailed list of what the manufacturers scheduled maintenance entailed they couldnt provide an answer, they searched the web for general scheduled maintenance and handed me a print out of it. Added to the bill were unnecessary replacements of parts that had been recently installed and were brand new from the dealer and were not listed or mentioned on the ridiculous print out. They claim to have a 5 star review rating according to their website. But the arrogance and lack of integrity in the service provided clearly shows the truth of this place. This place is close my Job, but not worth any future business from me. Its Lube and Brake shop, move on if you need any honest automobile expertise.

My vehicle went down Friday evening about an hour before German Auto Specialist closed. I call the shop and spoke to Steve. He told me that I can have my vehicle towed there, dropped off, and leave the key in the drop box. I did just that. I spoke with him later after he ran diagnostics on my vehicle and told me what went wrong, what I needed to replace, and what it would cost. I gave him the go ahead to order the parts and to get started. I also expressed my concerns about having my vehicle back in time to drive out of state to visit family for Christmas. I was contacted 3 days after we last spoke, it was Steve letting me know my vehicle was complete. Driving the vehicle out of state immediately after picking it up from a shop was a test in itself. Needless to say, I made it to my destination without an issue. Thank you to Steve and all at German Auto Specialists for saving this guys Christmas with family. Definitely recommend this shop and will definitely be back for future services.

I went here because it had good reviews on tire rack. I have no idea how they got these good reviews. When I arrived the had misplaced my appointment. They told me it would be an hour wait. I waited over two and a half. When I called to check up on my car they didnt answer the phone.....twice. They also didnt tell me that they dont even do their alignments in house until I was already there and it was to late and they had taken it somewhere else without my knowing. I asked for a total on my service and they said they wouldnt provide one normally and after a few minute debate they finally told me and it was nearly double what I had been told on the phone (to be fair it included "recommendations" for additional services like an alignment etc but this was not what I had agreed to when I called.) This was a very frustrating experience to say the least.

GermanAuto are honest, trustworthy mechanics. Although theyre indpt, theyre part of the "Bosch Car Service" Authorized Dealers where specific parts (& potentially labor) is honored by other authorized dealers. IMHO, they earn, & deserve, the "Specialist" title. For our Mercedes, GermanAuto really is 2nd-to-none. -- In late-2012, Ive had the same intermittent, recurring "Headlamp" warning light in the E350. They spent hrs of (labor) time to diagnose & fix. Charged me what they quoted (& a fraction of their actual time). That is honest, decent work. In early-Apr2013, I was stranded >1K miles from home, Mr Roberts emailed me a list of BOSCH authorized dealers close to my hotel & that 1st AutoRepair place I called told me that there were 3 alternators for my specific E320 car-model (all others went w/ the 1 std alternator for 90+% of Mercedes).

THE GOOD: Have been going here for 12 years. Excellent know-how in the service and maintenance of BMWs. They can ALWAYS "fix it". Prices are always lower than the dealer. Very honest about the problem with the car; never make up or invent problems. Fairly fast repairs. Will sometimes let you bring your own parts. Friendly staff. Have free WiFi and coffee in waiting area. You get routine service reminder letters sent to your home. Can easily arrange rental cars with a third party agency. THE BAD: Sometimes service of dubious benefits are touted, for example, transmission flush, air intake cleaning, etc. Service prices are fair, but not cheap. Dont have free rentals. Waiting are is small and cramped (especially compared to the dealers). Location in a crappy area with no food or shopping available. Hard to get a last minute appointment.

I just got a bunch of suspension and drive train work done for my second visit there, and will be going back in a couple weeks for my third visit for an oil change and check-up. It took longer than expected to get the work done, but mostly due to getting the motor mounts replaced as well, which required taking the front end of the car off. I got new shocks, struts, springs installed, along with control arms and tie rods, plus the motor, snub, and transmission mounts replaced, plus an alignment after the suspension change. The price was well under what I would have paid going to the dealer for the work. I plan on continuing to go there for service as long as I have my car, and potentially afterward, depending on what I get next.

Im currently sitting in the lobby of GAS as theyre fixing an issue caused by Pep Boys of East Norriton and the burden of dealing with Benz related drama is off of my shoulders. I had a horrible experience at Pep Boys and theyre fixing the messy oil change that they started. John was so helpful in explaining what was wrong with my ML350 and how it needed to be rectified. He even wrote up an assessment to give to the Pep Boys and offered to explain at length to their service manager about the issue. In addition to that, he gave me a voucher for a car wash to try and get rid of the excess oil that was covered on my undercarriage. The icing on the cake? An adorable dog! Youve acquired a customer for life, GAS. Thank you so much!

These guys are the best!!!! They squeezed me in on the last day of the month for an inspection - text me and called to let me know I needed new tires. Sent me a picture of the tires as well. And was up front the one tire had about 50% but the other were dangerously worn. Called his sales guy right away while I was on hold to get me an AWESOME price on new tires. Explained to me (a female that knows nothing about tires) all about the brand he was recommending to save a little money. He uses them himself and has many good reviews about it. Overall super friendly people who are very helpful! Ill be a regular customer for sure and will highly recommend them to all my German riding friends :) Thanks guys!

Simply put, theyre the best. JR and his team are super knowledgable, honest and do top notch work. As a car nerd myself, I appreciate their expertise and personalized service. They are very sympathetic to the plight of owning an older German car and stand behind their work 100%, and their prices are very reasonable considering. Ive used them for several major repairs on my Audi, which are notoriously difficult cars to work on, and have been very impressed. I wish every business I dealt with was as competent and honest as they are. I highly recommend them.
