The gutters around my unit fell off about 9 to 10 months ago. When it rains, the water pours right into my unit. I have had to move items away from the door area because they were getting wet and starting to rust. I have contacted the office many times and was told that the job was given a work order and is out to bid and could take months. I was given the name and the number of the district manager to file a complaint. I have left numerous messages and was never given the courtesy of a return phone call. Now the mailbox is permanently full. I am a paying tenant and I should not have to worry about my unit getting water in it when it rains. This had been going on for months and nothing has been done about it. All I get is the run around. I have been getting screws in my tires for the past few months. I could not figure out where they were coming from until now. There is one tenant who does his work there on the property. This is not acceptable. I have had to have so many plugs and eventually new tires put on my truck because all of these screws and nails in my tires. This tenant should not be allowed to do work on the property in the first place, and if he is going to do this he must be made to clean up his mess! How many other tenants have had screws in their tires? I am sure I am not the only one! Not acceptable.

After having a unit with public storage for 10 years or more, my wife became severely Ill to where she nearly died and for 2 months I was unable to pay my storage and was told they were going to sell all of our belongings if we didnt pay by a certain date. I was able to get the money together and showed up at opening the morning they told new I had until to pay only to find out they sold my unit the day before and would not return Abby of my belongings. I lost all of my kids baby clothes, toys and cribs but that is only minor compaired to the thousands of dollars of tools I was storing there for my home renovation business which was temporarily on hold while my family went through such trying times. So once My wife did start to recover I had to struggle to try to rebuild a business that I spent 15 years building and was sold off by public storage for a 1/32 of is worth. I tried to communicate with public storage through all of this but I was only met with more aggravation and the feeling that this progress of selling off the these units is really the backbone of this organization. In my 40 years on this planet I have never encountered a business as uncompasionate and so willing to just take what someone has worked so hard for and sell it off for whatever they can profit while the owner struggles. Its absolutely inhumane.

To whom it may concern Id like to tell a story about customer service or self storage at 950 Jamesway Southampton Pennsylvania. When I walked into the office I was greeted by a young lady who was with another customer she had a wonderful smile and she asked me how she could help me i inqiured about my reservation whuch i had cancelled.Molly said with a smile I could help you with that may I ask for just a moment of your time obvious to finish up with her customer. After her quick look she found my original and immediately checked for availability we were in luck I asked Molly to show me the storage locker the first locker was too small I decided to go to the next she immediately showed me the next largest that particular one had leaked water with that in mind Molly asked me if she she would mind taking the golf cart I said I was comfortable with that we fou b day a locker to address my needs ask Selva questions and Molly had the answer.

As a potential buyer and now a tenant for a space on sight I continue to be more than happy with the customer service I continue to receive each visit to the Public Storage location. Even before I came in the door the Property Manager, Crystal guided me with a calming and assuring tone to direct me to the location. Once inside, I explained my situation and Crystal was able to recommend the best space for my storage needs that I felt really good about. After I purchased the space, Crystal continued to follow through by going above and beyond after hours to fix the broken lock on my space and allow twenty-four access to the gate, therefore; I would be able store all my important items in the unit without the burden of time constraint. Tana was very friendly and helpful with my signing up for storage. Being in the military, I have used Public Storage many times in many states. Staff is very helpful. The facilities could use a lot of improvements for example in order to enter your access code, you have to get out of your vehicle and walk to the fence. What about during the rain and snow. I know the staff tries to open the gate from inside, but that is not really security. Second, the facility needs to maintain one of the two keys to the cylinder locks on the units just in case someone forgets their key or is lost. Key control box is not that much work. There is always room for some improvement in all businesses. Over all I like what I see about the storage units. Prices are great compared to others I have checked out.

Clean, convenient facility with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Prices are slightly better than the other local storage areas but there is much more space to maneuver and load/unload. You only need to give a couple days notice before ending your storage rental and management will even pro-rate a unit to help meet your needs. My only complaint would be where the storage unit light is located. Having the light in the back of the unit makes getting to it very difficult if the unit is filled. A basic switch or a longer string, conveniently placed, would be a big improvement. If youre looking for flexibility and a quality storage unit at a good price, this is your place, hands down.

Chelsea Hopper was extremely helpful with my search for a storage unit. I found her quite capable of providing information to me in a manner that I was able to easily understand. The cost for the size unit I needed was much more reasonable then others that I either looked at or attempted to look at. She took me on a tour of the property so I could best judge how big a unit I would need to fit the need that I have. She was able to give me suggestions on insurance, supplies needed for preparing for storage and methods of payment. I found her knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She was genuinely happy with her work and eager to serve her customers. It was a pleasure dealing with her.
