I was in an accident in February amidst the worst winter in several years, and filed a claim with GEICO in order to get my car fixed. I needed to take my car here since this was one of the closest places for the claims adjuster to assess the damage on my car and it is one of their Auto Repair Xpress locations. I had previously also obtained some independent quotes on the damage of the car and this place was the cheapest. This place is definitely not known for their customer service. (Maybe they were overloaded at this time of year with all the accidents going on this winter.) I dropped my car off on 2/18/15 and the repair was delayed 3 times from the original completion date of 2/25/15. Each time I had to chase them down by calling them numerous times to receive a status update, even though they said they would give me a call back. I spoke with Sean and heres the timeline of my conversations. 2/20 - Sean originally told me that my car would be done miraculously, but he actually mixed up my car with someone elses. This is a great start... 2/25 - He told me they had ordered imperfect hoods for my car and the new date would be Friday 2/27. Ok no big deal, just a little annoyed. 2/27 - Unexpected delays... now it wont be done until next Monday/Tuesday. I have to reschedule my oil change again now. 3/3 - Finally they admit that they ordered the WRONG parts last Thursday, which they should have told me in the first place. It wont be done now until Friday 3/6. 3/6 - Received a call from the GEICO claims adjuster that it is lo and behold finally done. Despite the frustrating customer service experience, upon initial inspection of the repair everything looks good for now. I will update the review if in the long run it proves otherwise. They also cleaned the exterior and interior of the car. The overall finished product looks alright so the rating evens out to 3 stars. Not sure if I would want to go back again since its also not the most convenient location to drive to from Newton.

I have been a customer for many years. My experience ranges from normal maintenance, just getting an inspection sticker and oil change, to a full bodywork one side of my Toyota Sienna- after the car almost rolled into a mill pond. Years ago my 12 year old Plymouth Voyager made bad motor sounds which I ignored as long as possible, finally I brought the car in , fully expecting to hear bad news. I got charged $2.50 for capping up my oil, and scolded about getting the oil levels so low , The reason for the sounds of the motor was a detached air hose. The reason why I am writing a review now is that I brought my husbands car in last week because the catalytic heat shield had rusted off. Exceptional could have charged me for an expensive repair, instead the answer was: " you do not really need the shield, safe the money".

Claim was done through GEICO. GEICO has an office inside the shop and are very nice. Didnt really deal with the shop people. Got my estimate online and a call when the car was ready for pickup (within timeframe). Repair was %98 perfect from the outside. I was surprised to see a 3FT long foam insert on the front passenger seat, that probably should have either been tossed or installed. I didnt bother getting an explanation on that. I saw my 3rd row seat was put to use, and to my happy SURPRISE only 1 extra mile on the odometer! So a few of the techs prob piled in it for a lunch run. They fixed an existing small dent that was rusted on an area of the vehicle close to the new damage, which made me happy. Overall, Im happy and would go back. Theres more good to be said about this place than bad.

Brought in my car after an accident and advised that the heat was not working any longer. I was not told at any point that this was an issue in any of the updates I received. Fast forward to them telling me my car is ready for pick up and lo and behold the heat still does not work. People working at the desk have no notes about this and have to call the repairer on his cell at his home. I get told that the damage was not covered by insurance and they could do an estimate if I wanted repair. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I ALREADY PAID THEM AND THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THEM MORE TO FIX THE ISSUE I TOLD THEM ABOUT TO BEGIN WITH. BECAUSE YOU KNOW IN A MASSACHUSETTS WINTER YOU DONT NEED HEAT RIGHT? These guys are snakes that dont bother to tell you if there is an issue. Never use this place.

Bad body shop that uses bad parts on cars. Also, repairs the car poorly. I have the car still going to the dealer Subaru to fix it correctly. I recommend for anyone to get a Post Repair Inspections are an important component in vehicles safety. The rear passenger door needs to be adjusted correctly or the body shop exceptional autobody pull the car out to much when they did the body work. Had the dealership and there preferred body shop at exceptional body shop cut alot corners. Also management and owners do not care about safety this car should have been done correctly. Do you trust them to work on your car. The car rusting where repair was done by theme. What should be settlement for bad body work by body shop that failed to stand behind their own work.

Stay away! Stay far away! Their attention to customer service is horrible! If I could give zero stars I would! I had called ahead of time to make sure I could stop by to get a estimate - informed them that I would be there in about an hour and a half. I drove almost an hour to get to them. When I got there I was told, "sorry the guy who does the estimates is not here". I asked them why they told me to come then and they looked at me with a blank stare!! They didnt offer any solutions, or work around or acknowledgment of how they were wrong. If this is their respect of my time and needs and I havent even started doing work with them, god help me if I did business with them! - when quite frankly I am stuck with them at that point!

if i can give a 5 star for front desk I will because they were awesome and very nice, but the person who was dealing with my car did a bad job.. told him about a few light not working after the accident, told me that has nothing to do with the accident, i was not satisfied on the job they did on my bumper, they did a bad job with matching the color with car.. and just did a bad job replacing the bumper, it was not put on correctly.. employee was giving me a hard time when I told him I was not satisfied, he kept telling me that my insurance was not going to have them change the color of my bumper, he was just awful.. will not be taking my car here again..

Have needed AAA service twice in the last month. Both times exceptional was dispatched to assist me and on both occasions the drivers trully were exceptional. They were prompt in responding and very professional. Both drivers went out of there way to help and try and save me money. The first driver responded to my flat tire and i was unable to access my trunk to get my spare rather than just hook me up and go like most places would do the driver was able to get my trunk open and even installed my spare for me. Great company and great service people.
