The ABSOLUTE worst cleaning experience. From incapable employees, no communication between office managers and their staff, and unhelpful costumer service. My house is 1800 sqft and rather "easy" to clean. I was excited to schedule a Deep Cleaning package. The office manager recommended 6 hours for the size of my home. The employee showed up 8:40AM 10 minutes late and was chatty. She didnt get started until 30 minutes after she was suppose to and still was going to use that as my cleaning time (already upset). I popped in and out of the house with my 2 toddlers to try to stay out the way, and started to realize my house wasnt looking any cleaner. She didnt clean under my tall bed, didnt clean my shower walls, didnt clean the fingerprints off my doors, didnt clean the baseboards, the inside of my toilet, barely dusted (didnt move objects, just dusted around it). At about 1pm I realized there was no she was going to be finished in an hour. I even tried HELPING her clean by moving my kitchen table and shaking rugs. I gave her a chance to pick up the pace and correct mistakes but she was completely oblivious to her lack of inexperience and laziness. It wasnt even a BASIC clean let a lone the deep clean I would be paying for. I called the company and they said they would send a trainer to clean for 4 hours and once again I thought well maybe she can get it done in that amount of time but I dont think they realized how AWFUL of a job their first employee had done. The trainer came and was furious with the lack of cleanliness that was done a day prior. She worked so hard but wasnt able to complete but half of my downstairs area. She even called HR and said it was unfair and that they should of booked her the 6 hours but she couldnt stay and complete the job. So Im left with dirt all over the second half of my home and dirt all upstairs. She told me I should call the office, I did and all they were willing to do was to send someone for 2 hours next week (its friday). That would barely even get all my floors vacuumed and moped let a lone finish the DEEP clean that should of been done all at once. I am furious that my time and energy has been completely wasted. Do not use this company.

I have been a client of Brighthouse for about 8 weeks engaging their services for 2 full 8 hour days per week. I have been invoiced for all of their services and have paid the invoices promptly upon receipt. After less than 8 weeks of service, I have to admit that a 1 star is overrating the services that I have received. First they assigned a gentleman who had not been well trained. Since he had a good attitude and was willing to work, I took off from work 2 full days the first week he worked for me and then paid a former housekeeper for several more days to work with him so that he could learn the routine of housekeeping. I was a bit disappointing with the training but was willing to make the investment for the long haul. During these 8 weeks, Brighthouse regularly short paid the individual who was working for me and he even had to leave my job early (without any reduction in Brighhouses rate) in order to pick up correct paychecks. Unfortunately, the individual who had worked for me has decided to move on. He gave Brighthouse 3 weeks notice and Brighthouse failed to inform me of this situation. When I found out and contacted Brighthouse to ask them what the transition plan was, one of the managers stated that I would have to talk to the owner. I have waited over 24 hours for the owners phone call. When I called Brighthouse back, the owner had "already left for the day" as was my experience when I called yesterday mid-day. Today he was too busy with other clients to call me. It appears that Brighthouse expects homeowners to do all of the work (i.e., make timely payments and to train their staff) and to retrain staff since there is no transition plan. Unfortunately I am a busy with a career outside of my home and cannot use my time to wait for Brighthouse to answer my calls and way too busy to keep retraining people who leave because they fail to pay them for the work that they have done. I will begin my search for a housekeeper once more but definitely without Brighthouse!

I wrote the below review based on service done two days ago. Now even though they messed up once, the owner/manager of the company really stepped up, and promptly, to make sure the mistake was corrected. The company definitely takes pride in what they do, and they do not want to leave customers unhappy. A second crew came out yesterday and truly gave meaning to the term "deep clean". It took three people working half the day, but they really went above and beyond. They not only took care of the areas that were missed the day before, but went out of their way to basically re-do the entire home. If Id come home the first day to the results they left yesterday, I would have truly been blown away at the value. They have good equipment and good people, but it seems like from the first experience, there may be problems at times on prioritizing work in a limited time frame. All told though, my house is cleaner than its ever been since I moved in. I was so satisfied with the service that I paid *extra* after seeing the results. Its just a shame it took two visits and intervention from the manager to get us there. [[[from Tuesday, 13 August 2013] "Wow, when someone advertises "deep clean", but then cant accomplish the simple stuff I can do, thats beyond substandard. The entire point is to make it look clean, and to *not* make me finish the job! Simple things like dusting and cleaning the floor of the busiest rooms in the house were not completed. Total waste of money. Theres no way Im paying them their entire fee. They earn one star for having an easy booking process and for cleaning *a few* things. But I could have accomplished more in for hours than they supposedly did in eight"]]

Weve been using Brighthouse for the past 2 years, and are highly satisfied with their services. Maria just left my home this afternoon, and my stress reduces as soon as I see her car pull up for our appointment! My house is left sparkling clean without the smell or fear of heavy chemicals, the staff is extremely respectful and attentive, they take detailed house notes on my priorities and they have been overwhelmingly consistent. I so appreciate the management of the attendants (managers stop in for visits randomly to perform quality inspections). In over 100 visits, I can only recall 1 experience that didnt meet my expectations. Their Managing Owner immediately rectified the situation, and went out of his way to correct the circumstance swiftly. Thats the way business should be done. The attendants themselves have positive things to say about their employer... and it shows in the quality of their work. Love it.
