These guys are untrustworthy and try to take advantage of visitors. I drove my car in from Atlanta. Had car trouble to the tune of jerking and smoking. Thought it was an oil leak but the guy there said it was a transmission. Said I needed a completely new transmission and that he would ship one new from the freight. This line by itself is a scam. Most times they new bring in a new transmission. They simply rebuild the old one and never show the customer the "old" one cause its still in the car. Anyway, the new transmission was quoted at $3,500. Crazy. So, I parked the car. Towed it back to atlanta using U-haul and took it to a trusted guy. He put his computer reader on my car and instantly knew my transmission was fine. All told he replaced two sensors, flushed my transmission, and capped me off with new fluid for less then a dinner out. Anyway, dont trust these guys. My experience was horrible and clearly he either doesnt know what hes doing or it taking advantage of visitors. I guess he figured either way he would never see us again. P.s. to a hammer everything looks like a nail.

My wife and I have trusted our vehicles to the staff at Beachside Tire and Auto for many years. Sam is the only mechanic that I know that takes the time, patience and due diligence to keep your vehicle in top working order. You will not find a better automotive shop on Hilton Head. Every person that I have recommended to Beachside Tire and Auto have told me that Sam goes the extra mile to make his customers feel comfortable. While visiting Hilton Head Island, my air conditioner stopped working. After checking google, Beachside Tire & Auto was one of the highest rated auto repair shops on the list. The ratings were really great so I decided to take my car there. Sam was very nice and was able to make me an appointment that day. They checked my car and found that I needed a new compressor. Sam handled everything with my warranty and issued another for the part he put in. Same definitely went the extra mile by scheduling an Uber to take us back to our condo and pick us back up the next day! Now the a/c works great! Very, very pleased!!!

We went to Hilton Head to spend the weekend with my parents at a Tennis tournament. Unfortunately my 4RUNNER decided not to cooperate. My parents told me to call Beachside as the had used them in the past and were great people. We opted to have the car towed further than normal to get it to them vs taking it somewhere else closer. They diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and got it back up and running. They also gave us a loaner car so we werent inconvenienced by the incident any more. The guys there are trustworthy and provide great QUICK service. I recommend them if you live there or traveling like us.

This week I came to this shop not having a clue what was wrong with my car. The gentleman who helped me out was amazing at answering all of my questions and explaining to me what we could do. I walked in, waited about 7 minutes before I handed over my keys and 25 minutes later the battery was replaced and I was on my way! The friendliest staff, comfortable waiting room, and the experts that work here really make this not just your average machanic shop! Thank you so much I cant tell you how much I appreciate you guys helping me out! Hopefully I wont be back soon, but if I have a problem I know just where to go!

BSTA has been my "go to mechanic" for years! BIll and Sam have taken incredible care of us for years. THere was one time where they ordered a part for my wifes car, and we had forgotten about it. 6 months later we come in for somethign routine and Bill says, "You want me to put that door handle on?" I couldnt belevie he remembered, never mind even hung ontot he part! They are like family to me and to many others. One of the hardest things to find in this day and age is a honest reliable mechanic. You have just found your new one. Beachside Tire and Auto is great!

Ive been going to Beachside tire and auto for about 4 years now and I can say that they are definitely my first choice for automotive maintenance and repair in the Hilton head and Bluffton area. Quick turnaround and honest advice as well as quality work. I once had them replace an alternator that later turned out to be a dud, and they replaced it free of charge honoring their warranty. I would highly recommend Beachside to my friends and family as well as anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy shop.

Google reviews led us to beachside auto while we were on vacation and needed someone to look at our vehicle. we made an appt, (they squeezed into our busy vacation schedule), took a look "under the hood", and let us know what they found. we were in a pickle, they could have took us to the cleaners, but they were open/honest and gave us a choice, ultimately to fix our not to (nothing safety critical). they were also good enough to not charge for the investigation... thanks beachside!

One thing I get stressed out about it my car! I always had to deal with repair shops trying to get me to fix more things than needed and trying to charge me an arm and a leg for services. Anytime my car dashboard would light up I would cry. I moved here five years ago and all of my co workers recommended Beachside Tire so I took my car there and I havent gone to anywhere else! They are honest, they are fair, and they explain things well so you really understand what the issues are.

Beachside has been my "go to" auto mechanic shop since I moved to Hilton Head almost 3 years ago. They are always prompt on their appointments, very fair in their assessments, presenting the relevant issues of any work that is proposed from all angles and leaving any decisions in my hands -- no pressure. I trust them! Theyre not the least expensive, however they are reliable and operate with impeccable ethical standards. I feel strongly about giving them my highest recommendation.

I first took my car in because I had a coupon for an oil change. I keep bringing my car into them for routine maintenance because of the service and the pricing is very reasonable. They let me know what items are coming up for service for the next time I come in, they answer any questions I have, and making an appt that fits my schedule is easy. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and even the waiting area is nice. I would highly recommend them.

I got a flat tire when I was on vacation with my in-laws in Hilton Head, where an ice cream costs $6. I figured this would be a very expensive location to find tires. Yikes! And really, I didnt want to replace just 1, since they were all pretty worn down. I called around, and Beachside got me 4 new tires at a great price. They turned things around in no time. And the final price was less than they quoted on the phone! Great job!
