Would have been great if the employee who worked with me had actually attempted to look for a solution. I asked for a red lip stain and was directed to one line without any information about it. I tried it and said it was too gloss-like and was instead blamed for the way the lipstick was: "its the tester so you shouldnt expect much" and "its because I sprayed it with cleanser for you to use." Its a tester so it should work exactly as one should expect from their purchased product, that isnt an excuse for the quality. If the tester is going bad, get another. If youre spraying the tester with so much cleanser that you completely change a lipstick to a paste, youre cleaning your tester wrong. I showed the employee the three swatches on my wrist from the samples she gave me and told her they arent what Im looking for because theyre too pink or have too much of a magenta undertone. I told her again that I needed a proper red stain, like fire engine red or red delicious. I wasnt aiming to be difficult, but I wanted to be clear on what I needed. The employee just said "Okay." And walked away. I wasnt offered any other lines or options and I definitely didnt feel I should stay in a store where the employee is so unwilling to provide basic customer service.

I went here to exchange some items that my mother bought me for my birthday and the manager Brittany gave me major hell about it. After I called asking if i could exchange it in the first place and they said it was okay, they turned right around and said no. Even after they verified they had already said yes. My mother doesnt live in Texas, so the fact that I had to drive all the way down there and all the way back to my house for my mom to fax over the recipt and then drive all the way back to EXCHANGE some prodcuts because they "didnt" have a sku. Ive exchanged things once before and what they usually do, is go find the sku and scan it because its the same thing as if I did bring the ticket. Sucks for them, instead of exchanging, I got my moms cash money back and they lost 2 customers. Oh, and Brittany is really rude too. Not just because of this event but many before it too. She matched me for a Bare Escentuals color after I already knew what it was, and when I found out that it was too yellow and tried to exchange it for my normal color, with the ticket this time, she kept trying to convince me eventhough my boyfriend even said it looked to yellow. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The service provided at this Ulta location is unacceptable. While waiting in line, there were two cashiers, one of which spent at least 5 minutes with a customer, and the turnover should be at maximum 90 seconds for each transaction (Ive worked in retail). The cashier seemed very confused about how to operate the computer for what appeared to be a return. This is in no way the cashiers fault, but the managers fault for not adequately training their employees. My own cashier corrected me on a sale that was being displayed. She said the ad in the Ulta magazine says differently than what I was claiming, but never made an effort to actually go look at the sign in the store I was referring to. Its unacceptable for an employee to correct a customer. If the sign is misleading, then put up a different sign. Anyone who runs a good business knows that agreeing with the customer and comp-ing an item will ensure that customer remains loyal to their business. Being correct might feel good in the moment, but now Ulta has just lost a life long customer. This is unacceptable and the manager needs to ensure that the highest quality employees are hired and trained properly.

Read my previous review which was a 2 start. I am changing it because I decided it was unfair to penalize a fantastic stylist (Dawn) because of the service when she was not there. All I can say is that she does a beautiful job on my hair EVERY time. I have a short bob and people are always complimenting me on my hair and the cut. Most recently she coloured my hair and it turned out fabulous. Thank you Dawn! Previous Post: I have had a fantastic cut and color here more than once. The problem is they can not get customer service together. When you call the phone rings and rings. When you book online the appointment does not always get in the system and most recently when they cancel they do not inform you. I arrived and they said they tried calling. Maybe but no message on my voicemail and no text. When I asked about texting they said they are able to text yet I got a text message with my appointment confirmation. I will not be going back. My time is valuable and I expect better service.

I contacted Ulta Salon last minute for a haircut on New Years Day and was very fortunate to be scheduled for a haircut by GRADY STONE. AMAZING ONE IN A MILLION HAIRSTYLIST!!! From the moment he scheduled me to the way he greeted me in the salon, he was absolutely beyond delightful and welcoming. He offered water and then spent a good amount of time discussing what I wanted for my hairstyle. I was absolutely stunned by the fabulous Jennifer Aniston-like haircut I received. Grady was ever so pleasant and made my dream haircut come true! What impresses me about him is that he pays an extraordinary amount of attention to the detail of a haircut as an artist would to a painting. Throughout the whole process, he was just delightful as could be. I am picky about my hair so I was absolutely impressed by his flawless and precise hair design techniques and will only be coming back to get my hair cut by Grady! I absolutely LOVE my haircut. Thank you!

Customer service is spot on here! Every one I have encountered there is really sweet! My cashier told me she uses the illuminator I was buying & she really liked it. She was right; its awesome. Really, the only complaint I have is that I always find TOO MUCH here! Not much of a complaint either. They always have what I need & I keep finding great products. Really love that they carry so many great higher-end products & you can try them all before you buy them. Last night I came in to get my eyebrows waxed but their brow specialist at the Benefit Brow Bar had left for the day, BUT they had availability in the salon. Alexis took care of me & she is wonderful! She not only did a great job on my eyebrows but she was also so easy to talk to.

I went to the salon today to get my hair cut, just like I do every month, at the SAME Ulta.. The guy who cut my hair(Jessie) did a GREAT job. I had my friend check me out cause I was on the phone, but when we got to the parking lot I noticed that my reciept stated that I was charged $50, which I have never had to pay for a haircut from this place. Apparently Jessie is a master stylist and his haircuts are $50. I normally pay $35, and no one told me that he was a master stylist, or that it was going to cost more. Just a little dissapointed, and not what I expected when I called to discuss the different price with the lady at the counter.. I probably wont be going here anymore..
