Putting aside the rude service and terrible follow through (including twice when I was told I would be called in ten minutes and actually was not reached until several hours later), the inspection of my car was concerning to say the least. After taking my car elsewhere, I was told that a few of the things that Two Fat Guys asked me to pay a hefty amount for were either not recommended for my car or did not need to be done. The man who was behind the counter was frequently short and rude as if I was putting a damper on his day by having my car in there. I realize that a $1,200 bill for my car is not a large sum for an automotive care center, but I thought that it would at least buy me a little better service. Thankfully I found Lone Star Automotive which did a much better job analyzing my car and was able to get my price down to $850-parts, labor, and tax included. Two Fat Guys did offer to price match but I didnt want to keep my car where it was not wanted. When I went to pull my car and move it to another location, at no point was there any attempt to restore the damage that had been done. I realize that this is often code for a monetary refund, but I would have been happy and could have potentially kept my car there if there could have even been a simple apology. Instead, when told that I was going to be moving my car to somewhere that I felt had better service, the gentleman behind the counter chuckled and just said "okay." They were more interested in where I was moving my car to than why I was moving it.

These people are knowledgeable, helpful and remarkably reasonable. While passing by on I-10 our trailer tire pulled apart and the tread went flying down the road. We looked on our GPS and found 2 fat guys auto - we called and they were open on Saturday afternoon. We limped into the repair center and the service manager looked at our tire and went to "get an estimate" - I was perfectly ready to get ripped off and pay hundreds of dollars for a trailer tire - I was stuck with no spare and had no place to go. What he came back with was an AMAZING offer - I wanted to kiss the guy. He could have taken me for a ride or sent me packing but instead he was kind and treated us like good friends. I can imagine if they treat a stranger just passing through this well that they must treat their local customers very, very well. They got the tire on my trailer in about 10 min, and they did a great job. I wish 2 Fat Guys Auto was in my town. A great local place where they take care of the customer with friendly service. One thing though - I just saw one heavy set guy, would not call him fat at all.

I was making a road trip from Houston to Tucson, Arizona with my ill father in an RV I bought on eBay as a Christmas surprise for my family. Just outside of San Antonio, we blew a tire and were fortunate to get off the exit where 2 Fat Guys is located. We saw the Goodyear Tire sign and stopped in without knowing anything about the place. The folks there were great! Even bought us a pizza as we waited for the tires (all them needed replaced) came in from San Antonio. Guys we all friendly and did their best to help us in a desperate situation. The price seemed very fair and we are satisfied and greatly appreciative. They could have easily ripped us off if they wanted, but the tire price was the same as the best deal we could find on the internet! Good people, friendly, and honest!

Thae price was a lil expencive but for the work they did and awesome job they preformed i give them two thumbs up. Iv looked really heard at my truck and they even wiped down and cleaned where they were working. I would definitely recomened this shop

They had the car over 2 weeks, they never called when they said they would if I wanted to know what was going on I had to call. Then the bill was much higher then they indicated it would be. I will never go back and would advise others to do the same.

Bad service! Very very rude! Dont bother waiting for good customer service.. The guy at the front counter came from the office behind the counter and was horrible! Took my car somewhere else..
