Best little Mac repair shop in Texas. Lol. But serious these guys are legit they are vary courteous and professional. They have a very good rapport with you, always calling you back promptly and accommodating your schedule. And they give you all the necessary info to help you make the decision that’s best for you and your pocket book. This one time my brother brought in his iMac, the screen got cracked and he wanted to find out how much it would cost to repair. They gave him an estimate but they also informed him of several other options that never even occurred to us and saved us mucho dinero. They didn’t have to do that but it really goes to show you how good a shop this place is. I’ve been going back to these guys ever since with all my Mac needs and they have not let me down yet. The place is a little hard to find but if your turning onto Lamar from Riverside going away from lady bird lake it’s in the big 6 story brown brick building on the right hand side. I think the place has a sign out front saying Congress Square. So if you want to get some work done on your Mac these guys are the ones to do it.

I am giving MacTronics a simple good review. I called in to get a quote for a new battery for my 2012 rMBP. The woman who answered the phone suggested that I take the computer in to the apple store. This would allow apple to run a free diagnostic, which would make sure it is actually the battery thats gone bad. I will do that, but I appreciate the honesty from a business that has parallels to automotive repair and the opportunity to sell people things they do not need. Thanks!

Personal attention to solve your computer needs. Knowledgeable, friendly staff will get the job done! My computer was in and out the same day. Theyve got all the Apple certifications that you need. No appointment or waiting in line. I just walked in, left my laptop with them and came back a few hours later after spending a few hours ducking in and out of South Congress stores, Amys Ice Cream and a couple of restaurants. Mactronics makes it easy and affordable.

This is a great mac repair store. I had an issue booting my laptop up and getting past the apple icon and all the online tutorials to fix it were not working for me. I brought it in Monday and knew by that afternoon what was wrong. They were able to fix it under warranty and have it ready the following day. I highly recommend this place for any warranty or out of warranty fixes on mac computers or iPads.

Yes, they exist. Like the other reviewer said, theyre hard to find the first time: since theyre inside a large office building, theres no storefront, and no sign posted. You have to know the address to find them. But they were fast and very friendly, and more than willing to be flexible and accommodating to unusual requests (try that at a Mac store). Id give them 5 stars, but Ive only used them once.

Every person that helped us there was absolutely amazing! Extremely kind and they give you every detail about what has happened and how they are going to fix it. I dropped my Macbook and broke my hard drive and they fixed it quickly. If my Macbook ever has something wrong with it again, it is going straight to MacTronics!! Thank you guys so much!!

This place DOES exist and its leaps and bound better than going to the apple store to get something fixed. The people who run it are incredible nice and accommodating. They have a much faster turn around than the apple store and they can fix anything. Oh, and they answer the phone everytime I call.

These folks are up front with information about costs for repair and were willing to work with reducing expense for a small nonprofit. They are hard to find though. They are in a red six story office building BEHIND FREE BURRITOS, not in the complex with FB or Dominican Joes. Great Parking.

Great service, great people. Took care of me and didnt charge me for anything I didnt need. Walked out cheaper than the quoted price with a working Mac. Top notch. Plus they can perform warranty work so you can avoid the so called "Geniuses".

This is a great Apple certified repair shop. This is the place you go when you want someone who has worked on Macs since the 80s to work on your computer. They offer liquid damage repair.
