I wish I wouldve read these reviews before hand. I had a really positive initial experience when booking my appointment, and I was looking forward to a seemingly good quality service. Unfortunately all I learned is their dispatchers that work during the week provide a much higher quality service than what I actually received. I was called on Friday by the manager to confirm my order. He was very kind and informed me they would give me a rate of $109 with a three hour min. He said they would be there at 12pm and I would have 2 movers. This was for a one bedroom, no additional furniture, just one bed room. When the guys arrived, it was at 2pm, okay whatever things happen. However, right away I was uncomfortable because as I read in another review the guys were very flirtatious. Didnt like that. Also right away the head guy informed me that they work for tips. Great. They also sent a 3rd, extremely unnecessary mover to help with my ONE BEDROOM which consisted of a bed, bed frame, box springs, desk, dresser, and maybe 5 boxes... To put into perspective it took two hours from start to finish, and finished was after everything was loaded into the storage unit we traveled to. Also, he tried to charge me $119 for the hourly rate, instead of the rate the manager offered me which was $109. I literally delayed my moving for two days in order to save a few bucks. Because of this he had to call someone to confirm, which he left on speakerphone, and that person was also incredibly rude and did not want to give me the $109 rate, but finally said "whatever, I guess"... What I was the most displeased with though is how they handled my things. They tipped my desk literally over on its top, even after I informed them that I had not emptied the contents of its drawers, which they said would be fine and no trouble at all.... Things from my desk littered the storage unit building, the parking lot, and the truck. They didnt even apologize or change their style in which they handled the rest of my things. They didnt even stop to pick the stuff up! They just kept going. They were so incredibly rough on everything, stacking everything as high as possible, not accounting for weight or stability of the boxes. It was pretty miserable. Finally after biting my tongue forever, I went behind them in the storage unit I AM PAYING FOR and moved a few things around because they had flipped my trunk over which was housing A LOT of really important things to me that I was worried would be damaged from being flipped over like that. Thank God I checked because everything was crumbled and scattered throughout the truck, not at all in the very intentional, organized way I packed it. I was really upset but I didnt say anything or let on to them at all that I was upset because I didnt want them to be uncomfortable.... and yet despite my being considerate of their feelings even when they were so clearly inconsiderate of mine, I still got a smart ass comment after it was all said and done from the main guy, "its a really good thing you werent moving a whole house...", sorry I care about my stuff not being broken and damaged? I hadnt even said anything to them at all! Lastly when paying, it was $200 more than what they quoted me initially because of the "supplies" they had to use when wrapping my stuff... Wrapping my stuff with sticky tape I wasnt even asked about and that I didnt even want used on my things! So incredibly disappointed. And then after the payment process and him being so rude, he reminded they work for tips.... Horrible.

I scheduled a move with this location for 09/17/2017 and the move window provided was 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. After I received a confirmation email, I received a call stating that they would call 30 minutes prior. I only needed large furniture items moved. All of my other personal items were out of the apartment to expedite this process. The 12-2 window of time was perfect as my landlord was requesting that I return the keys by 5:00 PM. On 09/17/2017 at 2:15 PM I had not heard from anyone, so I called for an update. After calling several All My Sons phone numbers listed online and in the confirmation email, I was able to get through to someone at the Dallas, TX location. After speaking with a representative, he assured me that the movers were probably busy, but he would send an email to the shop manager requesting that he contact me. By 5:00 PM, I had not heard from anyone so I called the Dallas location again. The representative told me that she would call the shop manager. When she was unable to reach him by phone she stated that she would send an email, requesting that he contact me. I let her know that I have already been through this process and after 2 hours, have still not heard from anyone. She explained that she would mention in the email that I have a timeline to return my key and that I am very frustrated. At approximately 6:20 PM I received a call from an All My Sons employee who identified himself as Cookie. He explained that they were caught up on a job and short staffed. He asked if I still wanted to do the move tonight. I explained that I did and made sure he would be ok with the move as it was getting dark outside. He said that it would be ok and that he would be at my location in 45 minutes to an hour. About 20 minutes later he called back, asking if I would reconsider having them coming out tonight. He stated that I should reschedule and he didn’t want anyone to get hurt in the dark or to damage my furniture. I asked if I could have a first thing in the morning move (09/18/2017), he stated yes. I asked for his manager’s number, he provided me with the phone number and I spoke with his manager Joseph. I called Joseph and he explained that all of their morning appointments are booked. But he would try to get me in for 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. I am hugely disappointed with this. I used All My Sons for a previous move and I was very, very pleased with my experience. This time, I can honestly say that I have been inconvenienced beyond words. I never even received a phone call saying that they were running behind or wouldn’t be coming out. I had to call the Dallas location twice just to get anyone to even contact me about my scheduled move. This is unprofessional and inconsiderate. My landlord is very upset that I am late returning my key and they will probably be a charge for this. I had to make arrangements to sleep at a friend’s house because my furniture hasn’t been moved to my new location and I had to arrange to have someone else be at my apartment for the move since I have to work today. I called and spoke with Joseph again and he states that the “most” he can do to fix this is to comp me the 8% fuel charge.

We booked this moving company back in April and were scheduled to move TODAY (June 4th) at 8AM. Come 3:30PM, Brian calls my Wife to tell her that they arent going to be able to move us! We called them 3 times leading up to their last minute cancellation on us, to check their progress and try to gain a good scope of time, and each time, we were told that they were still backed up from another move, but theyd be there and would call. Mind you, they are already 7 and half hours LATE. To make it even worse, we had everything packed and ready to go, including our beds...and my Wife is pregnant!! I saw the horrible reviews the night before about All My Sons, but wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, besides that, it was a little too late change moving companies. Their phone etiquette was great, but this is by far the worst company that I have ever dealt with concerning what was supposed to be an actual business transaction. After my Wife told me that they canceled at the very last minute on us, I called Brian to get the details. They were all excuses and showed that this company lacks serious integrity. Believe the reviews here! Do not do what I did and ignore them, but if you do, I pray it works out far better for your family. I also hope this company can get themselves together and allow their moving and business skills to match their "smooth talking" skills on the phone. It was a horse and carrot scene with them. How does a customer book a move over 2 months in advance, with communication in between and then STILL get cancelled on after waiting for movers that are 7 hours late to begin with? Leave it to All My Sons (Nashville region). To make it worse, Brian referred me to another company that he said he went out of the way to do for us... even though this entire dilemma was 100% in fact All My Sons fault/negligence... Really? You "went out of your way to make it right, for screwing us over? Anyway, he did give me the other companies phone number and informed me that they would be able to move us tomorrow (Sunday) and that I just needed to confirm.... So I called the other company to confirm and they informed me that they did NOT have any slots available at all!!!! Everything happens for a reason so lets hope that after my 3rd attempt at scheduling a moving company, that Master Movers of West End (Nashville) come through for us at 9am as promised tomorrow...even though they dont usuually start until 12p on Sundays! Theyre coming in early for my family and they are cheaper! Ill definitely keep everyone posted. To make it clear, I do not feel good about leaving this true to life, negative review, but I would feel much worse if another family is strung along and left out to dry like were today...especially if there is an expectant mother involved. Please, if you are going to be in the moving business...especially if you have YEARS of "experience" like All My Sons, understand that your poor business practices have a direct impact on families and their lives. God bless.
