I went in a long time ago to get my hair cut and get highlights and 5 hours later I walked out of his salon with wet hair & horrible highlights. I asked to darken up my hair and add rich golden highlights for dimension but ended up with bleach blonde highlights. He had a friend in who ended up washing my hair out and he did her hair while I was there (a full color and cut) which is fine he worked someone in but I sat in foils for about 45 minutes. I did not leave until 9 at night and had started my appointment at 4pm (and had the priviledge of leaving with wet hair)!!!!!! By the time I saw the highlights it was so late and he had not even began to cut my hair. I called him back the next morning when my sister asked if I did my hair myself and he got me in without hesitation (1 more hour) and put yet another toner on them to darken them up. He apologized and said he should have done something differently and would do a different process next time (not lighten and add color but just add the color or something to that effect). I liked the final result but it took a total of 6 hours and 2 appts to get a look I wanted. I think he is very talented but I will not return. After all these great reviews I wanted to love him.

If you are looking for an amazing hair stylist, this is the place and Kent is the name to remember. For the last 6 years, I have enjoyed carefree, trendy, customized-for-me hairstyles. If this all sounds too good to be true, it is, but there is a catch. The "catch" is that when you sit down on the chair and he asks you "what would you like done today?" You have to respond "do whatever you want." While that statement is incredibly shocking to some, the results are worth it! During this time, I havent had a "bad hair cut." I have gotten rid of all those worthless hair products and only maintain 5 items: shampoo/conditioner (whatever is on sale for $2), Frizz-ease, hair spray, flat iron (if that is the style I am going for.) I have come to realize that the biggest, most effective weapon I have at my disposal for a great look, is my stylist. Kent is the man, you wont be disappointed!

This is what I look for in a haircut. 1. The cut should suit me 2. Should look good without any product or styling, even better with !! :) 3. Should grow out well. I have tried everything from 12$ haircuts to really expensive stylists. And I feel that Kent is one of the best I have been to in this area. A lot of people who cut or style hair seem to have a menu of hairstyles they can give and will not budge from their comfort zone. Kent seems to be able to craft a haircut from looking at your face, feeling your hair, and talking to you about how you might want to look. We moved to the Valley Ranch - Coppell area about 7 years ago. I absolutely loved the lady who cut my hair before we moved here, and it took me 7 years of mostly horrible haircuts before I tried Kent and he is as good as she was. This is really good value for money. Try Kent.

Im happy for the first time in years with my new hair-cut.Kent listens to you .He makes a few suggestions based on your input and you can select the option that works the best for you. He is very thorough and doesnt hurry through.I have thick hair and it took him an hour to get me look the way I wanted to.He lets you know the time it would take, to get the desired result. I will recommend him to anyone.Please do not hesitate.He does a great job.You will not regret going to him. I will definitely go back

I have lived in Dallas for over a year and was going to someone different every time because I wasnt happy with anyone. I did a google search for salons and came across Kent at Soho. I have never had such a good quality cut in my life! Kent is meticulous and gave me just what I needed. I have since gone back for highlights and have gotten so many compliments on my hair. My mom and coworkers are now going and enjoying Kents fabulous work! Thank you Kent!

Kent is a master at hair consultation, color and haircuts! I found all of these reviews and decided to give Kent and Soho a try - and Im so glad I did. Kent did an exceptional job on my highlights and lowlights AND gave me insight into how to keep it looking great. I was surprised by some of the hair myths he cleared up. Its been over 3 weeks and my hair still looks fantastic! I will definately go back. Terri V.

Kent is superb! He is a perfectionist and he has given me the best cut and color Ive ever had. Ive never left Soho salon disappointed; I highly recommend Kent. But dont forget about Hortencia - shes awesome with childrens cuts. She cut my daughters hair and it looks amazing. Soho is the best Ive found.

Three wonderful visits. Started out with just a cut; everywhere I went people asked me "where do you get your hair done"? So then, I went back for highlights; I was thrilled with the results. Kents now my permanent stylist. My hair has NEVER looked this good. Thanks!

Started going to Kent because he was close to my old job; now I drive 20 miles to have him do his amazing (and quick!) razor cut on my short do. He carefully goes over each piece and sculps like an artist. Hes great!!!
