BEWARE! GET A FIRM QUOTE FROM THESE GUYS. They charged me 275.00 for less then 15 minutes of actual work. They set an appointment with Oncor to install 2 lugs in our meter box. They tell me the oncor guy was 30 minutes late, apparently thats my fault or problem. They tell me it took less then 15 minutes to install the lugs, seems reasonable. They bill me for 2 1/2 hours and 2 electricians! Yes 2 electricians to install 2 lugs in a box, REALLY!! When I questioned the bill Sam says I better pay it or he will call the inspector to revoke the permit and shut off the power! It is interesting that he says he had to meet the inspector on a separate trip when in fact he told me on the phone that they had worked with this inspector enough that the inspector just released the job over the phone...whats up??? Also the inspector told me the permit was 100.00 yet over the phone Sam told me it was 200.00 and on my bill it was 150.00. I may just take this one to small claims! Two electricians I guess one for each lug! Also the 275.00 did not include the permit so the total was 425.00!!!

This review is in response to Scotts Review. I am an electrical contractor in Dallas. Dont know the folks Glow Electric, but I can tell you, if you call my company and we pull a permit, drive across town and pay two electricians 2-1/2 hours labor, not to mention the time you dont see dealing with Oncor and the city, risk our life to open your meter base. It will cost you a lot more than $275. Youre the worst kind of customer a person can have. You write reviews like this when anyone can clearly see you are the bad person, not them.

Glow Electric replaced our breaker box after it was damaged in a storm. They responded quickly to my call, gave me an estimate of the cost to replace it, were working on it within a couple of hours, and finished the job before the end of the day. There was a $1,000 difference in their high and low estimate; however, the actual bill was less than the low estimate.

We have used Glow on multiple occasions: upgrading our electrical panel and installing ground wires, installing a can light, multiple outlets, etc. Theyre very affordable and efficient with their time. I would happily recommend them to anyone.
