I have read all the reviews and can say they do not sound like the same place I went to. It also appears Rancourt has two GMap accounts with 2 different sets of ratings and reviews.... what is up with this? The other account if full of fake 5 star reviews. Strange... The reviews at this listing below appear to be legitimate. No one likes to be manipulated or feed false information. I like independently run businesses than larger chains. I would give them 5 stars for the quality of their body work and 1 stars for customer service, planning and communication. Lets break it down because I think I would use them again but they need to be managed. I took my truck in for minor fender body repair from a hit and run through the State Farm approved vendor program. I was going overseas for 11 days so I dropped my truck off expecting to have it done when I got back. They had a 8 day backlog. I was supposed to get a call and quote before work started. No call, no quote. Called on day 9, they couldnt find my paperwork said they would call back but no follow through. They never called. Day 11 called again, still couldnt find my paperwork. Finally got a call from the shop guy, they would rush my truck through the process. He was good, said they would try to have it done the next day. Success, they did it and it did looked great yet it was 3 days late. Front office staff obviously needs training and a new focus on customer service. It is easy for them to loose work in their process. The good part is they handle all the State Farm paperwork seamlessly.

EXCELLENT ratings are rare- but Rancourt service is EXCELLENT! A descent auto mechanic shop is hard to find. A GOOD one is almost impossible to find. But I finally found one! Ive been taking my autos to Rancourt Automotive for over nine years. They are the best and most reasonably priced auto service you will find ANYWHERE! Yeah, there are 4-5 other shops in the area, all within a mile of Rancourt- Ive tried them, just to see if they compare. NOPE, not one of them compares to the honesty, quality and service I get at Rancourt. None compare! I tried Firestone. I tried Angels- Whoa! They definitely do not compare. I appreciate an honest shop that doesnt over-charge or nickle & dime you. Rancourt has consistently, over the past nine years, done only the work that was needed- and at a competitive price. I wont go anywhere else! Ive never met the Rancourts, but I know one thing for certain... Rancourt knows how to hire GOOD people; excellent mechanics and service people. The level of honest, quality work and customer service exceeds expectations. Thank you Joel for your excellent service.

I took my daughters Jeep Wrangler in because there was anti-freeze leaking in the passenger floor board. I had taken it to a different shop and they diagnosed the problem as the heater core. They quoted me 750+ to repair. 500+ for labor. I took it to Rancourt because the first shop could not get to it fast enough. I dropped it off and they said it would be done in two days. I got a call the next day from BJ, much to my surprise he said they looked at the problem and it was just a hose fitting that was leaking. They could have changed the core (like I asked them) and I would never have known that was not the problem. It is rare that you find both a competent AND honest repair shop! Thanks BJ and team!!

I took my vehicle in for body work, they did a decent job on the body work but when I picked the vehicle up the check engine light was on. It turns out that a rodent had gotten into the engine compartment while the car was in the shop and chewed through some wires. Rancourt personnel were rude to me and refused to repair, or cover the cost to repair any of that damage that occurred while the car was in their care. Needless to say I am very disappointed that I took my vehicle in for body work and it was returned to me weeks later needing several hundred dollars of mechanical work. I would not recommend any business that treats their customers the way Rancourt has treated me.

Rancourt Collision and Auto Repair has repaired our vehicles a few times over the pat several years. While doing the repair for our vehicle this past December, the insurance company wanted to cover $500 less than the actual repair cost. Mr. Rancourt called the insurance company and went out of his way to help expedite the claim and make sure the insurance company covered the entire repair. You will find more than a steller repair shop at Rancourt as Mr. Rancourt is truly an advocate for the customer. I will hands down have all my repair work down with this facility. I strongly recommend his repair and mechanic services.

Marc has very bad customer service /communication skills. He was not trying to help nor when they got paid, wasn’t about the customer any more. I would take my kids bike to this shop. After they got paid it was like they had a screw me attitude about my car. Car was not ready on time nor did they try to compensate me for their mistake and my time. I didn’t get a rental car for the extended time they had my car nor were they trying to help me get in one. I do not think this is how you should treat customers especially a paying one. He also lied about repairs he made to my car. They suck please think twice.....

Ive been here twice and both times the guys helped me out so much. Im having some money issues at the moment and got in a minor collision. My hood was stuck shut and I needed an oil change ASAP for a business trip. I asked if they could just pry my hood open somehow, I dont care what kind of damage they do, as long as I can get my oil changed for my road trip since I had no time to order a new hood. They FIXED my hood latch and only charged me for the oil change. These guys are so friendly and helpful. Im only doing business with them from now on!

Sadly, It seems like we live here due to the issues with my wifes car. BJ and the guys are always friendly and quick. Ive been in with a window issue on my truck. BJ told me how much it would be if he did the work. He then proceeded to show me what I would have to do to fix the issue myself and how to change the part out so that I did not have to drop it off and get charged. Who else would tell you that it would be cheaper and easier to do it yourself? These guys are great. I highly recommend.

I have had Marc Rancourt work on my car several times. I have a custom car that has many challenges. In all my years I have never found anyone so competent, honest, and trustworthy in any business. Marc and his team have provided the best customer service I have ever experienced in any business. No one will ever work on any of my vehicles but this exceptional company.
