If youre unlucky enough to live in Newport, Rhode Island and be OBLIGATED to license Cox as a provider, my sincere apologies. Not only is the internet spotty at best, the channel packages a sad rip off, but the customer service and install technicians are the poster for american GED dead-end incompetence. Ruined my rug and wall on the install, showed no remorse, and the manager tried to tell me it was my fault for asking for the install. Comcast, weee neeeeed youuu.

I thought there were laws that prohibited monopolies but if you live on Aquidneck Island and you want cable tv and internet, you have no choice but Cox. Probably the worst hardware, network and customer service of any company in America.

Terrible phone service. You should simply be able to speak with a human being about whether or not you can drop off a piece of equipment without having to be routed and re-routed through this auto attendant service.
