If you need a reliable, reputable, company that stands behind their service, look ANYWHERE but here. Will, Deb, and Mindy are anything but those things. If there was something below one star, thats what they really deserve. We were moving approximately 1.1 miles. Not very far, right? Looking for an inexpensive moving company. 1.1 miles cant be that difficult. Far enough to break and make unusable a $2,700 television forever. Dont worry though, I was paid for their admitted mistake. I was paid $108.00. 60 cents per pound "as my contract read." The TV was a year old so yeah, maybe it depreciated 96% in a year and two months. I went to non binding mediation with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, me, and good ol Apple Moving as that is Texas protocol. After being put on hold multiple times for Deb to speak to someone else who could make decisions for Red Apple. (You see, Deb, who was sent to mediate, couldnt actually negotiate or make decisions apparently.) She came back to say that since I had threatened to give them bad reviews online, she wouldnt do the right thing and pay for her employees mistakes. I didnt threaten bad reviews though. I threatened honest reviews, and here we are. We were told by the mediator that 85% of his cases are settled. Id say thats relatively good odds, and shows that some companies to what is right when their customers make mistakes. Deb never even made an attempt to settle anything since she didnt have the authority to do so. She said I was demeaning to her employees. When asked repeatedly, for a circumstance in which that happened, she could not provide a single instance. No examples, just that my tone was harsh. Im sure it was since your employee broke my almost $3,000 television and then sent me a check for $108. The mediator repeatedly asked her if she was sure that she didnt even want to offer a dime. He seemed completely dumbfounded with her lack of concern and inability to do the right thing. I have attempted contact via email, voicemail, and messages to speak to the owner, Wil Chilton, I have yet to hear from anyone. I take that back. I did get a brief email saying he had spent the last 6 weeks out of the country for him and his wifes anniversary. A trip it seems I helped pay for. Take a look at his FB, its quite classy. I can tell you how many times it says the word pu$$# on it if you think that is appropriate, cant find it, or find it classy for a business owner to have on his Facebook just let me know. Ill help you. I did leave off the part that the movers conveniently brought a trailer that was too small so they would have to make two trips. They blamed that on us too.

DO NOT HIRE APPLE MOVERS!! I had the worst moving experience ever with apple movers. It took forever for them to move our house and they damaged every piece of furniture that I owned, literally. They also damaged my door jams and placed several boxes upside down. I think a majority of the damage was do to the fact that Apples only places plastic wrap around the furniture instead of using moving blankets. I called the head office and spoke to Deb the moving coordinator/customer service. After sending tons of pictures she said the damage was very apparent, and she would need to talk to the head guy to see what they could do. They said they would contact a repair firm to repair the damaged furniture, but could not fix any damages to our house. After two months of excuses from the repair firm, which is really just one guy named Bruce (his dad was sick, then he was sick, etc.). I finally got ahold of him to come out to our home and look at the furniture/start working. He showed up looked around, and then made some lame excuse that the weather did not permit him to start (the weather was fine, truly.) He said he would come back the following Wednesday to start work. He then called me the Tuesday before and canceled on me again. I was done after that so I called Deb back at Apple moving and asked them to pay for the damages. She never called me to discuss payment, just sent me a $300 check in the mail. I was so mad I called up to the office to discuss. She said legally they only have to pay sixty cents per pound. The damage was so bad $300 would not even cover a quarter of the damage, led alone to repair all my furniture and home! After 3 months of arguing and taking time off of work to meet a repair man who canceled every time. I am now taking the time to write a review to say DO NOT HIRE APPLE MOVERS!!!

Ive used Apple Moving twice before with no problems. This finally time I was scheduled for an appointment between 2-4. I got a phone call saying the movers were running late and would be at my apartment after 5pm. I waited and waited. I finally called the office before 6pm and was unable to get anyone to answer or even left a voicemail. The line kept hanging up on me. I had my sister call as well getting the same results. I started emailing asking about an ETA for movers. I got nothing and finally gave up at 7pm after 5 hours of waiting. I just got an email the next day saying sorry they couldnt help me. I am updating my review to add recent interactions with this company. After posting reviews about the awful experience with Apple Moving, the owner called me and apologize for what happen to me. He said his company has never had a no show in the 4 years that he owned the company. He offered to compensated me for my negative experience as soon as he returned to the office, along with offering to help with my next move. I waited for a week before calling about a status of check. The owner told me he wrote the check on the 1st and went out the previous day. After waiting another week and not receiving anything, I followed up again with a phone call. I’m still waiting for a return phone call almost a week later. I hope that anyone who decides to deal with Apple Moving will have better experience than me.

Horrible moving experience; Id give 0 stars if I could. After arriving, 1 of the 2 movers got to work while the other one proceeded to nickel and dime me over little things to the tune of $350 partially because he miscounted my boxes by 30! I was able to recoup some of that by moving my 5lb nightstand, 2 jackets, 3 picture frames, vacuum, and door mat myself. It then took the 2 movers 6 hours to move my 2bedroom apartment to a house 10 miles away. They would wrap up a desk or dresser (without checking to see if anything was in it), then throw it over their back upside down, and then ask if there was anything breakable in it! And then when we finally got to the new house, they didnt bother reading what room the boxes went into, they just stacked it all in the dining room. My wife was furious and since apparently there is no supervisor or owner available on weekends she called the office the following week. She explained the situation to some lady who instead of correcting the situation or even apologizing went into some rant blaming us for our experience. My mother-in-law is in the process of moving her 4 bedroom house and was going to use Apple. After our experience she opted to use another company instead. DONT USE APPLE MOVERS!
