WOW . . . These guys went above and beyond for us. My father-in-law and I were visiting Hilton Head Island. He is from Texas and VERY nervous about whether his vehicle was going to return home without trouble. So we decided to have H & H check the car out. Here is the best part: It was about 2PM on Friday afternoon. These guys totally got the scene and told us to bring the vehicle in right away. By 5:30PM . . . the vehicle was totally fixed !!! This shop experience was one of the best I ever had. And, if you need a shop to help you, definitely give them a shot - they were outstanding, clean, and totally polite, with tremendous professionalism! Great auto repair shop :-)))

Well let me put it this way. When I was residing on HHI I thougt the world of HHI and wrote reviews to that affect. Then Ihad to leave HHI before getting the plugs on my Solorao replaced and went to an independent shop that was highly recommend in the state to where I had moved. Before leaving HHI H&H had quoted me a price of $360 dollar and nearly 3 hours to change them because of this and that complexity to change the plugs. I got a D- in 7th Grade shop so I knew from nothing about autos. I ask the independent shop where I am now about the cost to do the same plug change...$176.00 and it was doe in about an hour. Take it for what its worth.

Actually, when probably no one else could help Betsy find a car, Scott of H & H Autos came to the rescue with a nicely maintained used Mercedes station wagon. This well taken care of carhas every feature from leather, a CD player, and sun roof with an almost flawless exterior. It rides well and gives her plenty of room for things like groceries, surfboards, or bikes. It was a unique find for Betsy and I feel confident Scott can do the same for anyone. I have known him for over twenty years as a professional in the car business. Go visit him when you are searching for a quality used car.

We had always used them for oil changes and non-dealer repairs. But, one time they quoted me on new brakes (which they had installed 10,000 miles prior). Their quote was about $75 more than it was 10,000 miles prior. I checked with the Honda dealer and their quote was about 10% less than I paid H & H to do it previously. When I asked them why the brakes went out in 10,000 miles, they had a lame excuse. Word to the wise---get a 2nd. quote from your dealer. But, their service is always on time and no problems (other than what is mentioned above).

I give 5 stars to how wonderful of a job they did on my car, but 2 stars for their customer service. I called this morning so that I can get my car serviced before I go on a road trip & the man that I spoke to on the phone was very rude. Theyre shop is booked up until tomorrow and as the man on the phone put it, "thats too bad for you isnt it". I reacted calmly and still dont understand why I received an attitude from someone whose supposed to help customers. I never had problems with their customer service till now. Theyre snooty!

Jan and I came to the Island 12 years ago and had my classic (now) 95 E320 convertible serviced after driving from San Francisco...still using H & H today and recommending them to anyone that asks me...and being the head of an Island HOA...many ask. Two thing in particular keep me coming back..1st, they know what theyre doing but 2nd, I have absolutely no hesitation of telling them do whatever is necessary...if its a $10 fix or $500 I know its necessary and the least expensive possible.

Since I moved here two years ago, I have had the opportunity to use H&H four times with three different cars... Each experience was excellent. The most recent trip was for my daily driver. I had them read and respond to the "service soon" dash light and a number of general maintenance items. Their handling of the matter was polite, informative and professional... They are the best. H&H has been our provider for 5 years. Last month, I had them do some work on my daughters car. They made an error on it that caused the timing belt to break and ruin some of the valves. They didnt hesitate to make it right, even though the cost of the fix was more than the worth of the car. They did the work for free. Love these guys. We will be forever loyal.

Vacationed for a week in Hilton Head, Check transmission light came on 3 days into the trip, called H&H, they took the car in immediately, diagnosed the issue (not a new transmission thank goodness) got the part and repaired it all in 24 hours. Very responsive, courteous and quality work. Would recommend to anyone on the Island

I called to asked about a diagnostic on my A/C, the man was extremely snippy on the phone, maybe because Im a woman and he didnt like my questions, maybe he was having a bad morning? Either way, it prompted me to take my business elsewhere. Try Bluffton Tire and Auto in Bluffton. They are reasonable, nice people.
