my truck was in a hit and run oct of 2010. it is a 2000 tahoe with a 10" and 35" tires. it was hit right on the front drivers side bumper and also the tire. my insurance told me to take it here so i said okay, but the truck is modified and should probably be taken to a specialist shop. helotes collision assured me there wouldnt be any problem. from what i remember, they didnt take long, maybe 2 weeks to do the repairs, but thats not what i was concerned about. when i got it back, my steering is HORRIBLE. my a/c did not work (didnt find out till the summer) and i told them to make sure the wheel hub was okay so that i dont get any lights on in my dash. one week later, a christmas tree of lights on my dash. this was also the same month i moved from san antonio to san marcos, and i was extremely busy with school and work and had no time to be taking it back in for more work and dealing with getting a rental car again and all that jazz. i had called them and told them about the issues and they said for me to bring the truck by. well the only time i was able to was on fridays. they also told me to take my truck somewhere to get the lights read to see what the problem was. REALLY? now finally today im driving and go to eat with my girlfriend. i walk outside to see trans fluid all over the ground. i have an aftermarket transmission cooler that is mounted and replaced the factory cooler. well there are 2 brackets behind it for my brushguard that were bolted in, but the bolts had broken off when the car was hit, and never replaced. the brackets had slowly been damaging the 125$ trukool 40k trans cooler i bought and destroyed it now. i had to bypass it on the spot to get it home. from what it seems like all these guys can do is read a manual and put things together. they may be aftermarket parts, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this out. do not recommend these guys working on any vehicle.

My vehicle was involved in a collision due to an ice storm in San Antonio (yes, I said ice storm) 8 years ago. It was towed to Helotes Collision and the fenders and hood were replaced and painted. This week the clear coat on the painted hood started to peel on the edges and flaked off in the middle. I was apprehensive to call them because it had been so long ago. I remembered them telling me about lifetime warranty on their work so I gave Carl a call. He took my vehicle in on Monday, repainted the hood and had it ready to go the very next day. Not only was it completed quickly the job was also quality. My vehicle was washed and vacuumed and the tires were dressed with shine. Outstanding customer service! The pride in their work shows through the quality they produce. I have recommended them for over 10 years and will keep doing so!!!

Helotes Collision Really took great care of our vehicle. They kept us informed the whole time and walked us through everything from the rental car to everything that needed to be done. Very friendly staff the lady at the counter is super sweet and very helpful. The quality is so good to I inspected the work and I cant find any flaw its looks brand new. Will definitely come back if I ever need work done on any of our vehicles.

Took my truck in after reading reviews about different collision shops. Also at the time (last year) although all the shops were booked for months, Helotes got me in quickly. My truck got hit by a tree limb when we had a bad storm. Helotes was great, my truck was fixed within a week & looked like new. Great customer service & their work is impeccable. Would recommend without hesitation.

I Took my King Ranch P/U there after a recent accident, my biggest concern was that my vehicle would be as good as it was before the accident, and it was, took about 5 weeks but when It was returned to me It looked and drove as good as it did before the accident (short if needing a new license plate), I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY for any automotive collision needs..
