I went there today because my Dell laptop had a broken screen. The technician who assist me advise me that it was going to cost me around 270-300$ to get it fix, plus they cant do it on their location and they have to ship it somewhere else, which this process will take around a month or two. He DID offer the option on save my information "in case it gets lost" with them for nothing less than a 100.00 Once I told him that I couldnt believe the price and the time it will take to repair it, he told me "I strongly recommend to just buy a new one" He said that they sometimes are not able to get it fix and if he was me, he just will buy a new one. I left that place and look for another one Parts-People, as soon as I walked into their store, they look at my computer and told me that it would cost 80$ to fix it and it will be ready in 10 min. Completely unbelievable!!!!! They did a great job and and super cheap. Never ever going to even consider Geek Squad.

Im pretty sure nobody works at this location because every time I come in everyone is just standing around while customers sit and wait and if you walk up to the counter theyre mad that you bothered them if you have an appointment but if you dont have an appointment scheduled a week in advance then they wont even give you 5 seconds of their time. The worst is having to get a phone "fixed" by them, I say "fixed" because all they do is take your phone, write down information that they will completely ignore later and then toss your phone in a box in the back, they dont actually do anything. And dont believe the bs line that itll be done in 3 days, Ive had them replace 3 phones and 7 days was a record time for them. They are there solely to sell you a new product, not customer service, theyre barely competent enough to tie their own shoes, Id never trust them with actually fixing anything.

The employees really try to push the extra warranty packages on you, and as soon as you make it clear you arent interested in purchasing that, they cant get you out of the store fast enough. I worked in retail all through college and I am consistently surprised at how terrible the service is here. They just straight up lie to you about their products and then when you try to return them, the manager blatantly tells you that the employees are uninformed. Really not impressed!

5 day waiting time. The tech was to call before coming to house. They called the wrong number and got voice-mail but went to the house anyway. Guess what, we werent there. Tech left without providing service only after letting one of our dogs escape from the fenced yard. Time was rescheduled for a week later. grr

It takes forever, its overpriced, their "fix" didnt work so I took it somewhere else. They try to sell you junk for a high price. I do not recommend going to Geek Squad. I thought the Best Buy brand name would be reliable... now I recommend going to any place local.

These people are terrible, I would not let them work on my laptop or other electronics. They also charge way too much for their services. Try PC Guru.
