DO NOT BRING YOUR PORSCHE OR HIGH-END VEHICLE HERE!!! I brought my 2008 Porsche Cayenne S to Elite Auto after a 5 minute conversation with a company representative during which I was explicitly assured that Elite Auto was authorized to execute all maintenance associated with the 100,000 mile warranty on my certified vehicle. The service (oil change, etc.) was fine, but cost exactly (to the penny) what the Porsche dealership normally charged with none of the usual perks associated with dealership service. 500 miles later, the "Check Engine" light came on. I called Elite Auto, confirmed that they were authorized to execute certified warranty repairs and brought the vehicle in. The mechanic (nice guy, competent) explained that diagnostics were inconclusive but that the Porsche dealership would most likely recommend a $2-3K "shotgun approach" repair requiring 8.5 maintenance hours. I reminded him that I had a certified vehicle with 11,000 miles remaining on the warranty and he recommended that the work be performed immediately. I then spoke with the office manager who informed me that Elite Auto was not authorized to perform Porsche warranty repairs. The gentleman in the office behind her (to whom I had spoken on the telephone) came out and argued that the company could do certified Porsche repairs. After a 3 minute argument, he returned to the office and the office manager turned back to me and told me that I must have given the person on the phone incorrect information because no one at Elite Auto would have told me that they could do certified Porsche warranty repairs...as if I had not witnessed her argument with the other manager. She spent another minute or two explaining to me why I was wrong before I was able to excuse myself and leave. It turned out that the mechanic had already reset the "Check Engine" light, thus preventing me from bringing the vehicle to the Porsche dealership for service. Therefore, there is a good chance that I will be responsible for paying a $2,000-$3,000 repair cost out of pocket as a result of being misinformed by the staff at Elite Auto. To add insult to injury, Elite Auto charged me $125 for diagnostics that would have been covered under my warranty, had I brought my vehicle to a Porsche dealership. The bottom line is that Elite Auto effectively misrepresented their services which cost me significant time, effort and increased my liability for expensive follow-on repairs. They made no attempt to take any ownership of the issue or to resolve it and were both rude and aggressive when I expressed my concerns. This was one of only two really bad experiences I have had in nearly 2 decades of high-performance vehicle ownership. Therefore, I must recommend that Porsche owners or owners of other high-end / luxury automobiles avoid Elite Auto. (I am giving Elite Auto 2 stars instead of 1 because general maintenance was performed satisfactorily during my first visit.)

As owner of Elite Auto Repair I would like to comment on the vindictive comments made by Mr.Scott Palumbo, Mr Palumbo is over sensitive to his last visit at our place not mentioning how difficult he was to deal with right from the start. first of all when he called and indicated he had a warranty he never stated it was a pre-owned Porsche certified warranty in which only the dealer can redeem. he also mentioned our oil service was exactly the same price as the dealer. I believe that oil services are the biggest old marketing trick in the book that dealers use all the time. its designed to get you in the door at the lower price then clunk you over the head once you get there with additional work! try comparing our prices at the dealer on anything else. as far as charging him 1 hour diagnoses yes we did, reason? we spent over 2 hours on his Porsche testing components to see if they operated normally, and came to some useful information to help him make good decisions and we did clear the code, in which if the problem comes back we know we have an intermittent problem that will have to be traced down and catch the faulty component as it fails. the dealer would have followed the exact protocol its common proceedure so there was no wasted time to diagnose. Mr Palumbo will forever blame us for clearing his codes even if his check engine light comes on two years later. keep in mind he has many miles left until his warranty expires. We at Elite go out of our way to be sure we are honest, accurate, and do everything possible to make sure our customers are not getting the short end of the stick. just ask the many satisfied people who come here for our services, or just check our reviews you will see that this is true. the internet is a great research tool but in the wrong hands can be a good weapon for some vindictive people who just want to cause problems and try to smear the integrity of a good business. I personally guarantee that we go out of our way to satisfy our clients and friends who come here. if you are reading this please come see for yourself how we operate. in fact mention you seen this blog after the repairs are done to keep us honest so you know we arent doing anything different from day to day operations and get 10% off just for trying us! I will prove to you that we do not run our business as Mr. Palumbo says we do. by the way I just got a oil service coupon in the mail for a 5.99 from a very well known Toyota dealer Hmm..... Fantastic service! First of all every single person I spoke to, smiled, and listened to what I had to say. Their customer services trainer is outstanding. Second the work done to my car was exactly what I needed, no more and no less at a very affordable rate. I came in to have the handle replaced on my Sequoias back hatch. The dealership down the street wanted $800 to take apart the door and fix it. Elite did it for $250 and in less time. I am a customer for life! Jesse

The staff at Elite Auto Repair has taken excellent care of my Acura MDX. With the trouble I was having with the shifter in my Acura, I was afraid that I needed a new transmission or at least some serious transmission work. I was pleasantly surprised when Elite got my shifter problem fixed for not a lot of money. My Acura has over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs like knew thanks to Elite Auto!
