I dropped off an ipad on Wednesday of last week. I was told by the vice nice man at the desk that they were having a special on the glass replacement for the ipad II and that the repair would be completed on Tuesday August 22nd. I told him I would be in on Wednesday to pick it up. When I arrived at the store (Wednesday) I was told that no one has even worked on it. The technician said that he may have a chance to work on it later in the day. There were two other customers in the store and they were told their repairs would be completed in an hour. This technician also bragged about his skills being "Apple approved" and that other stores "the Geek Squad" was not and that if they were telling customers that they were they were lying. Once he told me that he might be able to finish it this evening I left. Before going to the store I called at 5:30 pm to make sure that it was repaired. The same technician/clerk informed me that he did not work on it. I asked why he told others that he would have theirs completed in an hour and his response was "ipads are different". I told him that I needed it today and could he complete the repair by 7 pm. He said no but that he could pack it up for me to take as is. I was shocked. I asked to speak with the owner and managers and he would not provide a contact info for them. I asked if they could call me and he said maybe but he could not guarantee it. He hung up. I will wait for a reply from the manager or owner to see if they will step up and make this right.

I called first to see if they could fix my daughters ipad. The gentleman on the phoned explained what was most likely the problem and that I would probably need to send it to Apple. He said there was a slight chance the port could just need cleaning and if I was in the area I could bring it by. Later that day, I stopped by the store, with my three kids in tow. Unfortunately, I was behind a rather rude lady with some unrealistic expectations and an unrelenting personality. Both gentlemen working the store showed inordinate patience in dealing with the situation. Once it was my turn, they were quick to recall my phone call earlier, and immediately took my ipad to the back to begin diagnostics. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, I was told that it was an issue that would require me to contact Apple. (His diagnosis was correct. I contacted Apple later that day and they said that on my model ipad, it was not fixable and I would need to buy a replacement.) Nevertheless, I was extremely happy with the customer service and technical knowledge. Rest assured, if any of my phones or gaming consoles give me problems, this is now my "go to" place. Long live small businesses who care about their customers.

Ive been to 1Up three times now bc Im clumsy and careless at times with my phone. Each time Ive gone in, they have been so incredibly kind and helpful. The store is clean and inviting, and everyone has been super friendly. Ill explain whats going on, theyll look over it quickly and give me an estimate. 30 minutes later, the problems fixed, and Im on my way. Any college kid knows that paying for things like a cracked screen or a battery replacement is really inconvenient, but Ive been given a fair price every time Ive gone. They dont take advantage of anyone, and theyre quick and efficient. The best in town!

Thieves, crooks and liars. I dropped off 2 non working lap tops here in October 2016. out of town a lot, and suddenly it occurred to me that I had never received a call. I stopped in,and they produced 1 laptop that they said they could do nothing with. I asked about the other laptop, and they said that they had no record of it. No effort to look for it, no questions about what kind it was. ..Nothing. barely an apology. I would strongly recommended that if you leave anything there, guard your ticket with your life. If not, its likely to disappear. Id give them ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OOPTION.

Very help, friendly, and fast. They fixed my screen within 30 minutes! It was the best price i found in San marcos and it came with a lifetime warranty. He offered to put a glass screen protector on it for a little extra and I agreed then when I mentioned I have a life proof instead of just putting in the screen protector and making more money off me he informed me that the glass screen protector and the life proof dont go well together. He helped me make a decision about which was best for me. Over all, very friendly, affordable, and helpful!

4 out of 5. I shattered the screen on my android after a year without a case. The mid-frame had plenty of wear-and-tear and by the time I brought it in, the digitizer was pretty funked up. At first sight, the cost of repair seems somewhat pricey, but the down payment went toward the new screen, the rest is put toward the time and labor. Plus, the screens they use are under warranty (not for physical damage, though) and, if you need to come in again, you do get a 10% discount. All in all, great customer service. Very helpful guys.

I just left the store. Dwayne was the manager who helped me and he was absolutely aamaaziinggg. My iphone 5s battery was busted and started lifting up left left half of my screen. Within 30 minutes i had what looked like a brand new iphone. It is fully functional once again. This store had fantastc service and absolutely the best prices. I will most definitely return if I ever need service on my phone or laptop!! Great place 10/10. I also purchased a very cute charger at a low price along with my new screen/battery :)

This was such an amazing experience. I cant put into words how courteous and friendly and helpful the folks at this location were. I came in with a completely decimated phone (broken screen, wrecked LED, non-functioning touch screen), and within an hour, they gave me back a perfectly functioning phone. These guys were affordable, too. They charged me a little over $100 for all the repairs, and even offered some accessories to help prevent me from ruining it again. These guys are honestly lifesavers.

Dont believe them when they tell you you have a lifetime warranty. My phone was messed up with the interior of the AFTER I got my screen replaced. BUT when I went to get it fixed they said it wasnt covered under my warranty. They charged me an additional $82. Let it be known that when I got my phone replaced they also sold me "the best case on the market" AND screen protector. How could the interior break with no exterior damages? Either way I do not recommend this place very misleading.

Well I came in with cracked screen and a little water damage and myself and a worker agreed upon just fixing my screen. Although my phone seemed fine for about an hour it stopped working after that and continued to have a black screen. I guess there was miscommunication between myself and a worker about non refundable water damage situations and I am now unfortunately down 100$ with a phone that isnt working at all and have to buy a completely new phone still.
