I have went through several wrecks in my Ford Mustang and every time my car was immaculately repaired by Herbs auto body shop in Plano off Coit Road. Marty, a man that works there is awesome and he is a real professional and authentic all around cool man and a Navy Veteran, he will always have my respect. Teresa or Theresa, not sure if she spells her name with a h in it, who works the front desk is really nice and professional, although I on purpose for the fun of it call her Tammy. The business is outstanding to me and I have had nothing but positive experiences. That being said any business just like people on a individual level can have bad days and make mistakes too. If other customers had a issue I am sure all they would have to do is politely and respectfully explain the problem and it would receive the necessary attention it needs. If anybody is rude, it is the people that work for Enterprise rental car and they are located in the same building as Herbs auto body shop for the convenience of customers who may need a rental car. However, I have no idea why but several times a number of the employees for Enterprise seemed rude and impolite as well as unprofessional with me and some other customers. If as a individual customer you had a bad experience and it can not be dealt with or the conflict resolved than you can always file a civil law suit in court but need to hire an attorney. For customers and people in general who may not know, defamation of character is a civil intentional tort, and if you on purpose malign someone or a business in their reputation and good name and it affects them adversely the person or business can civilly sue you for defamation of character. If you as a customer had a bad experience,you have a legitimate reason to express it in writing, however, if it is false and malicious with intent or in some cases even by accident, you need to know you can face a civil law suit and civil law is all about money and economic damages. Just like it remains unacceptable to destroy a individual in their reputation, it is not acceptable to intentionally destroy a business in their reputation either. Some of you that post reviews not just here but for any company need to know this. In addition, I had went to the Walmart up the street and accidentally left my car keys on the passenger seat and locked my keys in the car. Marty, who is a awesome man, got in his jeep and drove to come pick me up at the Walmart and took me to my apartment to get my spare keys and also drove me back to the Walmart parking lot and there was nothing in it for him. He is a awesome man and does great work, and he works for a outstanding company. Most people today do not have the character that Marty has and he is a cool and special person and for sure rare to find in contemporary society.

In most businesses, when a customer enters the office, they are acknowledged. I walked in and there was a representative to the left at the Enterprise desk and there was no Good morning! Someone will be with you in a minute or Ill get someone to help you. I stood there I know 2 minutes and she then made a call about a rental. After getting off the phone, she got up from the desk and walked in my direction. And I hadnt opened my mouth to ask is anybody working here, she would have kept walking towards the glass doors. I felt that the customer service here is poor and its my first visit. I guess all her and the actual receptionist were really worried about was eating Chic-fila! If State Farm had other inspection locations, I would prefer to go there because this place is just not what I expected. I thought about leaving my car here for the repairs but not anymore. No thank you! If Im not worthy enough for acknowledgement, I dont feel that this place should get my business but it probably doesnt matter because Im sure since I wasnt of another race, then I didnt need help. Im not a mean person nor am I races nor do I deal with racial people but clearly people are too into themselves or just rude to even notice other human beings. Great way to start off the morning! I have been a customer at this location for about 17 years and have had many visits from people bouncing off of me over the years. This time however, I am disappointed with the outcome of my latest repairs. I just had my car in for repairs from a minor accident. When I picked up my car the repairs looked ok, but later when I looked at it, I noticed that there was a bit of trash in the paint, the new fender didnt line up very well and there was a drip of paint on the hood. They also left the valve stem cap off for the wheel that had to be repaired. I took the car back over there today and they took it back to try to resolve the issues. They were able to get the trash out of the paint but it left a small chip in the brand new paint. Also the paint drip in the hood is still there, and there is no valve stem cap. I pointed this out to the estimator and he told me that theres nothing they can do and sometimes trash just gets into the paint. Needless to say, I will be finding a new body shop. Very shotty work, and poor quality control and to top it off they just disregarded the issues. UPDATE: I spoke with the shop manager and they were able to "mostly" fix the issued I had.

I hope I dont have to go back to use the "lifetime warranty" - Took my suburban to Herbs in Richardson to have a small fix on the front left bumper and fender. The first time I went in to pick it up, I found flaws in the paint job and new scratches on the bumper. They were very appologetic and took it back in, put me back in a rent vehicle and set off to repair it again. Second trip to pick it up went better and the paint job looks good, however, I now have a service airbag code on the computer (wasnt there when I brought it in). They tell me the insurance wont cover it because it couldnt have happened when the truck was hit which is true. I have to take the truck on my own dime to have it diagnosed. $350 later, they tell me that they didnt break it and will not cover the repair. DONT take your vehicle to them for repair. Theres no telling what problems it will come away with.

Im new to Dallas area and someone knock off my side view mirror while park in uptown. After surfing the web, I finally found a replacement. I googled a few body shops to fix it, and I came across Herbs Body shop. I called Herb Body shop earlier today and Jesse answered the phone. I explained my issue and he said bring it by. Around 3:30 I stop by and asked for Jesse. I told Jesse I had been taking care of car stuff most of the day due to a blowout on GB Turnpike. He said give me 15 mins and Ill let my tech look at it. Sure enough 15 mins later, here comes Jesse. He said you are good to go. No charge! He said since you are having a bad day-my tech said dont worry about it. That made my day. Thank God for Awesome people and service!
