I took my car in for a rotate and balance oil change, serp belt change and brakes checked before I went on a trip. They told me they would be done at 530, I dropped the car off at 3pm, I was given a quote and since I didnt have another vehicle and am new here I walked to the gym instead of waiting 2 and a half hours at the store. I had only been at the gym about 45 min when I called to see if it needed brakes or not and they said they were done. They said they didnt have time to change the belt or do the brakes, even though it was still a long time to closing?, that I would have to bring it back tomorrow. So I walked back wasnt happy about that and pd them for the tire rotation and balance and oil change. When I was getting ready to leave he said see you tomorrow said a price and said then youll be ready. The price was 100 dollars more than the total price I was quoted and I had already pd for half the work. Anyway he said my first quote was wrong and I said ok I will go somewhere else. On the way home if I got to 60 on the interstate the car shook so bad I had to hold the wheel with both hands. Since they were closed I took it back in the morning and they said they fixed it, same thing when I got on the rd. Took it right back and still it happened again, Had to pitch a fit to get my money back, took it to another store where they said the tires were way out of balance, and that I didnt need brakes or rotors, So I replaced the belt elsewhere of course and will never let them touch my car again, They didnt even apologize, Very bad business, Do not take a vehicle there

Im a really chill person and I dont really leave a lot of reviews because I usually dont really care honestly, but this place was so bad I feel compelled to warn everyone. Discount tire is ALWAYS busy, and Ive never spent more than an hour, hour and a half there. This place had one other customer on site, and it took THREE AND A HALF HOURS to change tires. I was quoted a price for the tires, and then they added a jacked up alignment free which was double what I would have paid anywhere else, and Im told by other mechanics now that an alignment isnt a must on new tires unless the car was pulling (and it wasnt). They told me they put window washer fluid...I turn it on, and instead of spraying my windshield, I see a leak from the hood. Open the hood to see it sprayed up on the hood. I dont even know how they messed that up. TLDR; payed double and waited triple what I would have somewhere else. They completely screwed me and acted like it was nothing. Will never return and will warn others to avoid.

Pros: Most of the work is good quality - tire rotations, oil changes, normal maintenance type stuff. Cons: These guys are under HUGE pressure to UP SELL. So be prepared to have them "find" something that needs work when you go in for any service. Perhaps these things they find really do need repair, perhaps not. When someone is pressured to up sell, the temptation to shade things in their favor is immense. So they offer you a free alignment check - what are the chances theyre going to tell you that you need an alignment? Pretty high even if your alignment is within tolerance levels. Its a shame that it appears the owners are are so focused on bottom line revenues as it places both the employees and the customers at a disadvantage. The customers lose confidence in what theyre being told, and turn to other providers, and the employees get dinged because revenues fluctuate month over month increasing the pressure to up sell further.

Gateway diagnosed my problem as needing 2 new tires. They did not drive the car to diagnose the issue. They didnt test the car after the work, but charged me and told me the problem was fixed. It wasnt. The wanted to replace the other two tires, insisting that would fix the problem. I told them to put my original tires back and took the car somewhere else. They refunded part of the work, but still charged me $63 for an alignment that I didnt ask for and didnt need. Finally, when I got the car back, while I was out the next day, I found the tire they put back on was flat. The other place started by asking to ride in the car with me. They heard the grinding and immediately knew what it was. It had nothing to do with the tires and was a simple fix. My extended family used to use Gateway, but we have had multiple problems with them mis-diagnosing problems and over charging.

I had my truck towed to these guys cause my cat convertor stopped up and caught on fire they quoted me a price of 1100 dollars to replace it i called a muffler shop for the same thing they told me 200 for the job so i told gateway they said for me to carry it to the other people to do it if they can do it for that. so the next thing im called and they lowered the price to 550 dollars and said it was fixed so i got the bill and on it was no where to be found about a new cat all they did was replace ignition coil pack which i already replaced before i took it to them and that was it and my truck still is not fixed so i took it back and now they say i need a intake gasket and they want to charge me 1300 to do that so i got my truck back and will never let them touch it any more.

My husband and I took our car to these people to have brake pads installed. Tonight on the way home the brake light come on and the brakes failed. My husband had to use the emergency brake to get us home. Upon inspection the brake fluid is empty. We arent sure what to do now, but taking the car back to these guys is NOT high on our list of things to do. Every time we take a car there they prove themselves to be shady characters. If they want repeat business the best idea is to give good quality service. Shame shame on them for failing to do a simple job... Or doing a simple job and making an underhanded attempt to get us to come back for yet another overpriced round with them =(

I went to Gateway to check availability on a set of tires. By the time I left, the guys at Gateway had sold me four tires, installed my lift kit, and threw in a free alignment. My truck drives even better than when I dropped it off. The price was so low that I almost felt like I was ripping THEM off! They were able to fit me in with no notice (which is great for my work schedule) and a guy named David even drove me to the bank after my bank card wouldnt work. He ended up having to stay late while my wife brought a check, and was courteous the whole time. My truck looks AWESOME with the new tires!! I will be using Gateway for all my future tire purchases.
