Food: 5 Decor: 1 Service: 3 God these tacos were amazing. After spending a summer in Temecula, I was sick of tacos. Sure, I had some good ones, but the majority of them were more or less mediocre. This, however, was completely different. My friends wanted to drop by here around 9pm, and I was absolutely starving when I showed up. I opted for the sampler (one of each) with an extra picadillo. At $1.75 each, youll probably want 4-6 to fill you up. Here are my rankings: 1. Carbonara: soo goood 2. Pastor: yum 3. Chicken: not bad for chicken tacos 4. Picadillo: okay, but pretty spicy 5. Beef fajita: not that great The sauces are quite spicy, so dont put too much. The red one is spicier than the green one. They dont have seating since its a gas station, so we all ate in our cars like everyone else. The place is a little shady, and there were two cop cars outside, along with an officer standing inside the entrance of the gas station. Definitely will be coming back for more.

The ladies that worked there were not friendly, didnt even say hi when we checked out or bye have a nice night...nothing. They were more preoccupied talking amongst themselves and flipping through their phones. One of the girls was even too busy to sell us a Large FC shirt. Too lazy to look for a large and told me we are sold out of that size. I asked her if she wouldnt mind looking to be sure and VIOLA..."how did that get there!?" Even the girl behind the fried pie counter didnt know how to fix a box for a dozen of pies! This was ALL IN ONE VISIT...our second time there bringing family to try the tacos. But it gets worse...the meat from the pastor tacos was undercooked and my husband suffered food poisoning for the next 24 hours! Sure the tacos are cheap and tasty but we lost all interest in the Fuel City hype after getting violently ill! We will not be returning and I HOPE the owners read this! RETRAIN YOUR STAFF IN CUSTOMER SERVICE and IN THE KITCHEN!!! Please!

I try to make the trip out here from Fort Worth as much as possible. I absolutely love their tacos! The picadillo and pastor are great, but the real reason to come here is the barbacoa. Their barbacoa reminds me of when i was a little 8 yr old tacosita growing up in the small town of Ortega, right across the chasm from old El Paso. Mi Abuela used to marinate her barbacoa in a special blend herbs and chilis, and a secret "nectar." "45 days" she would say en espanol. "45 days till we cook!" Then, she would slow cook the meat for a minimum of 103 days on the ground in the scorching desert sun. The visions we saw as we waited, eating nothing but peyote and drinking nothing but mescal. 103 days later we would sup the toughest, most diseased riddled tacos in the world! Oh the hospital we would go to after that! ...Wait, fuel city is nothing like this. Fuel city is amazing! ...I think Mi Abuela was insane! ...Wait, Im from Ohio. Go to fuel city.

April 8, 2017 Today I visited Fuel City for the first time. In the past, I have heard about their great tasting tacos but never took the time to visit. On today, that has changed. Javier took my order. He was personable, charming, friendly, and offered great customer service. After scanning the menu, I ordered two Pico D. tacos. Javier asked did I want flour tacos or corn. I asked him which was healthier. He recommended the corn as the healthier option. Following his advice, I ordered two Pico D. corn tacos. After less than 2-3 minutes, he called me back up to retrieve my order. The ground beef was seasoned to perfection with cilantro and onions. So freakn! good that I went back and ordered two more. Not to mention inexpensive!!!! Fuel City, although fuel wasnt my objective today your staff and them delightful tacos has gained another customer.

The place is utterly disgusting. The fuel center and car wash parking lot are covered in oil so good luck with your carpets in your car. I approached the manager of the carwashto let him know that his vacuum cleaner hose had stained my seat and floor and his response was thats not my problem and Im at lunch. After I continued to freak out on one of his employees, A different young man came over and took care of the spots which took him maybe four minutes to do. I felt sorry for that guy was he was the only employee that was worth having. I tried to call the main fuel center to speak to the manager and no ever seemed to answer the manager line. I called numerous times. Terrible customer service and desperately needs a washing of its own!! Will never return!

July 5th...12am...inside Fuel City about to order after standing in a long line for 20 mibutes and an announcement is madw taht the store will be closing and those who are in line ordering will be made to go stand in an even looutsidine outside. I asked one of the people working inside what that means and he doesnt say aanythng, disrespectfully ignores my question then says you gotta go outside. Then he begins to kick customers out while telling the taco people on the inside to stop taking taco orders. TACKY!!!! Then when I call back to complain, the cashier says, "well we told yall 10 minutes ago to go outside. Too many black people in the store not listening! " Well, this is what we get for patronizing Fuel City in Dallas...never again!!!!

Never stop at this place because security sucks and your vehicle will get damaged because of lack of security patrol. My pickup was just sabotaged by some black man that advertises for a mobile repair (H&J mobile repair sticker on the door of his black ford pickup). He cut my starter cable wire while I was inside getting food and bathroom break(that I later found out from a witness). Then comes to my rescue to fix it but charged me 60.00 to get it started and all he did was get under the truck and connect the wires (that he cut). After I got home to investigate just what had happened and found my starter wires cut. Ill never ever stop here again and hope no one else will to keep from being a victim too. I

I went for tacos for the family. First of the guy taking my order was on the phone holding a conversation while I was telling him what I wanted. I wasnt sure if he was talking to me or the person on the other end of the phone, it was extremely annoying. I asked him to repeat my order since he didnt have it right the first 2 times and he got upset at me.... like how hard is it to press buttons. Anyways, as I was going to pay he said cash only. I have cash in my wallet but Im glad I had the chance to walk away. Worst experience ever at a fuel city. Dude, get off your dam phone, I know you work at a taco stand but be a bit professional while taking orders.

I watched this place grow from a small station that mainly sold beer, to a full blown truck stop, car wash, taco stand, with live djs on Friday nights. But in all the expansion they still have one bathroom with one stall....they can gas 40 cars at a time fuel 7 rigs, wash a constant line of cars, serve breakfast lunch, and dinner to hundreds of people, keep up with a heard of longhorns out back, even a nice collection of exotics and bronze statutes....You come in off the road to get fuel and gotta go, its a craps shoot literally if your gonna be able to go!
