I had an all-around bad experience. I never take the time to write reviews but this first and only review is well worth my time. I first took my car in on a Sunday because I needed new break pads. They were super friendly and let me know it would be 1:30min to look at it and confirm that is what I would need. I left my car with them and walked to the gym. I worked out for 1:30 and walked back, my car was sitting in the same place. No problem, I took it and let them know I would bring it back next weekend when my sister was in town so I wouldnt be stranded. So fast forward to next Saturday and I drop my car off first thing in the morning-10ish. I also ask about the 99.00 dollar special, which the guy immediately talks me out of because"those are cheap brake pads" and they will "still squeal" So that immediately gave me a bad impression. You basically just admitted your company is offering a crappy special with less than satisfactory parts. But I am a college student that lives in a different state from my dad, and fearing I will need a rotor replacement and pay even more if I dont take care of the pads immediately so I leave it. I let them know they will have all day with it, they agree to call before doing any work. I dont get a call until 3:36PM, two hours before I am supposed to pick it up. They tell me I need new rotors and brake pads of course, for a total of $384 and some change. I tell them not to do the work. My car is a 2010 with 35,000 miles and I was convinced I did not need new rotors. I spoke with a few people and ended up going to Budget Breaks, they had great reviews of honesty and being fairly priced. They informed me I did not need new rotors, they replaced my ceramic brake pads and resurfaced my rotors as well as clean and adjusted the back brakes. My final bill was 218 and some change and my Honda is perfect again. Its so sad how these places try to take advantage of the situation-especially when you are a female. In the end this company is damaging their reputation by lying to potential customers. I went to this place because it was close and convenient. While I was hesitant to take my baby to a place with Budget in the name, their service reflected anything but that name and at the end of the day Im so glad I didnt do business with this Firestone. They also tried to sale me other devices and items that I "needed" which would have totaled to 1,000. Ha!

I have been with Firestone since my first call back in New Jersey and can say this morning I am continued to be amazed by the customer service. For the first time I used the online schedule an appointment and with 10 mins I received a phone call to confirm and modify my appointment due to online having the capacity to overbook slots but that was ok because of the quick turnaround time. Second I am greeted by name all the time during the appoint and with a smile. Lastly during the tire rotation/alignment previously the tire thread caps where lost. When checking out from this appointment I asked for 4 new ones and the lady helping me gladly got them for me but I was shocked that when I went to put them on, the service people beat me to it!!! Now that is service! Thanks all Chris (Paul) Konecny

Upselling liars! Always get a second opinion for whatever these people say. Went for oil change and to fix my alignment, which pulled a lot. After $150, my alignment is no better and they told me I needed new brake pads, which they would gladly install for about $200 more. They started squeaking the next day, so I took it to pepboys who does free brake inspections. Pep boys told me I was nuts for thinking I needed new brakes, and that I had at least 15,000 miles left on mine. Squeaking was because they were dirty. Which Firestone probably did to trick me. Never going back; cheaper, more trustworthy places abound.

A recipe for disaster: forecast of rain; late afternoon; first day in Brentwood; huge hole in tire! Luckily AAA came through and put on spare and told us about the Firestone right down the street from our hotel. Even luckier was the fact that a great staff was working that afternoon. Joe and his crew went out of their way to locate a replacement tire, put it on the car, and quickly get us on our way. We could not have asked for a more professional, friendly, and accommodating group of experts. They even gave us a great recommendation for where to go for dinner!

My oil light came on as I left work. I calles to see if I could bring it in immediately, no problem. Got there and expected to wait since it was last minute, was helped immediately. Friendly, they explained what was going on, with my check engine light and the oil being low, and told me what oil I needed, what to expect to pay for future maintenence, what was necessary and what wasnt. Putoil in For Free! Asked me to come back to make sure the issue was fixed. Excellent service, I like that he explained the issue, and showed me. Will definitely use them for future!

I took my car to have a flat repaired, told me I had to buy 4 new tires, $500. Went in this month to have my brakes checked, they told me it was going to $686.00 to repair everything and showed me brake pads that were not mine that looked horrible! Told them no, because the guy waiting on me gave me a bad vibe and came off as a slimy salesman, took it to a Goodyear, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes at all!!! Posted this on fb as well and I cant believe how many people said this same store did the exact same thing to them! Consumer beware!!!!

Im sorry to say this was a horrible experience. We used to come to Firestone for anything and everything, mostly because of their service, however, with our last visit, we will not be coming back. All mechanics failed to even inspect our vehicle, relying instead on computer systems that gave them false readings. If they had taken one moment to look at the engine the problem would have been clear. Instead we had to waste an exorbitant amount of money on tow trucks just to fix a problem that shouldve only taken around an hour.

Seems to be overpriced a bit and I felt a little taken advantage of. I had a diagnostic review of my car for $94. Seems a sensor was out. I got a quote for $300+ to replace it. $250 for the part and $50 for the labor. I googled the part and bought it online for $50 with 3 year warranty. It was literally 2 screws on top of the engine. Took less than 30 seconds to replace. I was shocked to say the least but glad I saved $300 by looking it up. I recommend autozone and advance autos free diagnostic check before anything.

The technician working in the three bays closest to the lobby knows what he is doing and is amazing to watch. He probably should be training the others and running the whole operation. Lucky for me, the three times I have been in, he has serviced my vehicles. Everyone else, including management, seem unmotivated and to a certain degree, inept.
