STAY AWAY! This company has complete disregard for their customers. If they dont break something, is because you are lucky. We spend OVER $1000 for a less than 1600sf home from Dallas to McKinney and had our babys furniture damaged, which we spent a lot of money with. It started when they arrived, 3 skinny teenage boys, which is fine as long as they did their job, which they didnt. My wife was at the house while I was at work, but because we had no AC and a 9month baby she had to leave. My neighbor, later on, told me one of the movers LEFT the house for a while, while the 2 others were wasting time. He has cameras in front of his house and he has shown me so I can prove it. When we arrived in McKinney they were so behind they had to ask for assistance when 2 other teenagers showed up. At the old house, I saw one of the boys dropping the tv on the floor slightly, but I didnt say anything because I thought they would deal with the damages. As they arrived they dropped my 60" tv and broke the base. They probably felt bad about it and mounted the TV for us, since we cant use the tv unmounted anymore. We were fine with that. We took pictures of all the damages and they promised "they would take care of it" (their word). Monday, first thing in the morning we tried to reach out to Alex, which they said was their boss and they asked us to tell him about the damages. First it went to mailbox, then later the phone was disconnected. We called the main sales line (which you will discover is the only one they answer) and we finally got ahold of a customer service person named Debbie Bennet. She told us we needed to file a claim and send it back. We did and she auto-replied saying she would get back to us in 2 days. 5 days later she hasnt and I struggle to find her (if you dial 3 on their phone you will see). I left many voice messages and she never replied. Friday afternoon one of their sales person finally transferred me to her phone line, after mentioning all the facts the call suddenly dropped and she never called me back. I tried to call her back right away and she wouldnt answer. This morning (monday) I called at least 5 times before I had to get really mad and having somebody transferring to her. She said again she would have to schedule somebody to go fix the babys furniture and that she would be able to pay $0.60 a pound for the TV they broke. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they want to pay for my 60" tv by the pound. So trust me, if you have anything you like in your house, DONT TRUST AB MOVERS TO TOUCH IT. They will destroy it and blame it on you, like they blamed on me for having the TV mounted by THEIR employees. Stay away from this company. They are OVERPRICED, NOT EFFICIENT and they DONT RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION THEY REQUIRE YOU SIGN A RELEASE SAYING YOU WILL NOT MAKE DISPARAGING/NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THEM ON THE INTERNET AND RELEASE THEM FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS. This is more than likely why there arent more negative reviews and their rating is so high....... I also think this is a really shady and unprofessional business practice. Here is my experience. I have successfully used AB Moving prior to my move in April. The first move went great and the crew completed the job quickly and efficiently. They were professional and didnt mess around. I guess that was the exception to the rule. This time was AWFUL. The crew this time was soo slow and inefficient. It does not take three men to take one dolly of boxes down an elevator (AB claims this is their policy). It took 10 hours for them to move a one bedroom apartment about 5 miles. The crew were goofing off and spent most of their time gossiping or on their phones making plans for the evening (one was on the phone while trying to carry things into my house). Finally, the company was completely unhelpful when it came to handling the situation. I sent several emails and left a phone message while the move was going on. I never received any type of communication. When I finally called to try to resolve the issue with them I was met with a hostile attitude and told that I was completely in the wrong and unreasonable. I dealt with Christy V. in their Claims/Customer Service department who was completely unwilling to make a fair and reasonable offer to resolve the issue. She was very rude, unprofessional and even insulting. She even told me that my issue had "taken up too much of her time". She kept trying to defend her position by reading me the good reviews of their company from Yelp and telling me that she "received a quote from another company that quoted the same amount of time for a move". She never provided me any documentation of this quote. While unpacking I found several items had broken, which I told Christy V. who never even acknowledged this fact. Her follow up emails to our conversation only increased in rudeness and hostility and only proved just how unprofessional she and this company are. While unpacking I found several items had broken, which I told Christy V. who never even acknowledged it. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was quickly turned down. I will never use AB moving again and would NOT recommend anyone else use them. They DO NOT care about customer satisfaction, only about getting your money. There are much better moving companies out there worth your time and money.

The WORST experience ever!!! I was grateful at first to find a moving company that would help me out it such a short time span, my husband is in the military and deployed I only had 2 weeks to move from TX to CA, I wasnt too excited about the cost but there wasnt much I could do. I paid my first half and had them come out to load my stuff and pack a few more boxes (my husband is deployed and I was packing on my own). They didnt pack ANY of my things properly and about 95% of things arrived to me damaged or broken including a whole bed frame. From the beginning I had to move things into a general location in the living room for them to load it on to the truck. Once in California the people who were hired through AB moving did not come through as they were supposed too. My bed wasnt put together properly, my sons bunk bed was not put together at all and my kitchen table was half put together. Kyle from AB moving said he would find someone to come help put the bunk bed together and did not follow through. No one ever sent me a claims form. They pay 60 cents per pound of damaged item which wont cover the cost of a new bed, new entertainment center, a new lamp, ext in which they broke or damaged. They did not wrap my mattresses so they arrived dirty. Ive complained and am now moving into another home for reasons and have asked AB moving to reimburse some of my $6000+ that I paid them so that I could find new movers to help me move. (This is all in a 2 week time period) Brent from AB moving said hed help me move to repay me for all the trouble. I didnt find out until the day before that he would only pay for 2 hours for the same guys to come out and move me which is about a 5 hour job and Im supposed to fork out $300 plus $60 for travel. Yet I wasnt informed still that I am going to have to fork out ALL the money first and then AB will pay me. I dont have that money as I gave it all to AB moving to move me correctly the first time. The excuses I received as to why my stuff arrived damaged are as followed as per Brent: 1. The movers could have been having a bad day; we are all humans 2: The roads are bumpy to California (my husband and I loaded a uhaul and drove from CA to TX ourselves without anything being damaged) All in all I will NEVER recommend this company in fact Ill tell all my Military families and friends to stay away from this company. Way to help out a family who is defending this country. I think a report to the BBB is in their very near future
