I live way out of town and while I was traveling through Knoxville, my front wheel bearing went out. I was in deep trouble. I had recently replaced my wheel bearing so I was a bit peeved that this was happening while I was out of town. Carlos, the manager, SAVED US!! He was awesome. He coordinated getting my part replaced for free since it was under warranty, but this was a big mess because of who replaced it and where. Carlos figured it all out, and was very patient with the situation we were in. On top of the top notch service and professionalism, he offered to take us to get some food since the area inst necessarily pedestrian friendly. The lobby was the best Id ever seen in an auto-repair place. Hardwood floors, leather couches, flatscreen tv, and a koureg... That was unexpected! I would take my car to him every time it needed something if I didnt live 8 hours away.

I am sitting outside as I type this.. HORRIBLE SERVICE! No hi, hello, welcome ANY OF THE TIMES I walked through the door. I only came here because the warranty company I had to deal with sent me here. I HAD an appointment to get my brakes done when I called to let them know I was on my way they asked if I was going to wait because it would be 45 mins before they could pull my vehicle in believe ME I understand how that works I was fine with it told them Id drop it off in that case if they would just be so kind to inform me on what the warranty Co said.. NO ONE CALLED ME TO UPDATE I had to call to see what the update was and they tell me over an hour after I dropped it off that the warranty Co is closed and they didnt speak to them. The least they could have done was be honest and told me it was gonna take much longer than the original time quoted. be courteous.

After getting my brakes done at Midas once and unknowingly overpaid, I swore I would never go back. Then my boyfriend and I went to Midas to get refrigerant put into his car because they were running a special. Unfortunately, his car had something wrong with the compressor so they couldnt perform the full service. We still had to pay the price for the service for them to tell us the AC still wouldnt work. I would not be upset if they had just charged us for running tests instead of the full service. Luckily, the employee that helped us was very nice and mentioned that it was a bummer to have to pay that much for the AC to still not work. Unfortunately, this is the second time I feel like I have overpaid at Midas and I will not to go back.

As one example out of several experiences, I came in thinking that my cooling fan needed replacing and I knew and was prepared to pay $$$ to get it replaced. My vehicle has issues burning through cooling fans. After he did his evaluation he came in and told me that the electrical cord had simply come unplugged and that the fan was working find when plugged in. He then advised me to other issues that would come up and about when he felt the would be an issue. Sure enough, he was pretty right on. This is just one example of how good these guys are and they dont play on a lack of knowledge. They are fair, ethical and their prices are competitive. Not taking my car anywhere else.

Excellent, full-service auto repair shop. Jesse, the head mechanic and the one youll likely talk to, is straightforward, honest and understands that the customer must be happy. Theres never any upselling or pressure. He gives complete explanations and gives you rational options, with upsides and downsides. They seem to understand that if you leave there knowing you were treated right and honestly, that you will come back. Its the only place Ill trust my car repairs to. And Ive tried a LOT of the repair shops in town. The waiting room is spotless, clean, quiet, has a big fluffy couch and chairs, a coffee table, a Keurig coffeemaker, free wi-fi, you name it.

I dont normally do this, but I had such great service recently, I had to congratulate the busienss. I needed tires for my car. I like really nice tires on my car because I like to use them as they are intended. A friend told me that Midas was recently acquired by Tire Barn and to check out their tire deals. I was skeptical that a muffler place would be a great tire option. I was wrong. I got great tires for a great price and with great service. The car drives great and I will definitely go back to Midas at Mabry Hood Rd. and Kingston Pike in Knoxville. Midas

Went in to see if I had a hose that needed to be replaced. Tech came back and said I had a crack in the radiator in the top plastic part. He told me that the new radiator would cost $150.00 and the labor would be $350.00! I thanked him and left. I got online and found the radiator guaranteed for $79.00 and found someone to put the radiator on at a national chain for $200.00. A whole $200.00 savings!! Midas tried to scare me into using their service. I will never use them again!

Horrible Experience! My daughter needed a flat repaired. She called them and they said bring it in and well get right to it. When she got there (with her 6 mo. old child in hand) they said they couldnt help her. What kind of jerks would promise a new mother over the phone that they could help to then simply blow her off when she arrived? I guess maybe only someone needing to spend a lot of money gets taken care of at Midas in Knoxville!

The staff there are helpful and did pinpoint what was wrong with my vehicle. Went in there to get three things fixed: the wheel bearings, wheel cylinder, and the rear brake drums. The parts themselves dont really cost that much brand new. The owner assures me its a two and half hour job but Im being charged in labor for eight hours worth of work. I do NOT recommend going here unless you have lots of extra pocket $.

We were in Knoxville from Mobile, Alabama to pick up a new fifth wheel. About 10 miles from the dealership, we developed a crack in our radiator. I was able to find Midas via a Google search for "radiator repair near me", and on a Saturday they were able to find us a radiator, install it, and get us back on the road in just a few hours. Excellent service, very honest, and extremely helpful. Thanks guys!!

Chris and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. You often hear of a automotive shop ripping folks off, but my experience with Chris was the exact opposite. He explained the issue, and his tech brought me back to show me and explain in further detail. He then explained the repair process and was very clear and upfront with me. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their car repaired.

My 2009 Corolla needed a new catalytic converter. The dealership price was just under $2,000 as was a small shop I normally take my car to for servicing. Midas price was $480. It was installed in January and so far so good. The staff was very nice and not pushy. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend anyone to atleast get an estimate from them for any work needed on your vehicle.
