I have had Charters internet, phone and TV package now for about half a year. Our installer was great and all of the services have been great as well. My dog recently ate the Charter remote control. I drove to their Maryville office and spoke with Berrie. I explained the situation to her and asked how much it would cost for a new remote control. I expected to have to pay for the replacement remote as it certainly wasnt Charters fault that my dog ate the original. I would have been happy with paying a reasonable price. Berrie handed me a new remote and said that it would there would be no charge! That kind of customer service is rare these days. No wonder that Charter doesnt require a contract. They retain a customers business the old fashion way. They earn it.

I am very thankful to Charter and all of their supporting staff, their quality of technology and services, and their expanding infrastructure plans. Because of Charter, I have been able to work from home as a single mother and pursue the dream of keeping my daughter. I have access to high quality internet, and it makes life possible for us, especially during the first 7 years after her birth, when I raised her as a completely single, and abandoned, parent. God bless your company. You are my angels, and hopefully now you know it. I know your services help a lot of other small business and individuals too. Recently we were going to switch from DirecTV to Charter. So the tech came and brought his HD box, sat it on top of my HD TV, disconnected my working HD DirecTV box, and hooked the HD box to my HD TV using non HD a/v cables. Not sure if the installer was a moron, or if he thought we were, but it looked awful. Called to ask for someone to install it correctly, but their response was less than great. My choices were take another day off from work, or Drive 20 mins out of my way to get the proper cord, they wouldnt mail it. I took the box back to them the same week and canceled my service.

Twice I tried to get some billing information, some that dated back two years. Both times they informed me there would be a charge for part of it, approximately $32. As ridiculous as that sounds to me, I agreed to pay it, but they never followed through either time. Their representatives are rude, they do not care about their customers, and in no way are they interested in providing good customer service.

The quality and speed of the internet via Charter is absolutely incredible! Also, their customer service team is VERY accessible, VERY quick to answer calls, and VERY knowledgeable. So bad cant even give it a star... they took out double payment. Which caused bank fees, so not only are you out the double payment but the bank fees also, which wont be refunded until Charter refunds the mistake they made. Crazy, oh but this dept does that not us... crap, terrible service, terrible customer service, terrible company.

We previously had charter loved it. But we have moved and have called them for last two weeks and the have gave my wife the run around about getting everything hooked up first they say 7 to 10 days well now its 3 weeks. But I think Im seeing direct tv in the future Im not waiting no longer

The 5 stars on here are a lie, theyre being paid off. I paid for 100 Megs a second and it feels like 1/8 Megs a second. If you have other options, anything is better.
