My husband and I rented from Binkley Jr for almost 4 years. We got screwed over by the people who owned the home, NOT Binkley. We would call in our concerns or if something was wrong and they would never call Binkley back or try to resolve any of the issues. They consistently sent us the w/s/t bill MONTHS late and we had to pay late fees on top of it all. Binkley himself tried to help as much as possible. In my experience, if you pay on time and are respectful, you will get that in return. The fee for background checks is to ween out the people who arent seriously considering buying/renting. It is a steep price when youre just looking and are unsure of whether or not you will be using their services. I do also agree that a warm, welcoming, knowledgeable receptionist would have been nice. I feel as though he was just having a hard time finding the right fit for his style. We would have rented from him again if there had been anything in our price range. I would recommend Binkley Jr. to others.

Horrible customer service!! After calling and showing interest in a home for rent I was told to come in to their main office to get a key to go to the home MYSELF. I was also told Id have to leave my drivers lisence and $20. Upon arrival to the office I was given a key with instructions on how to use it and that it was difficult (which was an understatement!!!). I had 1 hour to return as she stated as well. When I got there I did not know that the rest of my hour there would be spent trying to get into this home! I called the woman at the office and she proceeded to tell me how someone used it earlier without problems (which I find hard to believe!) I even had a neighbor help me! I wasted time away from work just to come back to the office and drop off their damn key! There was no offer to come help me or anything! No, "Im so sorry, let me help you". Nothing. This was my first and last experience with Binkley jr.

I had been searching for a new place to live about 6 months ago. I toured and loved 2 of the apartments that were available for rent and was seriously ready to give them the deposit. However, BinkleyJr didnt let me complete their rental application. They wanted proof of my own income. Although I was unemployed (& actively looking for a part-time job while waiting for my SSD benefits appeal hearing to get scheduled), my brother would be paying my rent in the meantime. Their policy flat out excludes cosigners - my brother has an excellent credit score and steady income from his job in upper management in the financial field. Oh well.

The girls working in this agency are unfriendly, unkind and useless. After visiting two houses and spending almost 3 hours, I was told that I cant apply because my wife is not able to visit the house and their policy requires that. Does it make sense? They dont show you the houses but you have to go to pick up the keys at their office, drive to the house and bring the keys back. Driving without your driving license because they keep it. Very comfortable. Dont waste your time, search somewhere else.

The Secretary was very rude , unfriendly, and had a bad attitude. I felt like she was racial profiling me and my wife after we spent a couple of hrs looking at apartments filled out paper work for her to not give me the apartment that I was hoping for because I didnt bring proof of income when I told her I just started a new job and my wife been working at her job for s couple of years dont waste your time with this company they unprofessional, poor attitude, and rude.

The customer service of this company is horrible!!! They dont understand who their customers are, and how to service them. They are out of date in their way of thinking and have horrible communication skills! Sometimes the littlest things communicated can make all the difference. They desperately need more assistance, and to be come more organized!! I wish the word FAIR wasnt in this review because POOR is the best term of the way they service all their customers.

I called to inquire about an apartment and the very first thing she said was there is a no pet policy. They were not open for negotiation. I cant name five people I know that dont have pets.
