Stephanie, I have faxed the claim form today for our move/relo damage and missing items. Many attempts to contact Mike have failed as his cell phone voice mail and emails fall off the face of the earth. You are my only contact so I hope this reaches you at least. Please confirm that you have the Fax. Carol, I guess you and Steve had better results with IMS but unfortunately we did not. Mike has never returned any of my calls or emails. You would think that after spending $10k with a company you could get a call back or something. We are quite tolerant of moving as this was our 8th relocation but this one was the worst. I just want to let you know so you are aware next time or if we have another employee to relocate. • We had to clean all kinds of trash up left in the streets by the moving crew in the load and drop off locations. • They lost all the hardware for my office book shelf so I can’t put the shelves back in. This is an expensive piece. • Several items were broken. • They taped our dining room table hardware directly to the wooden table legs. Had this been in storage much longer it would have taken the finish with it. I removed it and put the table together myself because I did not want them to touch it. • The driver was very disorganized as they forgot to pack one of the closets and we had to put all that stuff in the car ourselves. I also have about 10 moving blankets because they left without unwrapping 3 pieces of furniture.

Mike was great while trying to get our business. Talked me into letting him store our stuff because if we needed anything he would be happy to locate it and bring it to me. Once I actually needed something he wouldnt return phone calls and then when he finally did I had to go to his place and look through the boxes to find what I needed. He told me that the boxes labeled living room would be out and waiting for me. When I arrived they werent even aware I was coming so I had to wait for them to pull the crates out and open them. This process took over 45 minutes. If I had stored by things close to homelike Id planned it would have been much easier. While going through the storage I found a panty box labeled rental. It was suppose to come to the regal house instead of going to the storage. Im just glad it wasnt food. We have several boxes come tonight rental that were suppose to go to storage. I asked 2 weeks ago for them to be picked up. The guys came today to get them and they were sent to our home instead of the rental. Im not really sure how this business stays open if Mike is this unorganized. Im afraid to see what our items will look like by the time we get them back. I was also told their storage was climate controlled. Our things were stored in wooden boxes in an open warehouse.

IMS helped put me in storage in their warehouse back in September 2009. The process was quick, easy and inexpensive, as was the climate controlled storage units I rented. After more than 4 years I have finally moved out of storage and I cant be more pleased. I did a self-move rather than have IMS move for me to save a little money, but this did not affect their customer service in any way at all. They were ready for my son-in-laws arrival with the truck for moving on the day planned, had a team of people to help him inventory and then load my things and were professional and courteous and helpful to him and me at all times. When I began unpacking my belongings once here at the end of the move, I was amazed at the care and skill with which my (priceless to me) things were packed. I have not come across one item that was damaged or broken and I am more than 97% unpacked at this point so I have faith the remainder of my things will be in perfect condition as well. I highly recommend this company for storage and moving. Thanks IMS for taking such good care of my things while I was unable to have them with me!

The packers were undermanned but capable. The loading crew was good. But the moving company lost several items in storage,including a Weber grill and a 7 foot long European workbench. The crew that unloaded our goods damaged some bookshelves beyond repair. Worst of all, we have yet to receive a fair response from the companys insurance firm...an inadequate offer of settlement came months after we filed our claim. We cannot recommend IMS or its entities at present. Revision: at last we received a settlement for our lost and damaged goods. While it was not what we thought just, it was adequate. Be sure you take photographs of all items before they are packed and be sure to supervise the unloading yourself. Regarding the response from the owner below, our furniture was delivered August 9, 2016 our claim submitted in Sept, but we did not finally settle with the company until, I believe, March 2017.

IMS Relocation is a top notch company! I have used IMS several times for personal and business purposes. From the moment you call to receive a quote, to the very last piece of the move is complete they are true professionals. We had two large moves happening at once and needed storage as well for 6 months. The IMS team was prompt, careful and efficient in every piece of our move. We were given assistance with delivery of boxes to use and once we were done they also where very fast to pick them up! They were on time and were very efficient during the actual moving process. The crew did everything we asked them to do and even some extra work. I cannot recommend this agent for Mayflower, which is unfortunate. The pre-move and actual move experience was very good. The after-move experience is terrible. I filed a claim for 3 items damaged during the move. It has been 5 months and the claim is still not settled. The Claims Company, Estes Relocation hardly returns emails, and never returns phone calls. I was told in late January that my claim settlement would be complete by end of week, then again in late February that my claim settlement would be sent. It is now late March and no settlement has been received. I have talked with Stephanie at IMS, who has assured me she will help me, but again, no help from her. I have another move to complete, but it will not be with this agent.
