I own a 2010 Lexus IS250C. (Tracking Number 607682) The first thing I would like to comment on is the quality of the repair, I just picked up the car today and everything looks really good, i havent discovered any discrepancies with the repair, I would give them a rating of good on the quality of the repair. Park place had the car from Aug 23 thru Oct 18, 2016. The repair should have only taken Two weeks (my insurance company quote stated it could be done in 4 days), I understand that at times it can be difficult working with insurance companies (They tend to work really slow on claims) so I can excuse the extra time it took to repair my vehicle, but what I cant excuse is the lack of communication to the customer, by Park Place Bodywerks. Park Place Bodywerks has a great website, which you can use to check the status of your repair, but it is unforturnate that they dont really make full use of it. I had a difficult time trying to figure out my repair tracking number (which you must have in order to track your repair online), i finally had to call the receptionist to get it ( which kind of defeats the purpose of the tracking system, I could just ask what the status of my car was). I tried to monitor the status of my repair through the website and noticed that it wasnt being updated. There is an option on the page which allows you to ask questions to the associate (which would be great if they actually used it). I asked a couple of questions and it was almost two weeks before I got a response and I only got it after I called the associate. They state on the website that every time they update the status of the repair they also send you a text. I never received a text. Whenever I tried to call the associate, the Park Place bodywerks receptionist would always answer and then I would be transferred to the associates voicemail and he would NEVER call me back, even after the car was 3 weeks overdue. I would give Park Place bodywerks a rating of terrible on their customer communications. If you have to get your car repaired quickly because its a car that you need for your primary everyday use I would recommend you dont use Bodywerks, but if its a car you can do without for a couple of months even if its only a minor repair then bodywerks might be the place for you.

Took my 9 month old 2012 Lexus RX to these guys to fix some hail damage. After a 2 month wait they got us into the shop and worked on the car for 7 weeks. When I went to pick up the car (September 2012) they brought it out with 8 different scratches on the bodypanels that I hadnt seen before. I pointed them out, they told me theyd "buff them out" and I could pick the car up the next day. Back the next day, 8 scratches are gone but we have 5 new ones. Back the next day theyve buffed through the clearcoat and into the paint on my drivers side door. I pointed it out the guy looks at me with this dumb look on his face like "he wasnt supposed to know what buffing through the clear looks like." So 2 days later theyve re-clearcoated the door and most of the scratches are gone so I accept the car and call it a day. Fast forward to January 2013 and we get a good rainstorm. Get in the car to leave work and the ABS light comes on... hmm thats odd... drive a mile and the check engine light comes on... another mile the check brakes light comes on, among other lights on the dash. Message center starts scrolling 5 different error messages, looks like the fourth of july on my dash... so I head to the dealership. They give me a loaner and say they will let me know whats up when they take a look. The next day (today) I get a call from Bodywerks saying "Im sorry to hear about your car." Hmm, I say, whys that? "Well it seems your car has water damage due to a leak on the seal between the roof rail and the roof." But you charged me for replacing that seal, correct? "No, we dont replace those, we just re-use them. Weve changed our policy on that since your car is the third that this has happened to." Fantastic. How long will it take you to get it fixed? "Two days." Right. I see that being perfectly accurate... So, dear readers, my $50K lexus now has hail damage, a nearly complete repaint, and water damage to its electronics system on its carfax. All this, because my wife got stuck on 75 in a hailstorm. Whatever you do, do NOT support Bodywerks, do NOT let them touch your car, go elsewhere.

DAY 76 Yes, you saw that correctly - DAY 76 and these are business days. My 2013 ML 350 has been at Park Place Bodywerks since September 24, 2015. My husband was t-boned at a stop sign resulting in damage to the left side. The impact was not hard enough to set off the airbags but was hard enough to result in 15 weeks of repair, now totalling over $30,000.00 worth of damage. My insurance adjuster (USAA - best insurance ever) informed me in late November, after the 3rd - or was it the 4th Revised Estimate? - that he would have lobbied to total my car at the beginning taking into consideration the cost (at that time it was up to $21K) as well as the length of the repair. The cost of a rental car for 105 days adds up. Unfortunately, instead of one or two supplements from Park Place with new estimates, we have had 4 as follows... 09/28/2015 $7,970.91 10/13/2015 $12,764.21 11/27/2015 $19,241.90 01/13/2016 $30,603.33 Really?!! What was going on between 10/13 and 11/27?!! Was my car just parked over in the corner? Recently, I have even thought my car does not get priority because I bought it at Sewell. (this is what happens when your car is in the shop for 15 weeks - you go to conspiracy theories) As of now, DAY 76, the total labor hours is 136.5 which is 34 days in repair estimate time (136/4 hours per day). I understand it taking a bit longer for parts and logistics (Ive already factored in the holidays) but taking 76 days for a 34 day repair is NOT good business. I assumed Park Place would be a service oriented dealership but was I ever wrong. I dont blame my service advisor as the problem goes beyond him. I will NEVER bring this or any another car to Park Place Bodywerks and I suggest you dont either.

Take your business somewhere else and save your money and headaches. I was rear ended by a car and took it to Park Place Bodyworks because they are a licensed Bentley repair center. $33,000 in damages and got the worst service I could imagine. Took it in three times for repairs and never made it right. They missed several things that are very easy to spot and spent three trips to get it right with subpar repairs. As they have responded with their excuses on the other comments, I will post my response in the bottom for others to see. If you need a good body shop in Dallas, please reach out to me and I will provide you with information to a much better place. I will bullet point the issues to make it easier to navigate * Scuffed my tail lights * Either broke or missed a reverse light * Completely covered my car and wheels in overspray (they did not even bother to cover the rest of my car when doing repairs! * You could literally feel the bumps lumped up from all the overspray over the whole car. The window, the wheels, the grill all had a hazy film from the overspray of the clear coat. * I requested a different place take care of the rest of the repairs from being unsatisfied... only $800.. unfortunately they had already been paid the $33,000 and told me no. * Brian the sales rep in charge was extremely hard to get in touch with.... often calls only returned after I left a voicemail on Brandons phone * They did not include the reverse light on the original invoice. I dont know if this is because they missed it or if it is because they broke it. The insurance already paid out the maximum and Park Place Bodyworks will not cover it.
