I needed to store my vehicle for a few weeks while I had some renovations done. Being that I never store my vehicle outside, I needed to find a safe and easy to access storage facility. Ive always seen Extra Space Storage as its right around the corner from my place but never looked into them as I didnt have a need for storage. I called around to a few places and found that Extra Space had the best deal (just $29 for the first month!). I wasnt even sure I would need the storage for longer than a month and was told that since I wasnt on a term contract, I could simply move out before the month was over and not pay any more than the $29. Sounded great to me! I stopped by after work (nice that the customer service office is open until 6pm) and spoke to the very friendly and professional staff. The office was clean, neat, and organized. They were able to show me a unit and after going through all the details, I was sold! One thing that Iiked was that it appears that the facility has a manager that lives right on-site above the customer service center. With windows that look out above the entire facility, I felt very safe with leaving my vehicle here. Also, another thing that I took note of was when a person pulled in the gate, the staff took notice of the vehicle to watch for any suspicious activity. Wow! Very nice! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to store a few boxes of Christmas supplies to a 30 ft boat!

I was looking for special storage space in Addison area and after visiting few other places, Ive actually first been to Extra Space Storage on Addison Rd. They too didnt have the space I was looking for but the Manager/Employee was super-friendly and very helpful. After a good chat, he referred me to this location and confirmed that they have the space I needed! Upon arriving at the Waypoint location, the peeps here were just as great and personable as well. Location is good, access is easy and the property feels very safe and clean. After trying all sorts of storage facilities in 4 different states over the last 15 years, I actually feel loyal to Extra Space. Their locations are well built and they seemed to be very well run. Training is probably great since all the employees seem to be pleasant, friendly yet courteous and professional at all times. Id definitely recommend Waypoint location though, very nice property with various storage options of all sizes including spaces for boats, vehicles etc & youll truly enjoy dealing with the people there! 5 stars from me! Thanks & Keep up the good work!

First time dealing with the manager and was frustrated from the jump. A 10 minute errand turned out to be a 90 ordeal. I rented this unit on 8/27/16. I put a few things in there and it placed my lock. Today 9/4/16 I went to place some larger items. I find my lock has been cut and another has been placed. I call the office number which gives me a customer service number to call. The girl explains someone cut the lock last weekend and tells me the manager tried to call but my number was not working (per his note). I ask her if there is a note as to where my items are. She tells me hes on site and will be down to talk to me. Im walking up to the office and the manager comes down, first thing he says is "well are you going to come in or what? ". WTH?!? Why is he being a jerk with me? He the proceeds to tell me he left me a voice mail and sent an email. I got neither, if you remember the girl in customer service said he tried to call but the number was not working, now it seems it was working

When i was looking for a new storage place after leaving another storage company i was on the look out for somewhere i can put my stuff and not worry about rodents destroying my stuff like my last experience so when i found Extra Space Storage i asked alot of questions and some managers would rush you off the phone but the manager on waypoint drive in carrollton took her time and explained how she runs her facility and when i went to look at the property i noticed there were access gates on there sides and the place was clean and the one thing that stood out was that they have the carts where you can put your stuff on and roll it to your storage space unlike other places where you have to carry your stuff.I would recommend Extra space storage to any one because they are the cheapest and they have friendly staff

I won a storage war and the storage unit was at this location. a guy named Anthony called and told me I had to pick it up within 72 hours, I got there paid 150 for the unit and cleaning deposit. The guy that I hired to help me decided to leave in a few minutes. I told them that I would be right back. I got stood up time after time and did not get back till 80 hours... when I got there all the stuff had been thrown away... he then reported me to the Auction for Cherry Picking which was BS, All I had taken out was a box of toys for a single parent here where I am staying..... I left the furniture and took junk toys ... not cherry picking at all. The girl in the office is nice though. Oh and by the way Anthony You know that I reserved a unit and yet it wasnt there

Extra Space Storage is a very clean, secure facility. Their staff is helpful, friendly and professional. The place is clean, parking spaces large and the security is excellent. Their prices for parking are very competitive and better than another "well known" storage franchise facility. The management team lives "on site" which is just another plus in the security department. I visited three different Extra Space Storage businesses before I found one that could park my commercial vehicle and each one was clean, courteous and professional. I feel very confident parking my commercial vehicle in their facility and have been telling all my clients and business associates about Extra Space Storage.

I called to get some information because Im moving from out of town. I had no idea what I wanted or even what I needed. I had called dozens of places before this one and had nothing but horrible experiences with people that acted like I bothered them. Then, I spoke with Anthony who is the manager at this facility. He was so kind and courteous and took the time to explain all my options to me. I now know exactly what I want and need and exactly where Im renting my unit. Anthony made my day with his professionalism and caring attitude. I just wish that I would have called him first. This is the type of establishment and manager I want to trust my belongings with.

The staff Tina and Anthony were very professional. Tina explain exactly what size unit I needed and the unit was very clean. she showed me how to operate the gate and was very thorough. I noticed many security cameras and the facility looks very secure. the property was very clean and the landscaping was very well kept. I recommend this location to anyone needing storage space or a place to store a vehicle or RV. in my business a lot of my projects are out of town. I use mini storage facilities to ship my materials to the project. if theres an extra Space Storage in the town we are working I will now use them exclusively. thank you very much Tina and Anthony
