Its difficult to sum up the service we received without writing an essay but it is worth the effort. I booked exactly 3 weeks early for a Thursday. Both time frames were available and they allowed me to choose it, then allowed me to change it a day or 2 later. They show up at the wrong time, do a walk through, then tell us they are supposed to be in Mississippi. Its already 9 so they are late for the entire day. They show up at 315. late. driver gets a call upon walking through the door saying he cannot disassemble and assemble baby crib. How did no one know this before 315 on moving day. I detailed my furniture with Casey exactly 3 weeks ago. Eric, whom i have never spoken to (although ive had communication with Ben who is also management or the owner) called me while they were moving my furniture to say they are cancelling my moving, taking my furniture off the truck, and will refund my deposit.. for THEIR mistakes made all day, poor service and poor communication. Needless to say they changed their mind, and wasted the entire first hour since they cancelled, removed furniture, then uncancelled.. and everyone knows you pay hourly. Movers were kind, but instead of taking things out of a closet that I told them about before they got started and asked them again to do half way through loading, they instead removed the exercise bike that they wanted to know if was in good condition since we no longer wanted it. Ive had bad service before from businesses, but June 29th with All My Sons exceeds them all. Refer to Facebook page for a detailed timeline.

Moving is already a stressful experience but they made it an absolute nightmare. These people are disrespectful, dishonest, and unprofessional. Do not trust anything of what you are told on the phone or what is said in the positive reviews (probably false). Moving was scheduled on the morning time slot (8-9) and confirmed several times on the phone. Movers were sent in the pm. Probably because of a last minute job came up. Had to reschedule because not enough time left that day. On the job movers were taking regular smoking brakes, they were slow and inefficient. I had to press them to get things done. I was told that hourly fee would cover everything except specialty wrapping and boxes. At time of unloading I was presented an obscur bill with no hourly details. There was a 12% fuel surcharge that I though was included, and 54$ packing material charge. When I called the manager to ask about the detail of the bill that I could not understand, he told the movers to take my stuff back to their facility until I accept to pay the bill. I was held in hostage and had to pay the bill to get them to unload my stuff. When the movers came back, 40min after I hung up with the manager, they were disrespectful and mocking me. Some were unloading my things abruptly. I didnt say anything because I was fearing it would make things worse. I was totally helpless and I am still in shock from what just happened to me. This was the worse service experience I ever had. I had to pay 900$ to get my 2 bedroom apartment transferred into a storage unit 15miles away.

I should have read the reviews before I booked them. The good reviews on here are probably fake. I hired a two men truck to move out of a one bedroom. I did not even have that much stuff so before they started I told them I wanted to keep it to the 2 hour minimum and have them move the big furnitures first. After about 40 minutes of moving everything into the truck, they told me that we should start moving things into the new place if I want to keep it to the 2 hours minimum. We got to the new place and it took them about 20 minutes to move everything in. They left with 40 minutes left on the clock that I had to pay for. There was stuff still left back at my old apartment. They could have moved all of it down with the 40 minutes they have left but now Im stuck spending the next 2 days moving everything by myself because they were too lazy to move down everything. It was obvious they just want the money and were too lazy to do their job. Also, the truck was dirty and all my stuff that was moved into my new place has this brown grease all over the boxes and furniture and now the furniture smells kind of weird. Dont waste your time and money here. There are much better companies. Also I was charged $362 instead of the minimum $332 they said even though the workers left 40 minutes earlier than they were supposed to.

This company offered a mediocre moving experience to say the least. We relocated from TN to MS. 1. We requested a larger and/or additional truck for moving our home furnishings. They arrived with a smaller truck, limited packaging supplies for furniture and "we" had to transport our own items to new home but they still required payment as if they transported ALL items. 2. The driver constantly implied how clients especially in wealthy communities do not tip and look down on movers. He constantly made statements as if they were doing us a favor by helping us move instead of the actual reality that we HIRED and PAID for a moving service. 3. They didnt want to place furniture upstairs. Movers made excuses about moving sofas upstairs. They literally damaged and dropped furniture on flooring and stated, "whatever" afterwards. They drilled screws into furniture that didnt fit causing damage. I gave them water throughout the move because they were constantly drinking water from our outside faucet. Charges were very inconsistent with given quotes. Upon finally completing move, they asked/implied for tips again. Would not recommend anyone to use this company...

I thought I was getting a professional moving company but I was totally wrong. My appointment time was supposed to be from noon until 3. So right at 6, I was getting on 385 to go pickup something to eat when I noticed the movers truck getting off 385 at Winchester. So I got off to go back home. So I called the office and aked the man that answered what was going on. No one has shown up yet and I havent received a call from anyone. All he could say is let me call them right now and have them call you. Then the manager called me back after talking to one of the movers. He asked me what do I want them to do? We have had a busy and some of the workers called in. That doesnt have anything to do with me. So I asked "What would a PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY DO AFTER ARRIVING 3 hours late and no calls to inform the customer of whats going on? Im paying you guys just like the other customers therefore Im expecting professional movers as well! The manager said "Well your not going to get a discount if thats what youre looking for!" Ok! Transfer my money back into my account right now! Click! Bad business!!!!

Very disappointed in the service. While the actual movers did a great job and were extremely respectful, the office staff is where this company falls short. Prior to moving we discussed the minimum, surcharge, etc. After discussing a 2hr move and location to location, an estimate of $475 was given. The move took exactly two hours and I was presented with a bill for around $640. After one of the movers spoke with the office, they knocked it down to $588. We had everything boxed up and ready to go, so I guess the blankets they used and the mattress cover cost $113? After speaking with an X employee of the company I was told "when I worked for them, I told my own mother not to use A.M.S. It is very likely your clients are in a moment of distress to begin with. Very unfortunate you have such great workers and such poor management.
