Back in 2012, I was on rotation in the area as a poor student. In my sleep-deprived state, I accidentally hit a stationary object (oops) with the corner of my front bumper. There were a few minor scratches in the paint, which were inconsequential to me on my student budget, but more worrying to me was approximately 6" dent I had made. I was completely mortified, as I had never hit anything in my life and had no idea how much repairs would cost. Due to close proximity to the clinic I was working at and great reviews (including one from a good friend of mine), I went to Harveys. They were pleasant and courteous, but told me the bumper would need to be completely replaced, and due to the pearl white paint job on my Mazda, cost of replacement and paint would be several hundred dollars. I told them I was on a budget, and asked whether there were any less than ideal but more affordable alternatives, but they offered none. I ended up going to another auto repair shop in Dallas, where they made no mention of needing to entirely replace the bumper. They told me they could simply remove the bumper and push out the dent. For this, they charged me only $70, about a tenth of the cost of the repair suggested at Harveys. Other than the few minor scratches that arent even noticeable without close inspection, no one can even tell that I had a minor accident. Its been almost five years since, and I still have had no issues with the repairs done at the other shop. Harveys, I appreciate that you were up-front about the cost, but I would highly suggest you offer your potential customers cheaper alternatives, because not everyone wants to (or is able to) pay ten times more for a job thats only marginally better asthetically.

I recently took my car to Harvey’s for an estimate (hail damage and collision repair). I was greeted by John Harvey, the owner. He was very personable and welcoming. I explained reason for my visit and he listened to what I wanted before offering recommendations. I didn’t feel hassled or up charged for repairs. He made reasonable, affordable recommendations. He also quoted “really” close to what insurance was willing to pay. Other body shops wanted to charge a lot (thousands) more. And Harvey gave an honest quote without knowing how much insurance was paying. I dropped my car of on a Thursday evening after work (4PM). And received a call on Monday informing me that my car will be ready after 3PM. He even did a few other services for no additional cost (headlights cleaned, cleaned inside of car, etc).Overall I’m very satisfied with the service I received from Harvey’s and would highly recommend his business.

Have had numerous vehicles repaired and repainted at other body shops over the years. Usually ended up in some level of frustration. I had my car towed to Harveys P&B after reading all of the great reviews. Well turns out my car was a total loss and I did not get a finished product from Hs P&B but I can tell you what that John was very helpful each time we spoke. He was very diligent in returning calls which I very much appreciated. I am convinced based on all of the interactions I had with this business that I will likely send anything I need repaired will go to Harveys as my first choice. Thanks Guys! Tom Gordon

I am so happy! My car is perfect - it looks amazing, and I am so impressed with the service I received from Harveys. The GM, Mike Owens was especially great. He took the hassle and worry out of the situation for me, dealt with the insurance and helped me make arrangements with the car rental service. It was the easiest, most convenient experience with a body shop Ive ever had. I could not have asked for a better customer experience - and my car looks brand new! I own a new BMW M4, I was out eating and some one backed into the side of it!! Was a hit and run!! Never thought my car would look the same again!! I did lots of research on good vehicle repairs, and came across this place and noticed the high ratings. I can only say my car looks better than it did Before getting hit. They cleaned it buffed my rims and did a perfect job on matching the paint. If there was ten stars I would give them that rating... take your car there and you will not be disappointed.

I needed some repair work done on my car in order to turn it in at the end of my lease. They were able to do the work much cheaper than if I had turned it back into the dealership. They were great to work with - very professional & friendly. The repair work was exceptional - my car looked like it came from the factory. I will continue to use Harveys Paint & Body and will highly recommend this business.

John and his crew are great operators. They were right in line on price (lower than the dealers and Service King), scheduled work within a week of the estimate, were done ON TIME AND COMPLETE! Best of all, they keep you smiling with their easy going manner and the actual price was right on the estimate. I highly recommend shopping them first.

Maybe my experience was an isolated one, but it took over a week to get my car repaired. Things were missing from inside my car. Nothing of real importance, but still... Pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Communication from shop very poor. I wouldnt take my car back here, but thats just me. Car was repaired perfectly, just poor service.

John Harvey is like Michaelangelo, lol!!! Ok, Ive had some bad fender benders, and my car has always been restored to much better condition than even before- its like having a good dream. Johns third generation in this biz, and his and Mikes work is great art. I cannot say enough super things about these guys!!!

Friendly staff, but they over price you when youre a women. I walked in to ask for a quote on a door and they said it would be at least a couple thousand. All the car had was some scratches on the side of the door. My friends car was fixed for 700 and it had several huge dents on top of the missing paint.
