This facility seems very clean and well-kept. The people at the front desk where helpful in every way, until there was a real issue. My mother is moving from Maryland to Pennsylvania and has to store her stuff for up to a year. Both she and I have an allergy to mothballs. On our tour we were told that the mothball smell was being taken care of. We have since been back twice and the place seems to of gotten worse. When we discussed it with them they said theres nothing they can do. However it is in the agreement that you not put mothballs in your storage unit. Therefore they should be doing something about the person who has more balls. It is highly disappointing that our stuff is going to smell like mothballs when they specifically told us that was something that they were taken care of.

Mike at the front desk is nice and helpful, so this star is for him. Their accounting team does not know how to keep records and add in partial payments, so dont bother asking. You can pay online 2 month in advance but not able to pay any back payments, only pay in full, which means if you are late one or more days you have to pay late fees on top of bill, In Full. A little more compassion from these people would be nice, a member of my family had just passed away. The owner must be heartless because even after explaining, they deactivated my code and sold property. I had a receipt of my payments which was paid In Full including the outrageous amount of money for being three days late.

Great facility and awesome, professional and very helpful staff. We had to use the facility due to the unfortunate death of a family member, and we knew that emptying the unit would be a horrific challenge. The staff (Tara, specifically!) was phenomenal in helping us in always being available to answer our many questions and were extra vigilant with security. On one occasion, she knew someone had accessed the unit but hadnt recognized the vehicle -- she went out of her way to walk through and confirm that the access was legitimate, and that I was ok. They made a very difficult process a bit easier.

As a first-time renter, I found that Metro Self Storage seemed to suit my needs. After reading many reviews, I stopped by Metro and met Tara and Mike. Tara gave me a tour and explained the process and helped me to decide just what size unit I needed. The attentive staff, security and cleanliness of the facility helped me to decide to rent there. So far, so good!

I checked out the online site and went in to talk to someone and the lady there was able to answer any questions I had. She gave me a tour of the facility and was a complete professional. The rates arent bad and its really nice and clean. Access hours are great!

Great employees, always willing to answer questions. Clean and safe units. Passcode to enter the units. Few parking spots but not crowded. Hand carts to transport items. On the cheaper side (moderate) of self storage businesses.
