I am floored by the positive reviews for Two Maids & A Mop! Following is a letter we sent to the company after the first clean... We had to have 3 different teams from Two Maids and a Mop come out on 3 separate days within 1 week because they did not even touch many plain sight surfaces (no exaggeration). My Wife (who is 6 months pregnant) and I just purchased a new home. India herself came out on the 3rd trip to attempt to make it right, and upon meeting her, I thought she would, but even after pointing out what was wrong from the prior two teams, and herself agreeing with me and claiming to be embarrassed by the prior teams work...even she said that she didnt understand how they missed certain areas... They still left cobwebs, stains, dust, crumbs and hair all over the place from the prior owners. We have about 25 photos from the trips. I was in disbelief of the unprofessional cleaning job they did and do not understand how they are still in business if every one of their teams work like this. This really hurt because we thought we could trust them and that they had integrity, but we were absolutely ripped off in Nashville, TN by them! This was just last week. What should we expect from a "professional" cleaning service? Am I wrong to think that my wife and I shouldnt have had to clean, scrub and disinfect sites in common living areas, the bathrooms and kitchen after they left for the 3rd time? Not to mention that our home was virtually EMPTY... they definitely took advantage of this particular situation... Heres a part of the letter/email: "Upon my arrival to our home at approximately 7:00 pm on 5/26/16 (the same day), the job that they performed at our home did not and does not display professionalism. We are extremely dissapointed because there are many areas throughout the house that were visibly untouched and not cleaned at all. None of our blinds were cleaned, most of our kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets/drawers were not cleaned (or what seems and looks to be a half efforted job), among many other things. Our kitchen and breakfast area floors were dusty and sticky to the step in common areas. The top of our refrigerator was visibly dusty and untouched with the exception of what seems to appear to be the swipe of a hand towards the front of it. There was no chemical smell whatsoever in either of our bathrooms so we are unsure if the showers, sinks or bathtubs were properly cleaned and disinfected. There was no smell or traces of bleach or any other cleaning chemical. The bathrooms looked like they did weeks before, which wasnt horrible, but definitely not thorough. Being that we arent in the cleaning business ourselves, we dont know exactly how long a professional job to thoroughly clean a house with a 2200 sq ft living space should take, but from the time the 2 employees pulled up, they were gone within 3 hours. We definitely dont have a problem with breaks being taken (everyone deserves breaks), and dont want anyone to be reprimanded, but again, the point here is that for the price of $355.00, that weve invested with your company to thoroughly clean our home, the job done was not nearly what a professional cleaning service should expect to take any pride in or gain more business off of. If we had the time and I wasnt nearly 6 months pregnant, we couldve done it ourselves, but because of our schedules and your advertisements, we trusted you to do a better/professional job, at the least visibly... Again, although the employees attitudes and appearances were great, the job performed on our home was not. Because of the original employees courteous attitudes and professional appearances, we do not mind if they come back or if they are replaced by another team, so long as the work is done properly and thoroughly. And once again, if the thermostat needs to be adjusted for comfort, as my husband informed your employees before, that is no problem. Feel free. We only ask that it is returned to the original settings/temperature as found. We dont want anyone getting too hot!"

I too am completely surprised about the positive reviews. I contacted Two Maids and a Mop for a move in cleaning. When speaking with India, I specifically said I needed the tracks of the windows cleaned. India told me no problem - they would clean the windows, just not the outside of the windows. I had scheduled my cleaning and the time was confirmed prior. I was given a window of 11am - 12pm for the maids to arrive. When setting this up, I had explained to India that I would not be present, but my mom would let the people in. The first issue was that the maids did not show up until after 1pm. I had to call not once, but twice to find out where they were and when they would be arriving. Upon arrival, they were given a tour of the home (which was EMPTY) and an overview of what to do. Again, the windows were mentioned - specifically the tracks. At no point, until they were leaving and when I spoke with India the following day, was it mentioned they didnt open windows. How do you expect to clean the tracks of a window without opening the window. When speaking with India, I expressed my frustration and disappointment with not only the fact that the maids were late, but also the, what she called, mis-communication. Im not sure what is mis-communicated when I specifically request a service but am not told its not feasible until AFTER Ive paid. Additionally, not only were the services I requested not performed, but the job performed was not up to par at all. There was still a mold ring in one of my toilets, and the ceiling fans still had dust on them. Im not quite sure what they cleaned in the time they were here since I didnt have any furniture. Yes, it was offered for them to send people back to re-clean. That wasnt possible as I was moving the next day and it wouldnt make sense. I asked for a discount on the $320 paid for the service I didnt receive. India informed me I would have to speak with the owner, who was out of town at a conference but would be back on Monday. That was over a week ago. I attempted to call and left a message, but as of yet, my call had not been returned. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone!!!

I was so excited after reading so many positive reviews about trying this service. Unfortunately, I cannot report such a great review. They did not arrive on the day scheduled but amended the situation by offering me a free premium cleaning which I thought was beyond gracious. The two ladies that came to clean were extremely friendly and sweet but the cleaning left much to be desired. We have minimal furniture and nothing to dust. Literally the bedrooms have a bed and side table and den has a couch and once hutch. I told them that the beds did not need changing (they were already made) so the only focus were the floors (hardwoods, linoleum & granite) and bathrooms (floors and shower stalls which are new and not dirty). I would say they mopped but did not attempt to clean-up any spills or marks. No elbow grease used if you know what I mean. They only swept what was visible (which I do everyday) and did not attempt to move anything or stick the broom under the bed(s). When I asked them they said they only swept where they could while standing up?!? I asked a few questions and was told that the office would call to discuss and make the next appointment. Its been a two weeks and I did not hear a peep until they called today to tell me someone would be here in the morning between 8-9am (which would never work with my schedule). When I told them I was unhappy with the first service and wanted to cancel the one they were calling about, it did not phase them in the slightest. I was asked if I got the email to review which I had not seen yet (after call logged on and am doing as requested and reviewing). There was no question of why I was unhappy or unsatisfied. I totally would have been willing to talk it through and give them another go but guess business is too good to want a new client?!? I am just looking for a service biweekly that will do more than wipe down and sweep while standing. I do that for free and well, lucky for me, they did it for free as well.
