They can fix cars all right but they also have the skills to break things while theyre fixing your car and sneakily do quick patch up jobs so you dont notice. This happened to me twice. The first time they broke the metal latch that the plastic side panel of my passenger seat clips on to. They put glue on it and said nothing when I picked it up. The glue came undone a few weak later and I took it back. Once again they put glue on it and said it was fixed rather than spend the money to order a replacement for the part they broke. The second thing they broke was the front passenger vent and they stuck it back in place just enough for me to not notice immediately. I had been driving around for months by the time I noticed cuz no one had been sitting on the right side of my car. One day a friend was carpooling with me and she decided to drive, we turned on the AC and the air wasnt coming out right so since its a swivel vent I gently touched it to adjust it cuz it looked a little lopsided. It immediately fell into the dash board. I have been searching for the part for months and havent been able to find it now I have no choice but to go to the dealership and spend a fortune to replace a simple piece.

So many reasons, so little space! I love American Imports for several important reasons. I have never had to have any of their work done over; it is always done right and well. The prices are extremely fair and decent. They dont try to get me to do things to my car that arent necessary. .I am the one who decides what happens to the car. They are totally honest. I would never go there if these statements werent true.... But wait! Theres more: The people are so polite and nice. Everyone is courteous and respectful. There is no "gutter talk"; there is no "bashing" of other shops; there is no constant political agenda being pushed. There is no "talking down" to me because I am a woman. There is a variety of reading material in the waiting room, including Christian literature which makes me feel at home. It is clean and comfortable and I recommend it to all my loved ones , co-workers and friends. Great place!

These people are fantastic. Ive been taking my cars there since I moved here. One of the hardest things to do after moving to a new location is finding a good mechanic you can trust. I got real lucky taking my car to American & Import first. They all know what theyre doing and the prices they charge compared to the area competition are very low. A blower motor repair that Ford wanted $1,200 for and Meineke wanted $800 for costed me under $300. Theyre equally skilled in repairing imports like my 91 Acura Integra which has a ton of electrical issues due to the previous owner. They have always been spot on with their diagnosis. They even managed to fix a hard to track down problem with vibration at a certain speed which ended up being some water in the differential. No one else would have figured that one out. These guys know what theyre doing and you cant go wrong taking your car to them.

These folks worked me in when they were quite busy to do a job that they knew they wouldnt receive huge profits from but still performed a great service and I have no doubt they are top-notch mechanics for diesel Mercedes and VW cars based on their knowledge. Im selling my 1985 Mercedes 300D turbo diesel which has been sitting unused for a couple of years and I needed someone very familiar with these cars to give it a thorough inspection so I could tell a potential buyer what theyd have to address. I live in rural Eastern KY where there are no shops with extensive Euro diesel car knowledge/experience, and I found these guys from google searching. I wouldnt hesitate to have them do any and all work to my MB or VW TDI if I hadnt had to leave for grad school in CT the next week, and I highly recommend them to anyone and especially if you have a Euro diesel car

Awesome service!!! After having to jump off my wifes Suburban twice in two days I took a chance by pulling into American & Import Auto Repair. First of all it was a Friday afternoon and you could tell they were swamped with business. Thats always a good sign. I was leaving town on Monday for a couple of days and didnt want to chance my wife getting stranded while I was gone. They could have told me to come back another day and I would have completely understood, but Scott found a way to get it in to at least check it out. Turned out it just needed a new alternator. I left it with them and they had it ready for me when I got back into town the middle of the next week. They were absolutely pleasant to deal with and the final cost was less than I thought it would be and I know less than what the dealership would have charged. I will definitely be back.

From the time youre greeted till the jobs done you feel like youre the only service theyre working on. They greet you with a smile and a handshake, while you realize this is a top notched business. From the time youre repair starts till its finished youre in the loop on whats going on. No unexpected charges when you pick up. As far as "routine service" the best in the business as well. Forget all these "other" stores American & Import Auto Repair is in it for the Long haul. They dont just want your business but your family & friends as well. Everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly! They will work with you on your vehicles issues and you dont feel pressured at all. They dont talk down to you or make women feel leered at or unwelcome like with so many auto repair shops. Im always comfortable taking my vehicle there and suggesting to my friends that they take their vehicles there too! The lobby is warm and inviting with great coffee and magazine selections, and the service manager is a super nice, and puts you at ease with what needs to be done to your vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend American and Import Auto Repair!!! Id give them 10 stars if that was an option!

Yall are amazing!!!!! I came in after 3 other businesses couldnt help me. As I entered the door in tears with little hope left I was greeted with open arms and smiles. They were very welcoming very positive and caring people. Not only were they able to fix the problem but went above and beyond there services and made sure things were complete until the end. Mr.Tim & Mrs. Kim thank you for your quality in your services and having an awesome staff.
