I love BayWay CrossFit! The first time I visited the box, I was welcomed warmly by two coaches, Robert and Matt. The owner, Richard, is very inviting and helpful as well. Richard is always quick to respond to questions (in person, phone call, or email), and runs an awesome box. All three of these guys, as well as Jamie, coach classes in a way that educates the athletes and encourages them to train at their own pace. They make sure the class understands movement patterns and ensure that the experience is always fun, exciting, and challenging. BayWay CrossFit also has a great community - athletes were very active in welcoming me into their box and introducing themselves to me. Ive enjoyed every moment at BayWay CrossFit, and most importantly, I enjoy all the people and my interactions with them. Richard, the coaches, and the athletes have been extraordinary. Its always great to talk with them, train with them, and hangout with them. Richard is always willing to talk, builds relationships well, and treats everyone with respect. His leadership is reflected in the quality of his coaches and the camaraderie amongst the athletes. Definitely drop-in if youre in town - call Richard if youre interested in training effectively with a smile on your face. Thank you Richard, coaches, and athletes for making my BayWay experience unparalleled and engaging. Ive genuinely enjoyed every second Ive been here. Im very blessed! Keep up with the awesome work :)

I joined CrossFit two years ago on New Years day as a 43 year old P90X graduate. Ive only gotten stronger since! Before joining, my work friends invited me to a P90X class. My face was ash-gray 15 minutes into it. We continued with DVDs for quite a while, until we all got bored and found that the CrossFit exercise variety made working-out interesting again. My first CrossFit Workout Of the Day (WOD) was Cindy(?): 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 squats, then repeat! I was so embarrassed as my workout ground to a halt and half the people around me seemed to be going even faster. Over two years, Ive watched the web-based workout diary at the CrossFit gym graph my back squats ascent from 150 to 300+ lbs. The first time I hopped up into the back of my truck without using my hands was when I realized how far I had come. Ive ridden 75 miles for a fundraiser on a bike after my buddy asked me me to go with NO prep, just CrossFit. I also recently went on a Tough Mudder with a high school buddy; boy was he surprised! He was always the athletic one. He commented on my big guns. Noticible! The support at the gym has been great. My coach AND classmates are always encouraging me. Ive gotten fit even on a all fast-food Houston diet. All the athletes there that are better than me keep encouraging me to eat better, but it is far more fun at work to pig-out in front of my coworkers and act like I dont know how I "keep it off."

Before attending this outstanding, welcoming facility, I was a typical "gym rat." I would make excuses as to why I wasnt able to make it to the gym at times when I was "tired." It was simply because I was bored of the same routines every day. Many ask why I do crossfit, or I hear comments about how crossfit is for women. That statement has proven to be 100% inaccurate, simply due to the fact that I have not seen gains this rapidly in any gym routine that I have ever tested. I am grateful for the coaching staff and all of the assistance that has been provided since day one of my attendance. I am now finally excited about waking up and pushing myself beyond any limit than I have ever pushed myself before. This is the place for any of those willing to dedicate themselves to transforming their body and mind, and a great place to receive the best training you could ever imagine.

Ive been going to Bayway CrossFit for around 8 months, and I love it! The coaches here are stellar and go over the movements every workout to make sure we stay safe and can work efficiently. Everyone is so supportive (whether youre the first one done or the last one working), so its a great team atmosphere. The workouts are tough, but easily scaled for newbies (like me) and its so fun to watch myself improve as I gain the strength to lift more weight and do more complex movements. Aside from the regular CrossFit workouts, BWCF also offers some specialized after-class programs to work on improving specific movements. When I first joined CrossFit, I struggled with even hanging from a pull-up bar. However, I recently completed five weeks of pull-up progression workouts, and can now do pull-ups! These workouts really work, and Im getting stronger every day. Highly recommend!!

Would I Recommend a Someone to try this Crossfit Gym? Yes, Because its a workout for everyone, coach always has options for your abilities. At first I felt ashamed because I couldnt do everything but now I dont care because I see my self getting better. I still sometimes get frustrated at myself but all I need to do is look up at someone and theyll encourage me to push harder. Its the people and environment thats is addicting about BWCF, you will find life long friends and people who push you to make yourself better and there is not a better feeling than that. I would recommend for you to come check it out!

BayWay CrossFit is an incredibly welcoming community. Ive dropped in multiple times and Ive never once felt like an outsider. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and approachable as well as good-natured and humorous. Everyone at the gym is rooting for your success while helping you to achieve the most you can in each session. The programming is well thought out and each element of the WODs are explained thoroughly. Ive never walked away from the box without a sense of accomplishment. This place could easily become a second CrossFit home. You wont be disappointed.

I loved this place and the coaches here! Everyone was so kind and encouraging. The coaches are all extremely knowledgeable, and pay close attention to form. They really put a lot of thought into the structure of their training each week, and each day is challenging. I miss it here, and if Im ever back in the area I can guarantee Ill be back. If youre reading this and in the area, I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out!

When I heard about Crossfit I was pretty skeptical of what it was. A lot of my friends had joined and were steadily joining. I decided Id give it a shot. After my first day I knew for a fact I was hooked. From the traininers, to the facility, to the family that weve built going there. This is the place to be either full time, part time, drop in no matter what its a great family atmosphere!! There is several coaches, one of which is a Regionals Athlete. If you want great results and a place to feel welcome....stop by and give a visit you wont be sorry!! Conventional gym will never be the same again......Arrive 15mins prior to your class to fill out waiver, get a good stretch and a fill of things.
